Abstract
Description
本出願は、参照により組み込まれる、米国仮特許出願第62/565,469号(2017年9月29日出願)及び同第62/722,790号(2018年8月24日出願)の利益を主張する。
市販されている電子デバイスの種類の数は過去数年間で非常に増加しており、新しいデバイスの導入率は低下する兆候を示していない。タブレット、ラップトップ、ネットブック、デスクトップ、及びオールインワンコンピュータ、スマートフォン、ストレージデバイス、ポータブルメディアプレーヤ、ウェアラブルコンピューティングデバイス、ナビゲーションシステム、モニタ、並びにその他のデバイスが、至るところに存在している。
本発明のこれらの及び他の実施形態では、窓1120をさまざまな材料で形成することができる。例えば、窓1120は、プラスチック、サファイア、又は他の材料で形成することができる。接点1110は、接点210、510、710、又は本発明の実施形態に合致する他の接点と、同じであっても又は類似していてもよい。これらは、同じ又は類似のプロセス及び材料を用いて、製造及びめっきすることができる。接点1110は細長い形状を有するものとして示されているが、これら、及び本明細書に示す他の接点は、図2に示す接点210、図5に示す接点510、及び図7に示す接点710のように、円形又はほぼ円形の形状を有してもよい。
Claims (20)
- 電子デバイスであって、
前記電子デバイスを実質的に収容するデバイスエンクロージャと、
前記デバイスエンクロージャにある開口部と、
前記デバイスエンクロージャの前記開口部にある窓と、
複数の接点であって、前記接点の各々が前記窓の複数の開口部のうちの対応する1つにある、複数の接点と、
前記窓と整列して配置されたフェライトであって、前記複数の接点が前記フェライトと前記窓との間にあるように配置され、かつ部分的に巻線で巻装されている、フェライトと、を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記窓はプラスチック窓である、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記窓はサファイアで形成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記複数の接点及び前記巻線に連結された電子回路を更に備える、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路はシステムインパッケージモジュールを形成する、請求項4に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路は、前記複数の接点を用いて、第2の電子デバイスに電力を供給する、請求項4に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路は、前記複数の接点を用いて、前記第2の電子デバイスと通信する、請求項6に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路は、前記フェライトの周りの前記巻線を用いて、第3の電子デバイスに電力を供給する、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路は、前記フェライトの周りの前記巻線を用いて、前記第3の電子デバイスと通信する、請求項8に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
前記電子デバイスを実質的に収容するデバイスエンクロージャと、
前記デバイスエンクロージャにある開口部と、
前記デバイスエンクロージャの前記開口部と整列して配置されたフェライトと、
前記フェライトの少なくとも一部の周りにある巻線と、
前記デバイスエンクロージャの前記開口部と整列して配置された複数の接点であって、前記複数の接点の各々は前記開口部と前記フェライトとの間にあり、前記複数の接点の各々が前記フェライトの下に延在するテールを有する、複数の接点と、
前記フェライトの下に延在して、前記複数の接点の各々の前記テールに接触するフレキシブル回路基板と、を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記複数の接点の各々の前記テールは直角を形成する、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記フレキシブル回路基板は、前記複数の接点と前記フェライトとの間に延在しない、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記デバイスエンクロージャの前記開口部に窓を更に備える、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記窓はプラスチック窓である、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記窓はサファイアで形成されている、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記複数の接点と前記巻線とに連結された電子回路を更に備える、請求項13に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子回路はシステムインパッケージモジュールを形成する、請求項16に記載の電子デバイス。
- 複数の接点であって、各々が、コネクタ上の対応する接点と結合するための接触面を有する、複数の接点と、
前記複数の接点を支持するハウジングであって、前記複数の接点の周りにある隆起部分と前記複数の接点のうちの対応する接点の周りに各々ある複数の絶縁リングとを含む、ハウジングと、を備え、
前記複数の接点の各々の前記接触面は、対応する絶縁リングの表面と実質的に面一であり、
前記ハウジングの背面は複数の位置合わせ特徴部を備え、それ以外の部分は前記ハウジングの前記背面がフレキシブル回路基板で覆われ得るように実質的に平坦である、接点アセンブリ。 - 前記位置合わせ特徴部は、前記フレキシブル回路基板の開口部に挿入されることになる複数のポストを備える、請求項18に記載の接点アセンブリ。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記背面上に、前記複数の接点の各々につき1つずつの複数の接触部分を更に備える、請求項18に記載の接点アセンブリ。
