Description
左右対称のアイソタクチック構造のブロックを有するポリマーから製造される接着剤は、接着剤の総重量に基づき、少なくとも30重量%、および70重量%以下の粘着付与剤を必要とする。
(a)少なくとも70重量%のポリマー混合物であって、該混合物は、(i)約0.70〜約0.91g/cm3の密度範囲を有し、190℃で50000cP未満の溶融粘度を有するメタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーと、(ii)ポリブテンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマーおよびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択される非晶質コポリマーとを含有するポリマー混合物と;
(b)30重量%未満であるが0重量%ではない粘着付与剤および/または希釈剤を含有する。接着剤の成分は、該接着剤が100重量%となるように添加される。接着剤は、ASTM D3236に従い150℃にて約11000センチポイズより低い粘度を有する。
(b)30重量%未満の粘着付与剤および/または希釈剤を含有し、
接着剤は、150℃にて約11000センチポイズ(cP)より低い粘度を有する。
L−MODU400PPは、出光製のメタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンコポリマーであり、190℃にて約7000cpsの溶融粘度と60MPaのモジュラスを有する。
粘度は、ASTM D3236、スピンドル27、標準ブルックフィールド粘度計を用いて302°F(150℃)にて測定した。
2枚の不織シート間または不織シートとポリマーフィルムとの間で、延伸状態で接着させたフィラメント(例えば、スパンデックス)の長さを測定し、マークした(「出発長さ」)。スパンデックスの両端を、接着接合領域(断続的な領域)の外側で切断した。結果として生じる自由端フィラメント収縮量を、38℃で4時間後に測定する。その後、パーセントクリープを以下の方法で算出した:
2枚の不織シート間または不織シートとポリマーフィルムとの間で、延伸状態で接着させたフィラメント(例えば、スパンデックス)の長さを測定し、マークした(「出発長さ」)。サンプル長さは、マークした領域の外部で測定する。フィラメント収縮量を、38℃で4時間後に測定する。その後、パーセントクリープを以下の方法で算出した:
表1−3に示したサンプルを、当該技術分野において既知の技術により準備した。各接着剤サンプルに対する成分を表に示す。例示的な手順は、回転子を装着し、ジャケットを装着した混合ケトル中に粘着付与剤総量の約半分を導入し、約100℃〜約170℃の温度に昇温させることを含む。粘着付与剤が溶融した際、撹拌を開始し、均質な塊が得られるまで残りの成分を添加した。
Claims (20)
- (a)少なくとも70重量%のポリマー混合物であって、
i)0.70〜0.91g/cm3の密度範囲を有し、190℃で50000cP未満の溶融粘度を有するメタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーおよび、
ii)ポリブテンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマーおよびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択されるチーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマー
を含有する、該ポリマー混合物と;
(b)0重量%よりも多く30重量%未満の粘着付与剤および/または希釈剤、
とを含有する、接着剤であって、
ASTM C3236に基づき、150℃にて11000センチポイズより低い粘度を有し;総重量が100重量%となる、該接着剤。 - 接着剤が、25重量%未満の粘着付与剤および/または希釈剤を含有する、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーが、C2 、C 4 −C10α−オレフィンコモノマーをさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーが、アイソタクチック(isotatic)ポリプロピレンである、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーが、アタクチックポリプロピレンである、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- チーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマーの粘度が、190℃にて500cP〜3000cPの範囲である、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- チーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマーが、C2−C3、C5−C10α−オレフィンコモノマーを含有する、ポリブテンコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- チーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマーが、C2、C4−C10α−オレフィンコモノマーを含有する、ポリプロピレンコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- (i)メタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマー対(ii) チーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマーの比率は1:10〜1:1の範囲である、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- 粘着付与剤が、天然および変性ポリテルペン、環状または非環式C5樹脂、環状または非環式C9樹脂、脂肪族および芳香族石油炭化水素樹脂、およびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- 粘着付与剤が、80℃よりも高い軟化点を有する、請求項10に記載の接着剤。
- 10重量%以下のワックスをさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の接着剤。
- 接着剤を含有する使い捨て物品であって、
該接着剤が、
(a)少なくとも70重量%のポリマー混合物であって、
i)0.70〜0.91g/cm3の密度範囲を有し、190℃で50000cP未満の溶融粘度を有するメタロセン触媒ポリプロピレンポリマーおよび、
ii)ポリブテンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマーおよびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択されるチーグラー・ナッタ触媒非晶質ポリマー
を含有する、該ポリマー混合物と;
(b)0重量%よりも多く30重量%未満の粘着付与剤および/または希釈剤
とを含有し、
ASTM D3236に基づき、150℃にて11000センチポイズより低い粘度を有し、ならびに、総重量が100重量%となる、
該使い捨て物品。 - 弾性取り付け具である、請求項13に記載の使い捨て物品。
- 基板を含有する請求項14に記載の使い捨て物品であって、基板が、ゴム、オレフィンおよびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択されるフィルムである、該使い捨て物品。
- a)請求項1に記載の接着剤を、140℃〜160℃の温度で基板に施すこと、
b)室温まで該接着剤を冷却すること、
を含む物品の形成方法であって、
38℃にて4時間、300%歪みを該冷却した接着剤に施した後、該冷却した接着剤が40%未満のクリープ性能を有する、
該物品の形成方法。 - 接着剤が、ストランドコーティングまたはスパイラルコーティングにより施される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 接着剤が、20〜100mg/m/ストランドの付加レベルで施される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 接着剤が、3〜30mg/インチの付加レベルで施される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 38℃にて4時間、300%歪みを冷却した接着剤に施した後、冷却した接着剤が30%未満のクリープ性能を有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
