Claims (12)
- チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品の摩耗特性を向上する方法であって、
a)いかなる外来性汚染物質を除去するために前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品をアルカリ剤で洗浄する工程と、
b)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品から前記アルカリ剤を除去するために前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品をすすぎ洗浄する工程と、
c)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を清浄にする工程と、
d)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を少なくとも1回すすぎ洗浄する工程と、
e)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を酸浴槽中に浸漬することによって、前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を酸活性化する工程と、
f)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品上の酸浴に由来する酸を除去するために前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を水道水により少なくとも1回すすぎ洗浄する工程と、
g)前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品をph4.8〜5.2、180〜190°Fの温度下で浴槽中に浸漬することによって、シリコン、ホウ素、クロムおよびバナジウムから成る群から選択された元素を用いて形成された炭化物または炭化物の硬質粒子を含有する無電解ニッケル被膜を前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品に施す工程と、
h)前記被覆されたチェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を少なくとも1回すすぎ洗浄する工程と、を含み、前記チェーン部品がブシュ、ピン、ロッカ−、およびロ−ラを含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品をアルカリ剤で洗浄する工程(a)の前に、前記チェーンリンクおよび/またはチェーン部品が、室温下で少なくとも2分間水道水によりすすぎ洗浄されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)における前記アルカリ剤が、水酸化物、炭酸塩、珪酸塩、リン酸塩および他の有機界面活性剤の組み合せであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)において、前記アルカリ剤を160〜180°Fの温度下で5分間塗布することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(c)における前記洗浄が電気洗浄であり、前記洗浄が30ASFにて5分間、165〜185°Fの温度下で実施されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(e)の前記酸浴が、5〜10%の濃度範囲の硫酸を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(e)の前記酸浴が30〜50%の濃度範囲で塩酸を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(e)における前記酸浴が、蒸留水を用いて室温下で希釈されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(g)において塗布される前記硬質粒子が、合成ダイヤモンド・ライク・カ−ボン粒子をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(g)において前記チェーン部品および/またはチェーンリンクに施された前記被膜は、前記被覆が14〜25μmの厚さに達するまで施されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(h)の後、前記リンクおよび/またはチェーン部品を乾燥させる工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記すすぎ洗浄工程が室温にて水道水により行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
