Abstract
Description
本発明が解決しようとする課題は、低温安定性が良好で、弾性繊維に良好な解舒性及び耐黄変性を付与するとともに、加工時のスカムの発生を抑制できる弾性繊維用処理剤を提供する処にある。
以下、本発明の弾性繊維用処理剤(以下、処理剤という)を具体化した第1実施形態を説明する。本実施形態の処理剤は、平滑剤と有機リン酸エステル塩とを含有する。該有機リン酸エステル塩は、有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩及び有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩を含む。
次に、本発明に係る弾性繊維を具体化した第2実施形態について説明する。本実施形態の弾性繊維は、第1実施形態の処理剤が付着している弾性繊維である。弾性繊維に対する第1実施形態の処理剤(溶媒を含まない)の付着量は、特に制限はないが、本発明の効果をより向上させる観点から0.1〜10質量%の割合で付着していることが好ましい。
(1)上記実施形態では、平滑剤と、有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩及び有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩を含む有機リン酸エステル塩とを含有する処理剤として構成した。したがって、処理剤の低温安定性が良好で、処理された弾性繊維に良好な解舒性及び耐黄変性を付与するとともに、さらには加工時のスカムの発生を抑制できるという効果が生じる。
・本実施形態の処理剤には、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲内において、処理剤の品質保持のための安定化剤や制電剤として、つなぎ剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤等の通常処理剤に用いられる成分をさらに配合してもよい。
各実施例、各比較例に用いた弾性繊維用処理剤は、表1〜3に示される各成分を使用し、下記調製方法により調製した。なお、表1において、平滑剤の種類及び動粘度を示す。表2において、有機リン酸エステル塩の種類、有機リン酸エステル塩を構成するアルコール及び金属の種類、エチレンオキサイド(以下、「EO」という)の付加モル数を示す。表3において、合成繊維用処理剤中における平滑剤及び有機リン酸エステル塩の各成分の種類、各成分の含有割合の合計を100%とした場合における各成分の比率を表3に示す。

を意味する。なお、弾性繊維用処理剤中のナトリウムイオン及びカリウムイオンは、原子吸光分析法により測定した値を示す。
まず、分子量2900のテトラメチレンエーテルグリコール、ビス−(p−イソシアネートフェニル)−メタン、及びエチレンジアミンからなるポリウレタンのN,N−ジメチルアセトアミド溶液(35%)を重合しポリマー溶液(A)とした。
こうして得られた紡糸原液を用いて、公知のスパンデックスで用いられる乾式紡糸方法により、44dtex/3filのマルチフィラメントのポリウレタン系弾性繊維を紡糸した。そして、その糸に対して巻き取り前の延伸ローラーと延伸ローラーの間に位置する給油ローラーから、実施例1〜17、比較例1〜3に示す各処理剤をニートの状態でローラー給油した。以上のようにローラー給油した弾性繊維を、巻き取り速度が600m/分で、長さ58mmの円筒状紙管に、巻き幅38mmを与えるトラバースガイドを介して、サーフェイスドライブの巻取機を用いて巻き取り、乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージ500gを得た。弾性繊維用処理剤の付着量の調節は、給油ローラーの回転数を調整することで何れも5%となるように行った。こうして得られた乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージを用いて、下記の測定及び評価に供した。得られた結果を表3にまとめて示す。
・スカム(スカム発生抑制)
試験区分2で得られた紡糸直後の乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維パッケージをミニチュア整経機に10本仕立て、25℃で65%RHの雰囲気下に糸速度300m/分で1500km巻き取った。このとき、ミニチュア整経機のクシガイドでのスカムの脱落及び蓄積状態を肉眼観察し、次の基準で評価した。その結果を表3に示す。
◎:スカムの付着がほとんどなかった。
○:スカムがやや付着しているが、糸の安定走行に問題はなかった。
×:スカムの付着および蓄積が多く、糸の安定走行に大きな問題があった。
試験区分1で調製した弾性繊維用処理剤を用い5℃で1週間静置して以下の基準で安定性を評価した。その結果を表3に示す。
◎:沈殿、分離が無く、調製時と同様に均一な状態を保っていた。
○:若干の沈殿が生じたが、25℃に5時間静置することで調製時と同様に均一な状態に復元した。
×:沈殿、分離が生じ、25℃に5時間静置しても均一な状態に復元しなかった。
片側に第1駆動ローラーとこれに常時接する第1遊離ローラーとで送り出し部を構成し、また反対側に第2駆動ローラーとこれに常時接する第2遊離ローラーとで巻き取り部を構成して、該送り出し部に対し該巻き取り部を水平方向で20cm離して設置した。第1駆動ローラーに上記で得られた紡糸直後の乾式紡糸ポリウレタン系弾性繊維のパッケージを装着し、糸巻の厚さが2mmになるまで解舒して、第2駆動ローラーに巻き取った。第1駆動ローラーからのポリウレタン系弾性繊維の送り出し速度を50m/分で固定する一方、第2駆動ローラーへのポリウレタン系弾性繊維の巻き取り速度を50m/分より徐々に上げて、ポリウレタン系弾性繊維をパッケージから強制解舒した。この強制解舒時において、送り出し部分と巻き取り部分との間でポリウレタン系弾性繊維の踊りがなくなる時点での巻き取り速度V(m/分)を測定し、下記の数1から解舒性(%)を求め、次の基準で評価した。その結果を表3に示す。
◎:解舒性が120%未満(全く問題なく、安定に解舒できる)。
○:解舒性が120%以上180%未満(糸の引き出しに抵抗があるが、糸切れは無く、安定に解舒できる)。
×:解舒性が180%以上(糸の引き出しに抵抗があり、糸切れもあって、操業に問題がある)。
試験区分2で得られた各処理剤が付着したパッケージ(500g巻き)の端面部分を色彩色差計(MINOLTA製の色彩色差計:CR−300)でb値を測定した後、1週間紫外線照射機により紫外線を照射しながら保管した。この保管後のパッケージについて紫外線照射前に測定した同じ端面部分のb値を上記色彩色差計で測定した。この時の紫外線下で1週間保管前後のb値の差を測定値とした。
◎:b値の差が1未満。
×:b値の差が1以上。
Claims (6)
- 平滑剤と有機リン酸エステル塩とを含有してなる弾性繊維用処理剤であって、
前記有機リン酸エステル塩が、有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩及び有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩を含むことを特徴とする弾性繊維用処理剤。 - 前記有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩を構成するアルカリ金属が、ナトリウム及びカリウムから選ばれる少なくとも一種であり、
前記有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩を構成するアルカリ土類金属がカルシウム及びマグネシウムから選ばれる少なくとも一種であり、
且つ、前記弾性繊維用処理剤中のナトリウムイオン及びカリウムイオンの合計濃度が1000ppm以下である請求項1に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。 - 前記有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩と有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩との質量比が、有機リン酸エステルアルカリ金属塩:有機リン酸エステルアルカリ土類金属塩=0.1:99.9〜30:70である請求項1又は2に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記平滑剤が、25℃の動粘度が5〜150mm2/sのポリジメチルシロキサン及び25℃の動粘度が5〜100mm2/sの鉱物油から選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 前記弾性繊維用処理剤中における前記平滑剤及び前記有機リン酸エステル塩の含有割合の合計を100質量%とすると、前記平滑剤を90.0〜99.9質量%及び前記有機リン酸エステル塩を0.1〜10.0質量%の割合で含有してなる請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の弾性繊維用処理剤が付着していることを特徴とする弾性繊維。
