MELのトリアシル体、すなわちトリアシルマンノシルエリスリトールリピッド(トリアシルMELと称することがある)の構造を、一般式(2)又は(3)に示す。
繊維処理剤が、(a)マンノシルエリスリトールリピッド(MEL)、ならびに(b)(ポリ)グリセリン、(ポリ)グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、及び(ポリ)グリセリンのアルキレンオキサイド付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のグリセリン化合物を含み、成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量が繊維処理剤全体に対し40質量%以上であり、成分(a)の質量が成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量に対し33〜99.5質量%である、合成繊維である。

・皮膚被覆シート(具体的にはフェイスマスク、冷感・温感パップ剤などの化粧用・医療用貼付剤の基布、創傷面保護シート、不織布製の包帯、痔疾用パッド、肌に直接あてる温熱器具(例えば使い捨てカイロ)、各種動物用貼付剤の基布等)
・対人ワイパー(メイク落としシート、制汗シート、おしり拭き等)、各種動物用ワイピングシート等
・その他(例えば使い捨ての肌着、医療用ガウンなど使い捨ての衣料品、マスク、動物用創傷保護衣料、絆創膏繊維部、包帯、医療用ガーゼ等)
が皮膚接触製品として挙げられる。本発明の繊維を含む不織布は、これらの製品の一部または全部を構成してよい。例えば、体液吸収性物品においては、表面材のみを本発明の繊維を含む不織布で構成してよい。また、皮膚被覆シートにおいては、特に、敏感な部分を覆う部分のみを本発明の繊維を含む不織布で構成してよく、あるいは皮膚被覆シート全体を本発明の繊維を含む不織布で構成してよい。
成分(a)及び(b)として、下記に示すものを使用し、表1に示す割合(質量%)で混合して繊維処理剤を調製した。
a−1:マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドB(商品名:セラメーラ(登録商標)、東洋紡(株)製)
a−2:サーファクチンナトリウム(商品名:カネカサーファクチン、(株)カネカ製)
a−3:ソホロリピッド(商品名:ACSソホロ、(株)アライドカーボンソリューション製)
[成分(b)]
b−1:デカグリセリンモノラウレート(商品名:ML750、阪本薬品工業(株)製)
b−2:ポリオキシプロピレンジグリセリンエーテル(プロピレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数14)(商品名:SC−P1000、阪本薬品工業(株)製)
b−3:ポリグリセリン(ポリグリセリン供給源としてポリグリセリンを約25質量%含む油剤(商品名:TES8327、竹本油脂(株)製)を使用した)
紡糸前の融点が130℃で、メルトフローレートがJIS K6922−1に準じて、温度190℃、質量2.16kgfで測定した値が20g/10minで、密度が0.952である高密度ポリエチレン(商品名:ニポロンハードOS02H、東ソー(株)製)及び、紡糸前の融点が260℃で、極限粘度値(IV値)が0.640dl/gのポリエチレンテレフタレート(商品名:HY−01、恒逸(HENGYI)製)を用い、孔径φ0.35の吐出孔の紡糸ノズルから、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂とポリエチレン樹脂を質量比を芯成分:鞘成分=60/40で紡出し、引取速度1200m/inで、溶融紡糸を実施し、繊度5.4dtexの芯鞘型複合未延伸糸を得た。
繊維処理剤として、ぞれぞれ表1に示す実施例2〜7、比較例1〜6、及び参考例1〜3の欄に記載した割合で各成分を混合して調製したものを用いた以外は、実施例1を作製するときに採用した手順と同じ手順で繊維を得、熱接着不織布を作成し、繊維表面への処理剤の付着量を前記方法で求めた。結果を表1に記載した。なお、実施例6及び7においてb−3のポリグリセリンとしてポリグリセリンを25質量%含有する油剤を使用して繊維処理剤を調製したが、表1中の成分(b)の割合及び付着量については油剤量ではなくポリグリセリン量に基づいて記載した。
繊維表面への処理剤の付着率は、Foss(株)製 迅速残脂抽出装置(SoxtecTM2055)を用い、迅速抽出法により測定した。まず、所定長に切断された繊維処理剤で処理された繊維を、熱風乾燥機(105℃×30分)で乾燥後、開繊機(オープナー)2回掛けした後、原綿を8g(Wf)を計り、その綿を金属製の筒(内径35mm、長さ75mm、底部が100メッシュ平織金網フィルターのもの)に充填した後、エタノール/ヘキサン(75/25)の溶剤(90ml)を入れたアルミカップに浸漬させる。繊維試料に付着していた処理剤が溶解した溶剤(エタノール/ヘキサン)のアルミニウムカップ(質量:Wtray)を加熱し、溶剤を蒸発させる。アルミニウムカップの質量(Wtray)は、乾燥機でアルミニウムカップを十分に乾燥(105℃×10分)させてから、溶剤を受ける前に測定する。溶剤が完全に蒸発した後、繊維処理剤が残留しているアルミニウムカップの質量(Wfat)を測定する。前記の測定の後、繊維質量に対する繊維表面への処理剤の付着量を、次の式から算出する。実施例1の繊維表面への処理剤の付着量を前記方法で求めた結果、処理剤の付着量は繊維質量に対し、0.5質量%であった。この付着量に、繊維処理剤における成分(a)及び(b)の含有量(質量%)を乗じて、繊維質量に対する成分(a)及び(b)の付着量(質量%)を求め、表1に示した。
