Description
1)製品中の化学物質により、相加(中立的)効果が生じるか、
2)製品中の化学物質により、拮抗効果が生じるか、又は、
3)製品中の化学物質により、相乗効果が生じる。
相加効果は、個々の成分と比べて経済的な利点はない。拮抗効果は、負の影響を生じる。相乗効果は、相加効果又は拮抗効果のいずれよりも起こりにくいものの、唯一、正の作用を生じることから、経済的な利点がある。
NH3 + OCl-→ NH2Cl + HO-。
これは、ラシヒヒドラジン合成の最初の工程でもある。この反応は弱アルカリ性の媒体(pH 8.5〜11)中で行われる。この反応にて働く塩素化剤は、次亜塩素酸(HOCl)であり、このHOClは、次亜塩素酸塩のプロトン化により生成させる必要があり、次いでこれがアミノ基に対するヒドロキソの求核置換において反応する。この反応は、pH 8付近で最も速く起こる。pH値が高くなると、次亜塩素酸の濃度は低くなり、pH値が低くなると、アンモニアがプロトン化して、アンモニウムイオンNH4 +が生成し、それ以上反応しなくなる。クロラミン溶液は、真空蒸着、及び水を吸着する炭酸カリウムに水蒸気を通すことにより濃縮することができる。クロラミンをエーテルで抽出することができる。クロラミンガスは、アンモニアガスと塩素ガス(窒素ガスにて希釈)との反応により得ることができる:
2NH3(g) + Cl2(g) ⇔NH2Cl(g) + NH4Cl(s)。
純クロラミンは、塩化カルシウムにフルオロアミンを通すことにより調製することができる:
2NH2F + CaCl2→ 2NH2Cl + CaF2。
方法
栄養ブロス(脱イオン水1リットル当たり2.5 g)を準備し、5 ml量を試験管に分注し、121℃で20分間オートクレーブを行った。殺生物剤を所望の濃度で試験管に加えた後、100マイクロリットルのシュードモナス・エルギノーサ又はエンテロバクター・アエロゲネスの細胞の24時間培養懸濁液を、最終数がおよそ106 cfu/mlとなるように、それぞれ試験管に加え、指定の接触時間で37℃にてインキュベートした。

QA/QaとQB/Qbとの合計が1を超える場合、拮抗作用が示される。合計が1に等しい場合、相加作用が示される。合計が1未満の場合、相乗作用が存在する。
実施例1では、上記の方法を用いて、成分Aと称される過酢酸と、成分Bと称されるモノクロラミン(MCA)との組合せを、エンテロバクター・アエロゲネス細菌に対して、各種比率及び濃度範囲にて一連の試験において試験することにより、相乗効果が実証された。接触時間は15時間とした。MCAは、Oxamine6150又はBusan 1215(全て、テネシー州メンフィスのBuckmanLaboratories製)の形態の硫酸アンモニウムと、酸化剤Bulab 6004(Buckman Laboratories製)とを合わせることで得た。過酢酸は、Sigma-Aldrich製のものとし(希酢酸中、32 wt.%)、これを所望の濃度範囲まで脱イオン水で希釈した後、試験系に添加した。
実施例2では、上記の方法を用いて、成分Aと称される過酢酸と、成分Bと称されるモノクロラミン(MCA)との組合せを、シュードモナス・エルギノーサ細菌に対して、各種比率及び濃度範囲にて一連の試験において試験することにより、相乗効果が実証された。接触時間は24時間とした。MCA及び過酢酸は、実施例1と同じようにして得た。
1. (a)モノクロラミンと、(b)少なくとも1つの過酸とを含む水性溶液であって、成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに殺微生物的に効果のある総量で存在する、水性溶液。
2. 水性溶液のpHが約5〜約12である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
3. 少なくとも1つの塩基を更に含む、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
4. pH制御剤が、水性溶液のpHが約5〜約12になるような濃度で存在する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
5. 成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに相乗的に殺微生物効果のある総量で存在する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
6. 過酸が過酢酸である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
7. モノクロラミンが、0.1 ppm〜50 ppmの濃度で水性溶液中に存在し、少なくとも1つの過酸が、5 ppm〜2000 ppmの濃度で水性溶液中に存在する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。
8. pHが7〜10である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の水性溶液。

13. 微生物による攻撃を受けやすい製品、材料、又は媒体中で又はそれらの上で少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御する方法であって、該方法は、製品、材料、又は媒体を、(a)モノクロラミンと、(b)少なくとも1つの過酸とを含む水性溶液で処理することを含み、成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに殺微生物的に効果のある総量で存在する、方法。
14. 水性溶液、又は製品、材料、若しくは媒体、又はその両方のpHが約5〜約12である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
15. 過酸が過酢酸である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
16. モノクロラミンが、0.1 ppm〜50 ppmの濃度で水性溶液中に存在し、少なくとも1つの過酸が、5 ppm〜2000 ppmの濃度で水性溶液中に存在する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
17. pHが7〜10である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
18. 水性溶液が少なくとも1つの塩基を更に含む、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
19. 塩基が水酸化ナトリウムを含む、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
20. 塩基が、水性溶液のpHが約5〜約12になるような濃度で存在する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。

