Abstract

本発明は、使い捨て物品の製造において弾性材取り付け用に使用できるオレフィンポリマーに基づくホットメルト接着剤組成物を特徴とする。ホットメルト接着剤は、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが約５以下である約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと、１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、軟化点が少なくとも約９０℃である第１の粘着付与剤と、約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含む。

Description

工業用接着剤の分野では、不織布基材を含む使い捨て吸収性物品、例えば、成人用失禁製品、使い捨ておむつ、生理用ナプキン、ベッドパッド、子犬用トイレパッド、医療用ドレッシング材などをはじめとする様々な物品を一体に接着する目的で、ホットメルト接着剤が広く使用されている。
使い捨て吸収性物品の製造において用いられる多くのホットメルト接着剤が存在し得る。例えば、使い捨ておむつの製造では、接着剤は、構造（例えば、バックシートを不織布及び任意に吸収性パッドに接着させる）、弾性材の取り付け（例えば、弾性材料を例えば脚部領域又は腰部領域等においてバックシートに接着させる）、及びコアの安定化（例えば、接着剤を吸収性コアに塗布してコアの強度を増大させる）に使用される。
ポリオレフィンポリマーを配合した弾性材取り付け用途のホットメルト接着剤は、特に体温において及び応力下で、スチレンブロックコポリマー（ＳＢＣ）を配合したものよりクリープ性が高い傾向がある。弾性材取り付け用途のホットメルト接着剤にポリオレフィンポリマーを使用することは、匂いが少ない傾向があるため、望ましいであろう。
弾性材取り付け用に使用できる、及び応力下で体温に曝されたときに許容可能なクリープを生じる、オレフィン系ホットメルト接着剤の工業的な必要性がある。

一態様では、本発明は、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが約５以下である約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと、１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、軟化点が少なくとも約９０℃である第１の粘着付与剤と、約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含むホットメルト接着剤組成物を特徴とする。
一実施形態では、第１の粘着付与剤は、約２０重量％〜約７０重量％で存在する。別の実施形態では、第１の粘着付与剤は、軟化点が少なくとも約１１０℃である。更に別の実施形態では、第１のプロピレン系コポリマーは、エチレン含量が約１０以上である。異なる実施形態では、第１のプロピレン系コポリマーは、約３〜約７重量％で存在する。
一実施形態では、第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、１９０℃における粘度が約３，０００ｃｐｓ以下、又は更には約２，０００ｃｐｓ以下である。別の実施形態では、第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、約７重量％〜約２０重量％で存在する。更に別の実施形態では、ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、第３のポリマーを更に含む。
一実施形態では、第１のプロピレン系コポリマー、第２のプロピレン系ポリマー、第３のポリマー、第１の粘着付与剤、及び可塑剤は、接着剤組成物の少なくとも９０％を構成する。別の実施形態では、第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと第２のプロピレン系ポリマーとの合計は、約１０重量％以上である。
一実施形態では、ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、１７７℃における粘度が約３，０００ｃｐｓ〜約２０，０００ｃｐｓである。異なる実施形態では、ホットメルト接着剤は、クリープ（３７．８℃、４時間）が３５％以下である。