得られた実施例および各比較例の不織布の親水性を評価した。親水性の評価は、ランオフ(RUN−OFF)テスト(EDNA(European Disposables and Nonwovens Association)により推奨される試験のEDNARUN−OFF試験と称される方法)方法で行い、具体的には次の手順で行った。まず、不織布を、縦方向(機械方向)×横方向が36cm×15cmとなるように切断して、サンプルとした。この不織布サンプルを、縦方向と水平面が45度の角度をなすように支持台の上に載せ、固定する。このとき、支持台の斜面の上には、(株)アドバンテック製 ろ紙5種Aを敷き、その上に、測定する不織布サンプルを5枚重ねて載せ固定する。支持台は、水平面と45度の角度を有する略垂直二等辺三角形の断面を有するものである。不織布表面の上端1cm、高さ1cmの位置から、青色に着色した生理食塩水を、ビュレットにて、2g/10秒の速度で計10g滴下し、注いだ生理食塩水がすべて不織布に吸収され、生理食塩水の水滴が不織布表面から消えた位置を測定し、該当位置と生理食塩水を不織布表面に滴下した位置との間の、生理食塩水の水滴が不織布表面を流れた距離を求める。各例において10サンプル使用してテストを10回行いランオフ値(流れた距離)の平均値(mm)を表1に示す。
得られた実施例、比較例、及び参考例の不織布の保湿性を評価した。被験者は5名(30〜40代男女)である。被験者の前腕内側部を市販洗剤(商品名:チャーミVクイック、ライオン(株)製)で5回洗浄する。その後、22℃、50%RH環境にて30分間安静にさせた後、Corneometer CM825(Courage+Khazaka社)を用いて、市販洗剤で洗浄後の前腕内側部の角質水分量を測定した。その後、実施例、比較例、又は参考例で得られた不織布(サンプルサイズ:3cm×3cm)を角質水分量を測定した前腕内側部に貼り付け、貼り付けた状態で120分経過した後の角質水分量を測定した。貼り付け後の角質水分量から塗布前の角質水分量を減法し、角質水分量の増加量を算出した。結果を表1に示す。
対照的に、参考例1と比較例1及び2との対比において、他のバイオサーファクタントであるa−2(サーファクチンナトリウム)とa−3(ソホロリピッド)を使用すると、グリセリン化合物のランオフ値20.2より大きくなる結果となっており、グリセリン化合物の親水性付与作用を低下させていることが確認された。
Claims (10)
- (a)マンノシルエリスリトールリピッド(MEL)、ならびに
(b)(ポリ)グリセリン、(ポリ)グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、及び(ポリ)グリセリンのアルキレンオキサイド付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のグリセリン化合物
が繊維表面に付着している合成繊維。 - 成分(a)及び(b)の繊維付着量が、合成繊維質量に対し、各々、0.05〜10質量%及び0.01〜1質量%である、請求項1に記載の合成繊維。
- MELが、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドA(MEL−A)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドB(MEL−B)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドC(MEL−C)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドD(MEL−D)、MEL−Aのトリアシル体、MEL−Bのトリアシル体、MEL−Cのトリアシル体、及びMEL−Dのトリアシル体からなる群から選択される1種以上である、請求項1又は2に記載の合成繊維。
- 繊維処理剤が繊維表面に付着している合成繊維であって、
繊維処理剤が、
(a)マンノシルエリスリトールリピッド(MEL)、ならびに
(b)(ポリ)グリセリン、(ポリ)グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、及び(ポリ)グリセリンのアルキレンオキサイド付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のグリセリン化合物
を含み、成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量が繊維処理剤全体に対し40質量%以上であり、成分(a)の質量が成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量に対し33〜99.5質量%である、
合成繊維。 - MELが、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドA(MEL−A)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドB(MEL−B)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドC(MEL−C)、マンノシルエリスリトールリピッドD(MEL−D)、MEL−Aのトリアシル体、MEL−Bのトリアシル体、MEL−Cのトリアシル体、及びMEL−Dのトリアシル体からなる群から選択される1種以上である、請求項4に記載の合成繊維。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の合成繊維を50質量%以上含有する、繊維集合物。
- 皮膚接触用製品であって、該製品の皮膚接触部において請求項6に記載の繊維集合物を含み、該繊維集合物が不織布である、皮膚接触用製品。
- 皮膚接触用製品が衛生用品である、請求項7に記載の皮膚接触用製品。
- (a)マンノシルエリスリトールリピッド(MEL)、ならびに
(b)(ポリ)グリセリン、(ポリ)グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、及び(ポリ)グリセリンのアルキレンオキサイド付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のグリセリン化合物
を含み、成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量に対し、成分(a)を33〜99.5質量%含む、繊維処理剤。 - 成分(a)及び(b)の合計質量が繊維処理剤の40質量%以上である、請求項9に記載の繊維処理剤。