25. 上記モノクロラミンを上記媒体中に、又は上記製品若しくは材料の存在下においてin-situで生成する、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
26. 微生物が細菌である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
27. 材料又は媒体が、木材パルプ又は紙、木片、材木、塗料、皮革、接着剤、コーティング剤、獣皮、タンニン液、製紙工場用水、繊維ガラス、乳加工品、鶏肉加工品、食肉包装施設、食肉加工品、金属加工液、石油化学製品、医薬製剤、冷却水、レクリエーション用の水、染料、クレイ、鉱物スラリー、カチオン界面活性剤、カチオン界面活性剤を含む製剤、流入水、廃水、低温殺菌器、レトルト調理器、化粧品製剤、トイレタリー製剤、布地、地質採掘潤滑油、又は作物若しくは種子保護のための農薬組成物である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
28. 材料又は媒体が、固体、分散液、エマルション、又は溶液の形態である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。

33. 上記製品が食料品である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
34. a)及びb)を、上記製品、材料、又は媒体に別々に施す、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
35. a)と少なくとも1つの塩基とを水性液中にて合わせた後に、該水性液を上記製品、材料、又は媒体に添加し、b)は、添加の前に該水性液に更に添加するか、又は上記製品、材料、若しくは媒体に別々に施す、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
36. 上記材料又は媒体が、食肉、野菜、又は果物の調製又は加工又は包装に用いられる表面、装置、及び/又は機械である、上記又は下記の実施形態/特徴/態様のいずれかに記載の方法。
Claims (36)
- (a)モノクロラミンと、(b)少なくとも1つの過酸とを含む水性溶液であって、成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに殺微生物的に効果のある総量で存在する、水性溶液。
- 前記水性溶液のpHが約5〜約12である、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- 少なくとも1つの塩基を更に含む、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- 少なくとも1つのpH制御剤が、前記水性溶液のpHが約5〜約12になるような濃度で存在する、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- 成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに相乗的に殺微生物効果のある総量で存在する、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記過酸が過酢酸である、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記モノクロラミンが、0.1 ppm〜50 ppmの濃度で前記水性溶液中に存在し、前記少なくとも1つの過酸が、5 ppm〜2000ppmの濃度で前記水性溶液中に存在する、請求項1に記載の水性溶液。
- pHが7〜10である、請求項2に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記塩基が水酸化ナトリウムを含む、請求項3に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記塩基が、前記水性溶液のpHが5〜12になるような濃度で存在する、請求項3に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記塩基が、前記水性溶液のpHが7〜10になるような濃度で存在する、請求項3に記載の水性溶液。
- 前記pH制御剤が少なくとも1つの塩基又は少なくとも1つの酸である、請求項4に記載の水性溶液。
- 微生物による攻撃を受けやすい製品、材料、又は媒体中で又はそれらの上で少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御する方法であって、該方法は、前記製品、材料、又は媒体を、(a)モノクロラミンと、(b)少なくとも1つの過酸とを含む水性溶液で処理することを含み、成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに殺微生物的に効果のある総量で存在する、方法。
- 前記水性溶液、又は前記製品、材料、若しくは媒体、又はその両方のpHが5〜12である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記過酸が過酢酸である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記モノクロラミンが、0.1 ppm〜50 ppmの濃度で前記水性溶液中に存在し、前記少なくとも1つの過酸が、5 ppm〜2000ppmの濃度で前記水性溶液中に存在する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- pHが7〜10である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記水性溶液が少なくとも1つの塩基を更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記塩基が水酸化ナトリウムを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記塩基が、前記水性溶液のpHが5〜12になるような濃度で存在する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記塩基が、前記水性溶液のpHが7〜10になるような濃度で存在する、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのpH制御剤が、前記水性溶液のpHが5〜12になるような濃度で存在する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 成分(a)及び(b)が、少なくとも1つの微生物の生育を制御するのに相乗的に殺微生物効果のある総量で存在する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 成分a)と少なくとも1つの塩基とを水性液中にて合わせた後に、該水性液を前記製品、材料、又は媒体に添加し、成分b)は、前記添加の前に該水性液に更に添加するか、又は前記製品、材料、若しくは媒体に別々に施す、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記モノクロラミンを前記媒体中に、又は前記製品若しくは材料の存在下においてin-situで生成する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記微生物が細菌である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記材料又は媒体が、木材パルプ又は紙、木片、材木、塗料、皮革、接着剤、コーティング剤、獣皮、タンニン液、製紙工場用水、繊維ガラス、乳加工品、鶏肉加工品、食肉包装施設、食肉加工品、金属加工液、石油化学製品、医薬製剤、冷却水、レクリエーション用の水、染料、クレイ、鉱物スラリー、カチオン界面活性剤、カチオン界面活性剤を含む製剤、流入水、廃水、低温殺菌器、レトルト調理器、化粧品製剤、トイレタリー製剤、布地、地質採掘潤滑油、又は作物若しくは種子保護のための農薬組成物である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記材料又は媒体が、固体、分散液、エマルション、又は溶液の形態である、請求項13に記載の方法。

- 成分a)及びb)を、前記製品、材料、又は媒体に別々に施す、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 成分a)と少なくとも1つの塩基とを水性液中にて合わせた後に、該水性液を前記製品、材料、又は媒体に添加し、成分b)は、前記添加の前に該水性液に更に添加するか、又は前記製品、材料、若しくは媒体に別々に施す、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記材料又は媒体が、食肉、野菜、又は果物の調製又は加工又は包装に用いられる表面、装置、及び/又は機械である、請求項29に記載の方法。
