Claims (5)
- 電動機のロータ軸の回転を減速機構とディファレンシャル装置を経て左右の出力軸へと伝達する車両用電動駆動ユニットであって、
前記減速機構を、前記ロータ軸に対して平行に配置された一対のカウンタ軸と、各カウンタ軸にそれぞれ設けられた大小異径の複数の減速ギヤを含んで構成したことを特徴とする車両用電動駆動ユニット。 - 前記減速機構は、前記ロータ軸に設けられて前記減速ギヤの大径側の減速ギヤに噛合するピニオンギヤと、前記ディファレンシャル装置のデフケースに設けられて前記減速ギヤの小径側の減速ギヤに噛合するリングギヤを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用電動駆動ユニット。
- 前記ディファレンシャル装置を、前記ロータ軸に対して同軸で、かつ、一対の前記カウンタ軸の間に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用電動駆動ユニット。
- 一対の前記カウンタ軸を、各軸心が前記ロータ軸の軸心を通る斜めの平面上に位置するよう水平面に対して斜めに配置し、下方に位置する一方のカウンタ軸の上方にオイルタンクを配置したことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の車両用電動駆動ユニット。
- 前記オイルタンクの側面に、前記減速ギヤの大径側の減速ギヤが掻き揚げたオイルを導入するためのオイル導入口を形成し、同オイルタンクの底面に、当該オイルタンクに貯留されたオイルを排出するためのオイル排出口を形成したことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用電動駆動ユニット。