別の態様では、本発明は、
第１の基材及び弾性材料；並びに接着剤組成物であって、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）によるメルトインデックスが約５以下である約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと、１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、融点が少なくとも９０℃である粘着付与剤と、約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含む、接着剤組成物を含む、使い捨て吸収性物品を特徴とし、接着剤組成物は、弾性材料及び第１の基材と接触している。
一実施形態では、使い捨て吸収性物品は、成人用失禁製品及びおむつを含む群から選択される。異なる実施形態では、使い捨て吸収性物品は、おむつである。別の実施形態では、使い捨て吸収性物品は、成人用失禁製品である。更に別の実施形態では、接着剤組成物は、弾性材料を第１の基材に接着させ、それによって耐クリープ性ギャザーを生じる。
硬化速度が速く、引張強度が高く、クリープ性が低いことから、本発明の弾性材取り付け用ホットメルト接着剤組成物を使い捨て吸収性物品の製造に使用することができる。
ホットメルト接着剤組成物
本発明は、使い捨て物品の製造において弾性材取り付け用に使用できるオレフィンポリマーに基づくホットメルト接着剤組成物を特徴とする。ホットメルト接着剤は、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが約５以下である約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系ポリマーと、１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、軟化点が少なくとも約９０℃である第１の粘着付与剤と、約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含む。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマー、第２のプロピレン系ポリマー、第３のポリマー、第１の粘着付与剤、及び可塑剤は、組成物の少なくとも８０％、少なくとも８５重量％、少なくとも９０重量％、又は更には少なくとも９５重量％を構成することができる。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマー、第２のプロピレン系ポリマー、第３のポリマー、第１の粘着付与剤、第２の粘着付与剤、及び可塑剤は、組成物の少なくとも８０％、少なくとも８５重量％、少なくとも９０重量％、又は更には少なくとも９５重量％を構成することができる。
ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、１７７℃の温度で測定するとき、約３，０００〜約３０，０００ｃｐｓ、約３，０００〜約２０，０００ｃｐｓ、又は更には約５，０００〜約１５，０００ｃｐｓの粘度を有する。
ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、クリープ（３７．８℃、４時間）が約３５％以下、約３０％以下、又は更には約２５％以下であることができる。
ポリマー
接着剤組成物は、少なくとも２つの異なるプロピレン系ポリマーを含む。
プロピレン系ポリマーは、少なくとも５０重量％のプロピレンを含むポリマーとして定義される。第１及び／又は第２のポリマーに有用なプロピレン系ポリマーとしては、プロピレンホモポリマーが挙げられる。あるいは、２つの異なるプロピレン系ポリマーの一方又は両方は、プロピレンと１つ又は２つ以上の他のモノマー（例えば、エチレン、ブテン、ペンテン、オクテンなど）とのコポリマーであってよい。プロピレン系ポリマーは、完全にオレフィンに基づくことができ、すなわちいずれの官能基も含まない。プロピレン系ポリマーは、７５重量％を超えるプロピレン、又は更には８０重量％を超えるプロピレンを含み得る。プロピレン系ポリマーは、多分散性（Ｍｗ／Ｍｎ）が約５未満、約３未満、約１〜約４、又は更には約２であってよい。有用なプロピレン系ポリマーは、密度が約０．９０以下、約０．８９以下、約０．８８以下、又は更には約０．８６〜約０．８８であってよい。有用なプロピレン系ポリマーとしては、シングルサイト（例えば、メタロセン）触媒によるプロピレン系ポリマーが挙げられる。
