Abstract
Description
プリチャージ回路11aは、第1のコンタクタ11に対して並列に接続される。
上述の実施形態では、電池セル群10の数が三つである場合について説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されない。すなわち、電池セル群10の数が二つ以上であれば、特に限定されない。例えば、電池セル群10の数が二つである場合には、故障判定部193は、故障判定処理として多数決ではなく、図4に示す方法により行ってもよい。なお、図4を説明するにあたり、車両用バッテリ装置3は、二つの電池セル群10−1,10−2、二つの電流センサ16−1,16−2を備えるとする。
上記実施形態では、故障判定部193は、故障判定処理として多数決の原理を用いたが、本発明はこれに限定されない。例えば、故障判定部193は、各電流値I1〜I3のいずれかが電流センサ16の測定ばらつき等の電流値を超える場合には、電流センサ16に異常が発生していると判定してもよい。また、例えば、故障判定部193は、各電流値I1〜I3のそれぞれの差分を求め、その差分の値が電流センサ16の測定ばらつきを考慮した値(閾値)を超えた場合には、電流センサ16に異常が発生していると判定してもよい。
上記実施形態において、充電制御部19は、電流値I1〜I3を平均化することにより求めた電流値Isから、各電池セル群10−1〜10−3のSOCを求めてもよい。そして、充電制御部19は、外部充電が終了した後において、各電池セル群10−1〜10−3のSOCに所定範囲以上のばらつきが生じている場合には、電池セル群10−1〜10−3を直列接続から並列接続に切り替えないように制御してもよい。したがって、充電制御部19は、各電池セル群10−1〜10−3のSOCに所定範囲以上のばらつきが生じている場合には、セルバランスを行った後に、直列接続から並列接続に切り替える。これにより、電池セル群10−1〜10−3に突入電流が流れることを抑制することができる。

Claims (5)
- 電池セルが直列に接続された複数の電池セル群と、
前記複数の電池セル群間の電気的な接続を、直列接続又は並列接続に切り替え可能な接続スイッチと、
前記直列接続及び並列接続の双方において各電池セル群に流れる電流を検出する電流センサと、
を備え、
前記電流センサは、前記各電池セル群の正極端子又は負極端子の近傍に設けられていることを特徴とする車両用バッテリ装置。 - 前記電流センサは、前記各電池セル群の正極端子又は負極端子と、前記接続スイッチとの間の電流経路に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用バッテリ装置。
- 前記電流センサは、前記正極端子又は前記負極端子と、前記電流経路が分岐する分岐点との間に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用バッテリ装置。
- 外部から供給される電力を用いて前記各電池セル群を充電する車両用バッテリ装置であって、
前記接続スイッチをオン状態又はオフ状態に制御することで前記複数の電池セル群を直列接続する充電制御部を更に備え、
前記充電制御部は、
前記複数の電池セル群が直列接続した状態において前記各電流センサが検出した電流に基づいて、前記直列接続された各電池セル群に流れる電流を検出する請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の車両用バッテリ装置。 - 前記充電制御部は、
前記複数の電池セル群が直列接続された状態において前記各電流センサが検出した電流を比較することにより、各電流センサの故障の有無を判定する故障判定部を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用バッテリ装置。
