抵抗の増減率%ΔRを算出した後、ステップS1710において、マイクロコントローラ905は、算出した抵抗の変化率%ΔRと閾値増減率%RTHとの間の比較に基づいて、ヒーターへの電力を断つかどうかを決定する。抵抗%ΔRの算出された増減率が、閾値増減率%RTHを超えた(例えば、大きい)場合、その後、ステップS1711において、マイクロコントローラ905は、ヒーター電力制御信号HEAT_PWR_CTRLを無効にし、それにより、ヒーター電力制御トランジスタU1をオフ状態(オープン)に設定することによって、ヒーター14への電力を断つ。

- 電子ベイピング装置の電池セクションであって、
長手方向に延在するハウジングであって、第一の端および第二の端を有する、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内の電源と、
前記ハウジング内の制御回路と、
前記ハウジングの前記第二の端における伝導性の接点組立品であって、前記電源と前記制御回路を電気的に接続し、外部電源および少なくとも一つの命令を受けるように構成される、伝導性の接点組立品と、を備える、電池セクション。 - 前記制御回路が、前記少なくとも一つの命令を検出するために、抵抗の変化および静電容量の変化のうちの少なくとも一つを検出するように構成される、請求項1に記載の電池セクション。
- 前記接点組立品が、
充電アノードと、
充電カソードと、を含み、
前記制御回路が、
共通接地面から前記充電カソードを電気的に分離するように構成される、分離要素を含む、請求項1または2に記載の電池セクション。 - 前記接点組立品が、

前記充電スロットに隣接する少なくとも一つの磁石と、
前記充電スロットを囲み、前記充電スロットから前記USB充電器の外部表面に延在する光パイプであって、電子ベイピング装置の充電状態を示すように、前記電子ベイピング装置から前記USB充電器の前記外部表面へと光を伝送するように構成される、光パイプと、を備える、ユニバーサルシリアルバス(USB)充電器。 - 前記ハウジングが、内部区画を画定し、

吸煙事象の検出に応じて、前記ヒーターコイルの目下の抵抗を測定し、
前記ヒーターコイルの前記測定した目下の抵抗、および前記基準抵抗に基づいて、前記ヒーターコイルの抵抗の増減率を算出し、ならびに、
前記ヒーターコイルの抵抗の前記算出された増減率に基づいて、前記ヒーターコイルへの電力を制御するように構成される、制御回路と、を含む、電池セクションを備える、電子ベイピング装置。 - 前記制御回路が、前記ヒーターコイルの抵抗の前記算出された増減率と閾値との間の比較に基づいて、前記ヒーターコイルへの電力を制御するようにさらに構成される、請求項23に記載の電子ベイピング装置。
- 前記制御回路が、前記ヒーターコイルの抵抗の前記算出された増減率が前記閾値を超える場合に、前記ヒーターコイルへの電力を遮断するようにさらに構成される、請求項24に記載の電子ベイピング装置。