第１のポリマーは、プロピレン系ポリマーである。第１のポリマーは、プロピレン系コポリマーであってもよい。第１のプロピレン系ポリマーは、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが７以下、５以下、約１〜約７、又は更には約２〜約５である。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマーは、Ｍｗ（実施例の項に記載の高温ＧＰＣ分子量分布分析試験方法を用いて得られる）が約２５００００グラム／モルより大きく、約２７５０００グラム／モルより大きく、又は更には約２５００００〜約３５００００グラム／モルである。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマーは、コモノマー含量が約１０重量％以上、約１２重量％以上、又は更には約１０重量％〜約２０重量％であってよい。一実施形態では、コモノマーはエチレンである。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマーは、組成物中に約１０％以下、約８重量％以下、約３重量％〜約１０重量％、又は更には約３重量％〜約７重量％で存在してよい。有用な市販の第１のプロピレン系ポリマーとしては、ＥｘｘｏｎＭｏｂｉｌ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ（Ｈｏｕｓｔｏｎ，Ｔｅｘａｓ）のＶＩＳＴＡＭＡＸＸ ６１０２が挙げられる。
第２のポリマーは、プロピレン系ポリマーである。第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下、約３０００ｃｐｓ以下、約２０００ｃｐｓ以下、又は更には約７５０〜約３０００ｃｐｓである。第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、Ｍｗ（実施例の項に記載の高温ＧＰＣ分子量分布分析試験方法を用いて得られる）が約６００００グラム／モル未満、約５００００グラム／モル未満、又は更には約２０，０００グラム／モル〜約６０，０００グラム／モルであってよい。
第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、コモノマー含量が約１２重量％以下、約１０重量％以下、約５重量％〜約１５重量％、又は更には約０重量％〜約１２重量％であってよい。
第２のプロピレン系ポリマーは、接着剤組成物中に約７重量％以上、約１０重量％以上、約７重量％〜約２０重量％、又は更には約１０重量％〜約１８重量％で存在してよい。有用な市販の第２のプロピレン系ポリマーとしては、Ｃｌａｒｉａｎｔ Ｉｎｔｅｒｎａｔｉｏｎａｌ Ｌｔｄ．（Ｍｕｔｔｅｎｚ，Ｓｗｉｔｚｅｒｌａｎｄ）のＬＩＣＯＣＥＮＥ ＰＰ６１０２及びＬＩＣＯＣＥＮＥ ＰＰ２６０２、並びにＥｘｘｏｎＭｏｂｉｌ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ（Ｈｏｕｓｔｏｎ，Ｔｅｘａｓ）のＶＩＳＴＡＭＡＸＸ ８８８０が挙げられる。
第１のプロピレン系ポリマーと第２のプロピレン系ポリマーとの合計は、約１０重量％以上、約１０重量％〜約３０重量％、又は更には約１２重量％〜約２５重量％であってよい。
ホットメルト接着剤は、第３のポリマーも含むことができる。第３のポリマーは、オレフィンであってよい。第３のポリマーは、エチレン系ポリマー及びプロピレン系ポリマーからなる群から選択され得る。第３のポリマーは、ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが７より大きく、約８〜約５０、又は更には約８〜２０であってよい。第３のポリマーは、第１のポリマーと同程度に粘度に影響を与えずに接着剤に強度を持たせるように使用することができる。第３のポリマーが存在する場合、第３のポリマーは、約５重量％〜約２５重量％、約７重量％〜約２０重量％、又は更には約７重量％〜約１５重量％で存在してよい。
