Raは、直鎖又は分岐C(1−24)アルキル基であり、
Rbは、5、6又は10員環系を含む、置換されていてもよい炭素環式及び複素環式基等の芳香族基であり、単結合又は1〜8個の炭素原子を有する直鎖又は分岐アルキル残基等のスペーサー単位によりSi原子に結合され、
R1及びR2は、互いに独立して直鎖又は分岐C(1−6)アルキル基であり、
X1及びX2は、互いに独立して、ハロゲン又はアルコキシ基等の加水分解性基であり、
n、mは、互いに独立して0又は1であり、
有機ケイ素化合物の重合時における、水とシランとのモル比は、1:100〜15:1の範囲、好ましくは1:10〜10:1の範囲及び/又は相対湿度は、3〜85%の範囲、好ましくは5〜80%の範囲である。

X1及びX2は、互いに独立してハロゲン又はアルコキシ基等の加水分解性基であり、
n、mは、互いに独立して0又は1であり、
有機ケイ素化合物の重合時における、水とシランとのモル比は、1:100〜15:1の範囲、好ましくは1:10〜10:1の範囲及び/又は相対湿度は、3〜85%の範囲、好ましくは5〜80%の範囲である。
ISO4793によるPx=0、1、2、3及び4の種々の空隙率を有する多孔性ガラスフィルターを、初めに1MのKOHで15分間洗浄してオーブンで乾燥し、次いで、1atm、25℃に制御された雰囲気の反応室内に置き、1時間で相対湿度36%に平衡化した。平衡化完了後、1.5mLのエチルトリクロロシランを、ゴムパッキンを通して反応室内に挿入し、一晩、多孔性ガラスフィルター上で重合させ、その後コーティングした多孔性ガラスフィルターをさらに200℃で4時間アニールした。図1でわかるとおり、コーティングした多孔性ガラスフィルターのSEM検査により、多孔性ガラスフィルターの外表面及び多孔性ガラスフィルターの内部ボイド中にも繊維状構造の存在を確認した。
第1の水/油乳濁液は、1体積部の水を9体積部の油と混合し、続けて、不透明液体を形成するまで前記混合物を超音波処理することにより調製した。第2の水/油界面活性剤安定化乳濁液を、1Lの水、1mLの油及び0.2gのSpan(登録商標)80を混合することにより形成した。乳濁液内の液滴の大きさを光学顕微鏡法により定量化し、3〜35μmの直径を有することが判明した。
フィルター膜の内部及び外表面のポリシロキサンナノ粒子を少なくとも部分的に酸化するために、上記に記載されたとおり得られたフィルター膜を、空気中で300℃に2時間加熱した。次いで、酸化したフィルター膜を、N−(3−トリメトキシシリルプロピル)ジエチレントリアミン(0.5mL)の20mLヘキサン混合物に浸漬し、アミノ基を有する部分をポリシロキサンナノ粒子上で約8時間グラフトし、無水ヘキサン及びメタノール中で洗浄し、オーブンで乾燥した。フィルター膜上に固定されたアミノ基の量は、酸交換容量実験により測定したところ、47μmol/gであった。Knoevenagel反応実験は、1.28gのN−(3−トリメトキシシリルプロピル)ジエチレントリアミン官能基化フィルター膜を1mmolの4−フルオロベンズアルデヒド及び1mmolのシアノ酢酸エチルに無水エタノール中で2時間、還流下で接触させることにより行った。次いで、官能基化フィルター膜を取り出し、溶媒で洗浄したが、溶媒が反応混合物と結合したので溶媒を蒸発させた。残留生成物を収率99%で得て、図2に示すとおり、1H−NMR分光法により同定した。

Claims (15)
- 流体又は流体混合物を処理するための熱再生性材料であって、内部にボイドセルが形成されている連続的な又は不連続な材料マトリックスを含み、前記ボイドセルの少なくとも内部表面に有機ケイ素化合物重合体のナノ粒子が配置され、前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体は式Iの有機ケイ素化合物、及び任意選択により、少なくとも式IIの有機ケイ素化合物の重合によって得られ、

