全ての温度は、°Kである。
耐水性
4mmの湿潤厚さ、100mmの長さ、及び80mmの幅の水系減衰試料をアルミニウムパネル上に引き下げることによって水吸収を評価した。試料を、室温で0〜48時間の所定の時間の間乾燥させ、次いで150℃のオーブン中に30分間置いた。配合中の質量%の水を、ベーキング前後の試料の重量を測定することによって測定した。試料を周囲室温で冷却し、水道水に完全に48時間浸漬した。コーティングのパネル及び外部をそっと拭いて乾燥させた。24時間及び48時間後の水吸収をコーティング質量のパーセントとして報告した。
外観を、以下に定義するように1〜10の尺度で評価した。
10:表面に欠陥なし
8:わずかな隆起、くぼみ、穴/小穴
6:中程度の適度な隆起、くぼみ、穴/小穴
4:かなりの隆起、くぼみ、穴/小穴
2:深刻な隆起、くぼみ、穴/小穴
複合損失係数(CLF)は、振動減衰の尺度である。ASTM e−757に従って、厚さ1.6mm×幅12.7mm×長さ200mmの硬質炭素鋼オーバーストバー上にコーティングを形成することによって、CLFを評価した。200Hzの周波数補間についてCLF曲線を報告した。CLFはカバレッジに依存しているため、コーティングカバレッジと厚さをデータの凡例で報告した。

共重合したホスホエチルメタクリレートを含み、7.6(50%固体)の算出上の酸価を有する80gの水系エマルションポリマーを、0.5gのBYK−093(BYK)、0.32gのBAYFERROX(商標)318M、125gのTITAN(商標)−200、0.3gのEXPANCEL(商標)031WUFX40、及び4gのKOLLOTEX(商標)1500と一緒に、標準オーバーヘッドミキサーを使用して15分間混合した。0.4gのACRYSOL(商標)RM12−Wをさらに混合しながら添加した。
Claims (11)
- 水系減衰組成物であって、
2〜100の算出上の酸価を有する水系エマルションポリマーと、
エマルションポリマー固形分に基づいて0.1%〜50%固形分の酸性基反応性液体化合物及び非酸性基反応性液体化合物からなる群から選択される150℃より高い沸点を有する液体化合物と、固形充填剤と、を含み、
前記水系減衰組成物が、25%〜85%のPVCを有し、前記水系減衰組成物が、6重量%〜25重量%の含水量を有する、水系減衰組成物。 - 前記ポリマーの算出上の酸価が、2〜65である、請求項1に記載の水系減衰組成物。
- 前記水系減衰組成物の前記含水量が、6重量%〜20重量%である、請求項1に記載の水系減衰組成物。
- 前記酸性基反応性液体化合物が、105〜250の算出上のエポキシド当量を有するエポキシ官能性樹脂である、請求項1に記載の水系減衰組成物。
- コーティング基材を提供するための方法であって、
(a)水系減衰組成物であって、
2〜100の算出上の酸価を有する水系エマルションポリマーと、エマルションポリマー固形分に基づいて0.1%〜50%固形分の酸性基反応性液体化合物及び非酸性基反応性液体化合物からなる群から選択される150℃より高い沸点を有する液体化合物と、固形充填剤と、を含み、
前記水系減衰組成物が、25%〜85%のPVCを有し、前記水系減衰組成物が、6重量%〜25重量%の含水量を有する、前記水系減衰組成物を形成することと、
(b)前記水系減衰組成物を基材に適用することと、
(c)前記適用された水系減衰組成物を25℃〜250℃の温度で乾燥させることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記ポリマーの前記酸価が、2〜65である、請求項5に記載のコーティング基材を提供するための方法。
- 前記水系減衰組成物の前記含水量が、6重量%〜25重量%である、請求項5に記載のコーティング基材を提供するための方法。
- 前記酸性基反応性液体化合物が、105〜250の算出上のエポキシド当量を有するエポキシ官能性樹脂である、請求項5に記載のコーティング基材を提供するための方法。
- 請求項5に記載の方法によって形成された、コーティング基材。
- 前記コーティングの48時間の水回収率が、25重量%未満である、請求項9に記載のコーティング基材。
- 前記コーティングの24時間の水回収率が、15重量%未満である、請求項9に記載のコーティング基材。