有用な市販の第１のプロピレン系ポリマーとしては、ＥｘｘｏｎＭｏｂｉｌ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ（Ｈｏｕｓｔｏｎ，Ｔｅｘａｓ）のＶＩＳＴＡＭＡＸＸ ６２０２が挙げられる。
粘着付与剤
ホットメルト接着剤は、第１の粘着付与剤と、任意追加的に第２の粘着付与剤とを含む。
第１及び第２の粘着付与剤は、少なくとも部分的に水素化されていてもよい。適当な第１及び第２の粘着付与剤の部類としては、例えば、芳香族、脂肪族及び脂環式炭化水素樹脂、混合された芳香族及び脂肪族変性炭化水素樹脂、芳香族変性脂肪族炭化水素樹脂、及びそれらの水素化物；テルペン、変性テルペン、及びそれらの水素化物；天然ロジン、変性ロジン、ロジンエステル、及びそれらの水素化物；低分子量ポリ乳酸、及びそれらの混合物が挙げられる。有用な天然ロジン及び変性ロジンの例としては、ガムロジン、ウッドロジン、トール油ロジン、蒸留ロジン、水素化ロジン、二量化ロジン、及び重合ロジンが挙げられる。有用なロジンエステルの例としては、例えばペールウッドロジンのグリセロールエステル、水素化ロジンのグリセロールエステル、重合ロジンのグリセロールエステル、ペールウッドロジンのペンタエリトリトールエステル、水素化ロジンのペンタエリトリトールエステル、トール油ロジンのペンタエリトリトールエステル、及びロジンのフェノール変性ペンタエリトリトールエステルを含む天然並びに変性ロジンのペンタエリトリトールエステルが挙げられる。
第１の粘着付与剤は、室温で固体である。第１の粘着付与剤は、軟化点が少なくとも約９０℃、少なくとも約１００℃、少なくとも約１１０℃、少なくとも約１１５℃、少なくとも約１２５℃、又は更には約１１０℃〜約１５０℃である。有用な第１の粘着付与剤は、様々な商品名で市販されており、例えば、Ｅｘｘｏｎ Ｍｏｂｉｌ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ Ｃｏｍｐａｎｙ（Ｈｏｕｓｔｏｎ，Ｔｅｘａｓ）のＥＳＣＯＲＥＺシリーズの商品名、例えば、ＥＳＣＯＲＥＺ ５６００及び５４１５、Ｅａｓｔｍａｎ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ（Ｋｉｎｇｓｐｏｒｔ，Ｔｅｎｎｅｓｓｅｅ）のＥＡＳＴＯＴＡＣシリーズの商品名、例えば、ＥＡＳＴＯＴＡＣ Ｈ−１３０、並びにＡｋｒｏｃｈｅｍ Ｃｏｒｐｏｒａｔｉｏｎ（Ａｋｒｏｎ，Ｏｈｉｏ）のＲＥＳＩＮＡＬＬ Ｒ１０３０が挙げられる。
接着剤組成物は、約２０重量％〜約７０重量％、約３０重量％〜約６７重量％、又は更には約４５重量％〜約６５重量％の第１の粘着付与剤を含むことができる。
第２の粘着付与剤は、第１の粘着付与剤より低い軟化点を有してよい。
可塑剤
ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、可塑剤を含む。適当な可塑剤としては、例えば、ナフテン系オイル、パラフィン系オイル（例えば、シクロパラフィンオイル）、鉱油、フタル酸エステル、アジピン酸エステル、オレフィンオリゴマー（例えば、ポリプロピレンオリゴマー、ポリブテンオリゴマー、及び水素添加ポリイソプレンオリゴマー）、ポリブテン、ポリイソプレン、水素添加ポリイソプレン、ポリブタジエン、安息香酸エステル、動物油、植物油（例えば、ヒマシ油、大豆油）、オイル誘導体、脂肪酸のグリセロールエステル、ポリエステル、ポリエーテル、乳酸誘導体、固体可塑剤（例えば、安息香酸塩）、及びこれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。一実施形態では、可塑剤はオイルである。
