- 薬剤注射デバイスであって:
貫通可能バリアによって封止された薬剤カートリッジを受けるように構成された本体と、
針を保持するニードルホルダと、
該ニードルホルダの少なくとも一部分と針とのまわりに配置され、かつ該本体に対して軸方向に可動になるように配置されたニードルスリーブと;
ニードルホルダおよびニードルスリーブに連結され、本体に対し該デバイスの主軸に沿って軸方向に可動であるリテーナとを含み;
ここで、リテーナは、ニードルスリーブおよびリテーナが所定の距離だけ本体の近位端に向かって変位したときに、ニードルホルダおよび針が軸方向に本体の近位端に向かって変位しリテーナからデカップリングするようにニードルホルダに連結され;
ニードルスリーブは、該ニードルスリーブが近位方向に所定の距離を超えて軸方向に変位したときにニードルホルダから係合解除するように構成される、前記薬剤注射デバイス。 - ニードルホルダは、本体が受ける薬剤カートリッジとドッキングするように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

- ニードルホルダは、該ニードルホルダが薬剤カートリッジとドッキングした後にニードルホルダおよび針が薬剤カートリッジに対して軸方向に変位することを防止するように構成されたリップをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 本体はスロット付き傾斜部を含み、リテーナは1つまたはそれ以上の径方向部材を含み、1つまたはそれ以上の径方向部材がスロット付き傾斜部の上を軸方向に動くことにより径方向部材の外向き径方向運動が生じ、それによってリテーナがニードルホルダから係合解除することになる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。

- リテーナは、所定の距離だけ軸方向に変位した後に2つの部材に分離するようにそれぞれ構成された1つまたはそれ以上の径方向部材を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 薬剤カートリッジを含み、ここで、針は、ニードルホルダ変位部材が所定の距離だけ近位方向に変位したときに薬剤カートリッジのバリアを貫通する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 薬剤が含まれる薬剤カートリッジを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 自動注射デバイスである、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
