Abstract
Description
本発明は、養鶏の一般的分野にあり、特に産卵鶏またはレイヤーの給餌に関する。
卵の内部品質は経時的に低下することが、良く知られている。卵白および卵黄の品質属性の損失は、温度および殻を通過する二酸化炭素の移動の関数である。低温は、内部卵質の標準測度であるハウ単位損失速度を低下させ、したがって卵を氷点に近い温度で保存することが推奨されるが、この処置は、実際には常に実行可能とは限らない。二酸化炭素(および水分)損失速度を低下させるために、油の噴霧などの様々な殻処理が利用されている。
1.卵を毎日3〜4回収集する。
2.収集後即座に卵を清浄化して、ケースまたはカートン内への包装前に、13℃または好ましくは10℃で12〜24時間冷却する。
3.卵を相対湿度60〜85%、好ましくは70〜80%に保つ。
4.慎重な取り扱いを選ぶ。
5.予冷した容器のみを使用して、適切な包装を利用する。
6.週2回以上の頻繁な出荷を選ぶ。
7.迅速な冷蔵輸送を利用して、販売店に頻繁に、好ましくは少なくとも週に5回配達する。
8.販売店では、適切に冷却された保持スペースを利用する。
9.7℃〜13℃の家庭用冷蔵庫に卵を入れて、好ましくは全ての卵を1週間以内に使用する。
本発明によると、動物にカンタキサンチンおよび任意選択的に25−OH−D3の有効量を投与することで、卵質、特に家禽卵の鮮度を改善しおよび/または延長し得ることが驚くことに分かった。
明細書および特許請求の範囲全体を通じた用法で、以下の定義が適用される:
「ビタミンD代謝産物」は、例えば、25−ヒドロキシビタミンD3、1,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3または24,25−ジヒドロキシビタミンD3などのビタミンDの任意の代謝産物を意味する。

第1の態様では、産卵鶏の卵質を改善する栄養素としてカンタキサンチンおよび25−OH D3を投与するための、家禽用途に適する1つまたは複数の飼料用組成物が提供される。
産卵鶏飼料で使用されるHyDと組み合わされたCarophyll Redは、卵白の高さ(ハウ単位価)を維持して、卵黄膜強度を増大させる能力のおかげで、卵の鮮度の知覚を増大させ得る。これらは、雌鳥の生殖能力を検証するようにデザインされた試験からの意外な結果であった。
実験では産卵鶏を使用して、それらの生産能力および殻品質に対する、MaxiChick(登録商標)(Carophyll(登録商標)RedおよびHyD(登録商標)の組み合わせ)の食餌への組み入れの効果を試験した。合計240羽のLohmann雌鳥(60週齢)を10回の反復c/uでの3種の処置に分配した。反復は、8羽のニワトリを含有するケージであった。実験的食餌は、大豆および小麦を含有したが、穀物の主要供給源は処置毎に変化した。トウモロコシ(対照)またはソルガム(Sor)のどちらか、またはMaxiChick(登録商標)(MC)添加ソルガムであった。食餌は、等カロリー(2.75 Mcal ME)、等窒素(17.5%粗製タンパク質)、および類似レベルのCa、P、ビタミン、およびミネラルであった。MaxiChickは、1kgの飼料あたり、6mgおよび69mgカンタキサンチン/kg 25・OHD3を提供した。実験は、各28日間の2サイクル継続した。実験期間中、飼料摂取量、卵黄色素形成(DSMYCF)、殻強度、およびハウ単位が測定された。データは分散分析して、チューキー検定によって平均値を比較した(P<.05)。
Claims (8)
- ハウ単位を用いて表される卵質を改善するためのカンタキサンチンおよび少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物の用途。
- 前記ビタミンD代謝産物が、25−ヒドロキシビタミンD3である、請求項1に記載の用途。
- 約2ppm〜100ppm、好ましくは2〜10ppmの量のカンタキサンチンと、任意選択的に約10μg/kg〜約100μg/kgの少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物とをこのような処置を必要とする産卵鶏に投与するステップを含んでなる、ハウ単位を用いて表される卵質を改善する方法。
- 前記ビタミンD代謝産物が、25−ヒドロキシビタミンD3である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- ハウ単位を用いて表される卵質を改善するためのレイヤー飼料で使用するための25−ヒドロキシビタミンD3とカンタキサンチンとを含んでなるプレミックス組成物。
- 雌鳥からの卵のハウ単位価の低下速度が、カンタキサンチンおよび任意選択的に少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物が不在である同一食餌で同一条件下のこのような低下速度と比較して有意に低下するように、約2ppm〜100ppm、好ましくは2〜10ppmのカンタキサンチンと任意選択的に約10μg/kg〜約100μg/kgの少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物とを含有する食餌を産卵鶏に給餌するステップを含んでなる、ハウ単位を用いて表される内部卵質劣化速度を低下させる方法。
- (i)約2ppm〜100ppm、好ましくは2〜10ppmのカンタキサンチンと、任意選択的に約10μg/kg〜約100μg/kgの少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物とを含有する食餌を産卵鶏に給餌するステップと、
(ii)それから卵収穫物を回収し、その中で卵のハウ単位価の低下速度が、カンタキサンチンおよび任意選択的に少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物が不在である同一食餌で同一条件下のこのような低下速度と比較して、有意に低下するステップと
を含んでなる、ハウ単位として表される内部卵質劣化の速度低下がある卵収穫物を得る方法。 - (i)約2ppm〜100ppm、好ましくは2〜10ppmのカンタキサンチンと、任意選択的に約10μg/kg〜約100μg/kgの少なくとも1つのビタミンD代謝産物とを含有する家禽食餌を調製するステップと、
(ii)前記食餌を産卵鶏に給餌するステップと、