有用な市販の可塑剤としては、Ｃａｌｕｍｅｔ Ｓｐｅｃｉａｌｔｙ Ｐｒｏｄｕｃｔｓ Ｐａｒｔｎｅｒｓ，ＬＰ（Ｉｎｄｉａｎａｐｏｌｉｓ，Ｉｎｄｉａｎａ）製のＣＡＬＳＯＬ ５５５０オイル、Ｓｏｎｎｅｂｏｒｎ（Ｔａｒｒｙｔｏｗｎ Ｎｅｗ Ｙｏｒｋ）製のＫＡＹＤＯＬ ＯＩＬ、Ｅｘｘｏｎ Ｍｏｂｉｌ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ Ｃｏｍｐａｎｙ（Ｈｏｕｓｔｏｎ，Ｔｅｘａｓ）製のＰＡＲＡＰＯＬポリブテン、ＢＡＳＦ（Ｌｕｄｗｉｇｓｈａｆｅｎ，Ｇｅｒｍａｎｙ）製のＯＰＰＡＮＯＬポリイソブチレン、Ｐｅｔｒｏｃｈｅｍ Ｃａｒｌｅｓｓ Ｌｉｍｉｔｅｄ（Ｓｕｒｒｅｙ，Ｅｎｇｌａｎｄ）製のＫＲＹＳＴＯＬ ５５０鉱油、Ｐｅｔｒｏ Ｃａｎａｄａ Ｌｕｂｒｉｃａｎｔｓ Ｉｎｃ．（Ｍｉｓｓｉｓｓａｕｇａ，Ｏｎｔａｒｉｏ）製のＰＵＲＥＴＯＬ １５鉱油、及びＥａｓｔｍａｎ Ｃｈｅｍｉｃａｌ Ｃｏｍｐａｎｙ（Ｋｉｎｇｓｐｏｒｔ，Ｔｅｎｎｅｓｓｅｅ）製の室温固体安息香酸塩可塑剤であるＢＥＮＺＯＦＬＥＸ ３５２が挙げられる。
可塑剤は、２０重量％以下、１８重量％以下、約５重量％〜約２０重量％、又は更には約１０重量％〜約１８重量％で存在する。
追加成分
接着剤組成物は、任意追加的に追加成分を含み、例えば、安定剤、酸化防止剤、追加のポリマー（例えば、スチレンブロックコポリマー、非晶性ポリαオレフィン、ポリエチレンコポリマー）、追加の粘着付与剤、ワックス、接着促進剤、紫外線安定剤、着色剤（例えば、顔料及び染料）、充填剤、界面活性剤、共押出コーティング、包装フィルム、湿潤インジケータ、超吸収剤、及びこれらの組み合わせを含む。
有用な酸化防止剤としては、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス［３，（３，５−ジ−ｔｅｒｔ−ブチル−４−ヒドロキシフェニル）プロピオネート］、２，２’−メチレンビス（４−メチル−６−ｔｅｒｔ−ブチルフェノール）、トリ−（ｐ−ノニルフェニル）−ホスファイト（ＴＮＰＰ）及びビス（２，４−ジ−ｔｅｒｔ−ブチルフェニル）４，４’−ジフェニレン−ジホスホナイト等の亜リン酸塩類、ジ−ステアリル−３，３’−チオジプロピオネート（ＤＳＴＤＰ）並びにこれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。有用な酸化防止剤は、例えば、商品名ＩＲＧＡＮＯＸシリーズ（例えば、いずれもＢＡＳＦ社（ニュージャージー州、フローラム・パーク）より販売される、ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤であるＩＲＧＡＮＯＸ １０１０、ＩＲＧＡＮＯＸ ５６５、及びＩＲＧＡＮＯＸ １０７６、並びに亜リン酸系酸化防止剤であるＩＲＧＡＦＯＳ １６８）、及びＥＴＨＹＬ ７０２ ４，４’−メチレンビス（２，６−ジ−ｔｅｒｔ−ブチルフェノール）を含む様々な商品名のものが市販されている。酸化防止剤が含まれる場合、接着剤組成物は、約０．１重量％〜約２重量％の酸化防止剤を含むことが好ましい。
使い捨て吸収性物品
接着剤組成物は、例えばフィルム（例えばポリオレフィン（例えばポリエチレン及びポリプロピレン）フィルム）、剥離ライナー、多孔質基材、セルロース基材、シート（例えば紙及び繊維シート）、紙製品、織布及び不織布、繊維（例えば合成ポリマー繊維及びセルロース繊維）、並びにテープ裏材をはじめとする様々な基材に塗布する（すなわち接着剤組成物が基材と直接接触するように）か又はその様々な基材に含有させることができる。
接着剤組成物は、例えば、使い捨て吸収性物品（例えば、使い捨ておむつ、成人用失禁製品、生理用ナプキン、医療用ドレッシング材（例えば創傷ケア製品）、包帯、外科用パッド、ペットしつけ用パッド（例えば子犬しつけ用パッド）及び食肉包装製品、並びに吸収性物品の構成部材（例えば、吸収性要素、吸収性コア、不透水性層（例えば、バックシート）、薄織物（例えば、包装用薄織物）、獲得層、及び織布及び不織布ウェブ層（例えば、トップシート、吸収性薄織物））及び弾性材をはじめとする様々な用途及び構造体においても有用である。
本接着剤組成物は、例えば、ウッドパルプ、コットン、シルク及びウールなどの天然セルロース繊維；ナイロン、レーヨン、ポリエステル、アクリル樹脂、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリウレタン、及びガラスなどの合成繊維；再生繊維、及びこれらの異なる組み合わせを含む様々な繊維から製造された基材に対して有用である。
例えば、スロットコーティング、スプレー法（例えば螺旋スプレー法及びランダムスプレー法）、スクリーン印刷、発泡法、彫刻ローラ、押出成形、及びメルトブローン塗布法を含む様々な塗布方法を用いて、基材に本組成物を塗布することができる。