前記有機ケイ素化合物の前記重合時における、水とシランとのモル比は、1:100〜15:1の範囲、好ましくは1:10〜10:1の範囲及び/又は相対湿度は3〜85%の範囲であることを特徴とする材料。 - 空隙率Φ=1−θ/θ0が0.5〜0.999の範囲であり及び/又は内部に形成されているボイドセルの直径が5μm〜10cm、好ましくは15μm〜1000μmもしくは1000μm〜1cmのサイズである、請求項1に記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 前記ボイドセルが、開いている又は閉じているボイドセルであり、及び好ましくは開いているボイドセルである、請求項1又は2に記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体のナノ粒子が、流体又は流体混合物中で所定の化学反応に対し触媒活性を有する化学的な部分をさらに含むか、もしくは前記触媒活性を有する化学的な部分が前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体のナノ粒子に付着されているか、又は前記流体又は流体混合物中で所定の化学反応に対し触媒活性を有するナノ粒子をさらに含む、もしくは前記触媒活性を有するナノ粒子が前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体のナノ粒子に付着されている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 前記材料マトリックスが、石英ガラス又はホウケイ酸ガラス等のガラス、チタン、バナジウム、クロム、マンガン、鉄、コバルト、ニッケル、銅又は亜鉛等の遷移金属;アルミニウム、アルミナ、べリリア、セリア、ジルコニア、炭化ケイ素、炭化ホウ素、炭化チタン、炭化タングステン、並びに窒化ホウ素もしくは窒化ケイ素、ホウ化オスミウム及びホウ化タングステン等の工業用セラミック;フッ素ポリマー、ポリオレフィン、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリスルホン、ポリアセタール、ポリエーテル等のポリマー;NBR、FKM、ブチルゴム、網状ポリオレフィンゴム、シリコーン等の熱硬化性もしくは熱可塑性エラストマーを含むか、又はこれらからなり、そして好ましくは、金属、ガラス、工業用セラミックもしくはフッ素ポリマーの焼結粒子を含むか、又は前記金属、ガラス、工業用セラミックもしくはフッ素ポリマーの焼結粒子からなる、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 前記ボイドセルの少なくとも内部表面上に配置されている前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体のナノ粒子が、共有結合的に、静電的に又はファン・デル・ワールス相互作用を介する、のいずれかにより前記材料マトリックスに結合している、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 前記有機ケイ素化合物重合体が直径0.5nm〜100μm及び長さ0.5nm及び500μmのナノ繊維からなる、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の流体又は流体混合物を処理するための材料。
- 処理される流体又は流体混合物の少なくとも一部を、処理される流体又は流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画から、請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含むか、又は前記材料からなる膜を通って、処理された流体又は流体混合物を受け取るための第2の区画まで通過させる工程を含む、流体又は流体混合物を処理するための方法。
- 請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含むか、又は前記材料からなる膜を備えた、流体又は流体混合物を処理するための装置であって、処理される流体又は流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画及び処理された流体を受け取るための第2の区画を含み、前記第1及び第2の区画は、前記膜を通して互いに流体接続され、並びに前記装置が任意選択により、さらに、処理される前記流体又は流体混合物を、前記膜を通して能動的に送出するように構成されている装置。
- 1以上の反応物を含む前記流体又は流体混合物の少なくとも一部を、前記1以上の反応物を含む前記流体又は流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画から、請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含むか、又は前記材料からなる膜を通って、1以上の生成物を含む流体を受け取るための第2の区画まで通過させる工程を含む、前記流体又は流体混合物中で所定の化学反応を触媒する方法。
- 請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含む、又は前記材料からなる膜を備えた、1以上の反応物を含む流体又は流体混合物中で所定の化学反応を実行するための装置であって、前記装置は、前記1以上の反応物を含む前記流体又は流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画及び1以上の生成物を含む流体を受け取るための第2の区画を含み、前記第1及び第2の区画は、前記膜を通して互いに流体接続され、並びに任意選択により、前記装置がさらに、処理される前記流体混合物を、前記膜を通して能動的に送出するように構成されている装置。
- 1以上の反応物を含む流体又は流体混合物中で所定の化学反応の触媒反応における請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料の使用。
- 多相、好ましくは二相の流体混合物を分離するための方法であって、分離される前記多相の流体混合物の少なくとも一部を、分離される前記多相流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画から、請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含むか、又は前記材料からなる膜を通って、流体を受け取るための第2の区画まで通過させる工程を含む方法。
- 請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料を含むか、又は前記材料からなる膜を備えた、多相、好ましくは二相の流体混合物を分離するための装置であって、前記装置は、分離される前記流体混合物を受け取るための第1の区画及び流体を受け取るための第2の区画を含み、前記第1及び第2の区画は、前記膜を通して互いに流体接続され、並びに前記装置が任意選択により、さらに、処理される前記流体混合物を、前記膜を通して能動的に送出するように構成されている装置。
- 多相、好ましくは二相の流体混合物の分離における請求項1から7いずれかに記載の材料の使用であって、より好ましくは、前記流体混合物が1以上の有機化合物及び水を含み、前記1以上の有機化合物は水と混和せず、並びに石油もしくは機関燃料等の炭化水素、又はジエチルエーテルもしくは酢酸エチル等の有機溶媒から選択されることを特徴とする使用。
