Abstract
Description
薬物送達デバイスに解放可能に固定されたキャップと;
消毒スワブ、および使用者が握持可能な部分を含み、使用者がニードルアセンブリに対して物理的に動かすように構成された阻止部材とを含み、
ここで、ニードルアセンブリは、
初期位置では、阻止部材が、キャップが薬物送達デバイスから取り外されるのを阻止し;
阻止部材が初期位置から動くことによって、消毒スワブが、薬物送達デバイス内に保たれたカートリッジのセプタムと接触する
ように構成される、ニードルアセンブリを提供する。
場合により薬剤を含む薬剤カートリッジを収容する薬物送達デバイスと;
上記のようなニードルアセンブリを含む医療装置を提供する。
使用者が、キャップが薬物送達デバイスから取り外されるのを阻止部材が阻止する初期位置から、阻止部材がキャップを阻止しない位置に、阻止部材を動かし、この動きによって、阻止部材の一部を形成する消毒スワブが、薬物送達デバイス内で保たれたカートリッジのセプタムと接触することを含む方法を提供する。
Claims (15)
- 薬物送達デバイスと共に使用するためのニードルアセンブリであって:
該薬物送達デバイスに解放可能に固定されたキャップと;
消毒スワブ、および使用者が握持可能な部分を含み、使用者がニードルアセンブリに対して物理的に動かすように構成された阻止部材とを含み、
ここで、ニードルアセンブリは、
初期位置では、阻止部材が、キャップが薬物送達デバイスから取り外されるのを阻止し;
阻止部材が初期位置から動くことによって、消毒スワブが、薬物送達デバイス内に保たれたカートリッジのセプタムと接触する
ように構成される、前記ニードルアセンブリ。 - 阻止部材は、消毒スワブを覆う取り外し可能な滅菌封止部を含む、請求項1に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- 滅菌封止部は、阻止部材を動かす前に使用者が物理的に動かすように構成される、請求項2に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- 滅菌封止部は、阻止部材の取り外しという行為によって物理的に動かされるように構成される、請求項2に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- 滅菌封止部は、阻止部材が取り外されるとき、滅菌封止部の消毒スワブからの取り外しを引き起こすように、一端においてキャップの外側本体に固定される、請求項4に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- キャップは、初期位置にあるとき阻止部材が通過し占有するように構成される対向するアパーチャを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- ニードルアセンブリは、ニードルホルダとスリーブとをさらに含み、ニードルホルダは、スリーブ内で軸方向に動くように構成され、スリーブはキャップ内で保たれる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- スリーブは、ニードルホルダを第1の位置に保つように構成された1つまたはそれ以上の弾性的に変形可能なクリップを含み、場合により、キャップは、キャップが固定位置にある間、クリップが変形するのを防止する、請求項7に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- ニードルアセンブリは、スリーブおよびニードルホルダを離れるように付勢するように構成された予め応力が加えられた弾性部材をさらに含む、請求項7または8に記載のニードルアセンブリ。

- キャップの係合機能は、薬物送達デバイスへのねじ連結を含み、少なくとも3回の完全な回転が、キャップを固定位置から中間位置に動かすために必要とされる、請求項10に記載のニードルアセンブリ。
- キャップは、中間位置に到達したときニードルアセンブリおよび薬物送達デバイスから取り外すことができる、請求項10または11に記載のニードルアセンブリ。

使用者が、キャップが薬物送達デバイスから取り外されるのを阻止部材が阻止する初期位置から、阻止部材がキャップを阻止しない位置に、阻止部材を動かし、この動きによって、阻止部材の一部を形成する消毒スワブが、薬物送達デバイス内で保たれたカートリッジのセプタムと接触すること