使い捨て吸収性物品の製造方法
ホットメルト接着剤組成物は、弾性材料（例えば、ストランド、フィルムなど）を使い捨て吸収性物品の構成部材に接着させることを含む、弾性材取り付け用途に使用される。弾性材料を伸長形態においてホットメルト接着剤組成物でコーティングし、次いでフィルム（例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンなど）又は不織布基材に接着させることができる。また、ホットメルト接着剤でコーティングした弾性材料を、２つのかかる基材間に接着させることもできる。この工程により、張力を除くと耐クリープ性ギャザーが得られる。
あるいは、接着剤をフィルム又は不織布基材に塗布し、次いでそれに弾性材料を接着させることができる。
使い捨て吸収性物品の耳部／タブの形成において、ホットメルト接着剤を弾性材取り付け接着剤として使用することができる。
あるいは、使い捨て吸収性物品の脚部ホール又は腰部のいずれかを伸縮性にさせるように、ホットメルト接着剤を弾性材取り付け接着剤として更に使用することができる。
次に本発明を以下の実施例により説明する。特に断らないかぎり、実施例に記載されるすべての部、比、百分率及び量は、重量を基準としたものである。
試験手順
実施例において、また、本明細書の全体を通じて用いられる試験手順は、特に断らないかぎりは以下のものを含む。表２及び表３に列挙された原材料の量は、重量パーセント単位である。
高温ＧＰＣ分子量分布分析
表１の各ポリマーのＧＰＣ分子量分布曲線を、ＢＨＴ安定化１，２，４−トリクロロベンゼン（ＴＣＢ）移動相を用いた高温ＨＰＬＣシステムを使用して得た。分子量データをポリスチレン標準に対して算出した。

移動相：０．０１２５％ＢＨＴで安定化したＴＣＢ

粘度試験法
粘度は、表題が「Ｓｔａｎｄａｒｄ Ｔｅｓｔ Ｍｅｔｈｏｄ ｆｏｒ Ａｐｐａｒｅｎｔ ｖｉｓｃｏｓｉｔｙ ｏｆ Ａｄｈｅｓｉｖｅｓ ａｎｄ Ｃｏａｔｉｎｇ Ｍａｔｅｒｉａｌｓ」であるＡＳＴＭ Ｄ−３２３６（１９８８年１０月３１日）に従い、ブルックフィールド社製のモデルＲＶＤＶ２、スピンドル番号２７のＴｈｅｒｍｏｓｅｌ粘度計を用いて測定する。結果はセンチポアズ（ｃｐｓ）で記録する。
クリープ測定
接着調製
ホットメルト接着剤を溶融形態で、３ ＬＹＣＲＡ ８００ｄｔｅｘストランド（３００％まで予め伸長されている）に、Ｎｏｒｄｓｏｎ ＳＵＲＥ ＷＲＡＰノズルを使用して１７７℃の塗布温度及び４７．３ｍｇ／ストランド／メートル（１．２ｍｇ／ストランド／インチ）のコート重量で塗布する。予め伸長した弾性ストランドに接着剤をコーティングし、次いでストランドを不織布（Ｍｉｄｗｅｓｔ Ｆｉｌｔｒａｔｉｏｎ ＬＬＣから入手可能なＵＮＩＰＲＯ ４５）とポリエチレンバックシート（Ｃｌｏｐａｙから入手可能なＤＨ２８４）との間に積層した。
接着試験
１．複数ストランド弾性材取り付け積層体の一方の端部を、不織布面を上にして、丈夫なボール紙片の縁部にステープル留めする。
２．バックシートを延伸し過ぎないように注意しながら、試料を完全延伸の１００％まで延伸する。
３．試料がボール紙上の３００ｍｍの印に達した位置で試料に印を付ける。
４．試料の印がボール紙上の２８５ｍｍの印に達するまで試料を弛緩させ、取り付け体のもう一方の端部をステープル留めする。このとき試料は完全延伸の９５％で固定されている。
５．少なくとも５つの試料を同様に取り付けた後、取り付け体の各端部で弾性材の個々のストランドを切断し、ストランドが積層体内で動けるようにする。ポリエチレンシート全体を切断しないように注意する。
６．固定された試験片を有するボール紙を３７．８℃（１００°Ｆ）で４時間調整する。
７．ボール紙及び試料をオーブンから取り出し、取り付け体のギャザー部分で示される、弾性材が依然として接着している部分のポリエチレンに印を付ける。
８．弾性材が依然として接着している部分の初期の接着長さ（２８５ｍｍ）と４時間の時点での接着長さとを測定し、以下の計算によってクリープ率を計算する。
９．５つの試料の平均を報告する。

Claims (15)

  1. ホットメルト接着剤組成物であって、
