Abstract
Description
ミノキシジル製剤は優れた発毛効果を有するものの、さらに優れたものが求められていた。
従来、ウンデシレン酸トレハロースには育毛効果を有することが報告されているが、ウンデシレン酸の毛成長促進効果は低いことが報告されている(特許文献2)。今までにウンデシレン酸類とミノキシジルとの併用により発毛効果が増強されることは知られていなかった。
すなわち本発明は、
(1)ミノキシジル並びに、ウンデシレン酸、ウンデシレン酸塩、及びウンデシレン酸エステルからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のウンデシレン酸類を組み合わせたことを特徴とする発毛剤、
である。
本発明で配合するミノキシジルの配合量は、発毛効果の点から製剤全体(エアゾール剤のときは原液中)の0.1〜5W/V%(以下「W/V%」は、単に「%」で示すことがある)が好ましい。
本発明で配合するウンデシレン酸類の配合量は、発毛促進効果の点から製剤全体の0.01〜20%が好ましく、0.1〜10%の範囲がより好ましい。
本発明の発毛剤の溶媒としては、エタノール、水またはそれらの混合液が好ましい。この場合の配合量は、製剤全体に対してエタノールは40〜80%程度の範囲、水は5〜30%程度の範囲が好ましい。特にエタノールを配合すると塗布直後のエタノール揮発による良好な使用感が得られることから好ましい。
本発明の発毛剤には、さらに必要に応じ、一般の外用剤に使用される種々の活性成分や補助成分、例えば、賦形剤、血管拡張剤(塩化カルプロニウム、ニコチン酸ベンジル、センブリ抽出液、オタネニンジンエキス、トウガラシチンキなど)、抗ヒスタミン剤(塩酸イソチペンジル、塩酸ジフェンヒドラミンなど)、抗炎症剤(グアイアズレンなど)、角質溶解剤(尿素、サリチル酸など)、殺菌剤(グルコン酸クロルへキシジン、イソプロピルメチルフェノール、第4級アンモニウム塩、ピロクトンオラミン、ヒノキチオール、グリチルレチン酸など)、保湿剤(ヒアルロン酸ナトリウム、コンドロイチン硫酸など)、各種動植物(イチイ、ボタンピ、カンゾウ、オトギリソウ、附子、ビワ、カワラヨモギ、コンフリー、アシタバ、サフラン、サンシシ、ローズマリー、セージ、モッコウ、セイモッコウ、ホップ、プラセンタなど)の抽出物、ビタミン類(酢酸レチノール、塩酸ピリドキシン、アスコルビン酸、硝酸チアミン、シアノコバラミン、ビオチン、ビタミンEアセテート、パントテニールエチルエーテルなど)、抗酸化剤(ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン、ピロ亜硫酸ナトリウム、トコフェロール、エデト酸ナトリウム、アスコルビン酸、イソプロピルガレートなど)、溶解補助剤(アジピン酸ジイソプロピル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、各種植物油、各種動物油、アルキルグリセリルエーテル、炭化水素類など)、代謝賦活剤、ゲル化剤(水溶性高分子など)、多価アルコール類(グリセリン、1,3−ブチレングリコールなど)、粘着剤、香料、清涼化剤(ハッカ油、カンフル、メントールなど)、染料などの通常使用される成分を本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で配合することができる。
これら選択成分の添加量は、特に制約はなく、使用感やミノキシジル、ウンデシレン酸の安定性あるいは溶剤系組成等を考慮しながら実験的に定めることができる。
試験例1
<マウス刈毛モデルにおける発毛作用>
C57BLマウス(雌、7週齢)の背部体毛を刈毛し、刈毛3日後より溶媒(1,3-ブチレングリコール/エタノール/精製水)、ミノキシジル5%(溶媒は同左)、ミノキシジル5%およびウンデシレン酸10%(溶媒は同左)、ウンデシレン酸10%(溶媒は同左)のいずれかを1日1回、1匹あたり0.1mLを、45日間連続塗布した。投与開始日(1日目)、8日目、その後は2日或いは3日毎に刈毛部の発毛状態を以下の発毛スコア基準を用いて採点した。
発毛スコア基準
1 = 刈毛部の5%未満に発毛
2 = 刈毛部の5%以上、30%未満に発毛
3 = 刈毛部の30%以上、60%未満に発毛
4 = 刈毛部の60%以上、90%未満に発毛
5 = 刈毛部の90%以上に発毛
投与開始20日目のスコアを表1に示した。
表中、「*」はp<0.05で、「**」はp<0.01で基剤群に対して有意差あり(Steelの多重比較)、「#」はp<0.05でミノキシジル5%群に対して有意差あり(Studentのt検定)を示す。
この結果から、ミノキシジルとウンデシレン酸類とを組み合わせることによって、ミノキシジルの発毛効果をさらに向上させることができると考えられる。

- ミノキシジル並びに、ウンデシレン酸、ウンデシレン酸塩、及びウンデシレン酸エステルからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のウンデシレン酸類を組み合わせたことを特徴とする発毛剤。
