Description
Claims (18)
- 所定の車両乗員を保護すべく自動車内に設置されるサイドエアバッグであって、
前記車両乗員の胸郭領域との接触のために適合された上部胸郭部と、前記車両乗員の骨盤領域との接触のために適合された下部骨盤部とを有する膨張可能なチャンバを形成する外皮と、
少なくとも一部が前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置されたインフレータの周りに配置されたループディフューザであって、前記ループディフューザが、対向した第1及び第2の開口端を有し、前記第1の開口端が、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記上部胸郭部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記第2の開口端が、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記下部骨盤部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記第1の開口端が、前記第2の開口端と比較して断面が著しく小さい、ループディフューザとを備えたサイドエアバッグ。 - 前記外皮が、前記胸郭部及び前記骨盤部の両方を含む単一の膨張可能なチャンバを形成する、請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記サイドエアバッグが、前記自動車両の後部座席への配置に適合されている、請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記サイドエアバッグが、前記自動車両の前部座席への配置に適合されている、請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記ループディフューザが、平坦化された状態では截頭三角形の輪郭を有し、膨張可能なチャンバの膨張時には円錐台形状を有する、請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端及び前記第2の開口端が、断面開口面積を各々有し、前記第1の端部の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の端部の前記断面開口面積の50%未満である、請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の開口端の前記断面開口面積の25%未満である、請求項6に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の開口端の前記断面開口面積の10%未満である、請求項7に記載のサイドエアバッグ。
- 請求項1に記載の前記サイドエアバッグと、前記サイドエアバッグの前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に少なくとも部分的に配置されたインフレータとを含む組み合わせ品。
- 前記自動車両の後部座席内の配置のために構成された、請求項9に記載の組み合わせ品。
- 所定の車両乗員を保護すべく自動車内に設置されるリアサイドエアバッグであって、
前記車両乗員の胸郭領域との接触のために適合された上部胸郭部と、前記車両乗員の骨盤領域との接触のために適合された下部骨盤部とを有する単一の膨張可能なチャンバを形成する外皮と、
少なくとも一部が前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置されたインフレータの周りに配置されたループディフューザであって、前記ループディフューザが、平坦化された状態では截頭三角形の輪郭、及び前記膨張可能なチャンバの膨張時には円錐台形状を有し、前記ループディフューザが、対向した第1及び第2の開口端をさらに有し、前記第1の開口端が、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記上部胸郭部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記第2の開口端が、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記下部骨盤部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記ループディフューザが、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記上部胸郭部への膨張用ガスの流れと比較して著しく大きい、前記インフレータから前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記下部骨盤部への膨張用ガスの流れを許容するように適合されている、ループディフューザとを備える後部用サイドエアバッグ。 - ループディフューザが、平坦化された状態では截頭三角形の輪郭、及び膨張可能なチャンバの膨張時には円錐台形状を有する、請求項11に記載のリアサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端及び前記第2の開口端が、断面開口面積を各々有し、前記第1の端部の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の端部の前記断面開口面積の50%未満である、請求項11に記載のリアサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の開口端の前記断面開口面積の25%未満である、請求項13に記載のリアサイドエアバッグ。
- 前記第1の開口端の前記断面開口面積が、前記第2の開口端の前記断面開口面積の10%未満である、請求項14に記載のリアサイドエアバッグ。
- 請求項11に記載の前記後部用サイドエアバッグと、前記後部用サイドエアバッグの前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に少なくとも部分的に配置されたインフレータとを含む組み合わせ品。
- 前記自動車両の後部座席内の配置のために構成された、請求項16に記載の組み合わせ品。
- 所定の車両乗員を保護すべく自動車内に設置されるリアサイドエアバッグ組立体であって、
前記車両乗員の胸郭領域との接触のために適合された上部胸郭部と、前記車両乗員の骨盤領域との接触のために適合された下部骨盤部とを有する単一の膨張可能なチャンバを形成する外皮を有するリアサイドエアバッグと、
前記後部用サイドエアバッグ内に少なくとも部分的に配置されたインフレータ装置であって、作動時に、前記膨張可能なチャンバを膨張させるために、膨張用ガスの量を前記後部用サイドエアバッグに供給するように適合されたインフレータ装置と、
少なくとも一部が前記膨張可能なチャンバ内に配置されたインフレータの周りに配置されたループディフューザであって、前記ループディフューザが、対向した第1及び第2の開口端を有し、前記第1の開口端が、前記インフレータ装置から前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記上部胸郭部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記第2の開口端が、前記インフレータ装置から前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記下部骨盤部への膨張用ガスの連通を許容するように適合され、前記ループディフューザが、前記インフレータ装置から前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記上部胸郭部への膨張用ガスの流れと比較して著しく大きい、前記インフレータ装置から前記膨張可能なチャンバの前記下部骨盤部への膨張用ガスの流れを許容するように適合されているループディフューザとを備えたリアサイドエアバッグ組立体。