    ａ．ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）により測定したメルトインデックスが約５以下である、約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと、
    ｂ．１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である、第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、
    ｃ．軟化点が少なくとも約９０℃である、第１の粘着付与剤と、
    ｄ．約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含む、ホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  2. 前記第１の粘着付与剤が約２０重量％〜約７０重量％で存在する、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  3. 前記第１の粘着付与剤の軟化点が少なくとも約１１０℃である、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  4. 前記第１のプロピレン系コポリマーのエチレン含量が約１０以上である、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  5. 前記第１のプロピレン系コポリマーが約３重量％〜約７重量％で存在する、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  6. 前記第２のプロピレン系ポリマーの１９０℃における粘度が約３，０００ｃｐｓ以下である、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  7. 前記第２のプロピレン系ポリマーが約７重量％〜約２０重量％で存在する、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  8. 第３のポリマーを更に含む、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  9. 前記第１のプロピレン系コポリマー、第２のプロピレン系ポリマー、第３のポリマー、第１の粘着付与剤、及び可塑剤が、前記接着剤組成物の少なくとも９０％を構成する、請求項９に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  10. 前記第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと前記第２のプロピレン系ポリマーとの合計が約１０重量％以上である、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  11. １７７℃における粘度が約３，０００ｃｐｓ〜約２０，０００ｃｐｓである、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  12. クリープ（３７．８℃、４時間）が３５％以下である、請求項１に記載のホットメルト接着剤組成物。
  13. 使い捨て吸収性物品であって、
    ａ．第１の基材と、
    ｂ．弾性材料と、
    ｃ．接着剤組成物であって、
    ｉ．ＡＳＴＭ Ｄ１２３８（１９０℃、２．１６ｋｇ）によるメルトインデックスが約５以下である、約３〜約１０重量％の第１のプロピレン系コポリマーと、
    ｉｉ．１９０℃における粘度が約５０００ｃｐｓ以下である、第２のプロピレン系ポリマーと、
    ｉｉｉ．融点が少なくとも９０℃である、粘着付与剤と、
    ｉｖ．約５重量％〜約２０重量％の可塑剤と、を含む、接着剤組成物と、を含み、
    前記接着剤組成物が、前記弾性材料及び前記第１の基材と接触している、使い捨て吸収性物品。
  14. 前記使い捨て吸収性物品が、成人用失禁製品及びおむつからなる群から選択される、請求項１３に記載の使い捨て吸収性物品。
  15. 前記接着剤組成物が、前記弾性材料を前記第１の基材に接着させ、それによって耐クリープ性ギャザーを生じる、請求項１３に記載の使い捨て吸収性物品。
