図2Aに示すように、長手方向軸L1に沿って整列した連続する移行領域140Lは、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L6だけ互いに離間し、及び/又は長手方向軸L2に沿って整列した連続する移行領域140Rは、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L6だけ互いに離間している。同様に、図3Aに示すように、長手方向軸L3に沿って整列した連続する移行領域240は、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L7だけ互いに離間し、及び/又は長手方向軸L4に沿って整列したる連続する移行領域240は、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L7だけ互いに離間している。
図2Cに示すように、熱伝達シート100の移行領域140L及び/又は140Rは、0.25〜2.5インチの長手方向距離L5を有する。図3Bに示すように、熱伝達シート200の移行領域240は、0.25〜2.5インチの長手方向距離L5を有する。
図2Aに示すように、隣接し合うノッチ構成110は、熱伝達シート100の長手方向軸Lに垂直に測定される方向に、1.25〜6インチの距離L8だけ互いに離間している。図3Aに示すように、隣接し合うノッチ構成210は、熱伝達シート200の長手方向軸Lに垂直に測定される方向に、1.25〜6インチの距離L8だけ互いに離間している。
図2Aに示すように、ノッチ構成110は、連続する移行領域140L又は140Rの間の長手方向距離L6とノッチ構成110の高さH2(熱伝達シートの厚さを含めない)との比を5:1〜20:1と定める。ノッチ構成210は、連続する移行領域240の間の長手方向距離L7とノッチ構成210の高さH2(熱伝達シートの厚さを含めない)との比を5:1〜20:1と定める。
図2Aに示すように、長手方向軸L1に沿って整列した連続する移行領域140Lは、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L6だけ互いに離間し、及び/又は長手方向軸L2に沿って整列した連続する移行領域140Rは、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L6だけ互いに離間している。同様に、図3Aに示すように、長手方向軸L3に沿って整列した連続する移行領域240は、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L7だけ互いに離間し、及び/又は長手方向軸L4に沿って整列したる連続する移行領域240は、2〜8インチの長手方向距離L7だけ互いに離間している。
図2Cに示すように、熱伝達シート100の移行領域140L及び/又は140Rは、0.25〜2.5インチの長手方向距離L5を有する。図3Bに示すように、熱伝達シート200の移行領域240は、0.25〜2.5インチの長手方向距離L5を有する。
図2Aに示すように、隣接し合うノッチ構成110は、熱伝達シート100の長手方向軸Lに垂直に測定される方向に、1.25〜6インチの距離L8だけ互いに離間している。図3Aに示すように、隣接し合うノッチ構成210は、熱伝達シート200の長手方向軸Lに垂直に測定される方向に、1.25〜6インチの距離L8だけ互いに離間している。
図2Aに示すように、ノッチ構成110は、連続する移行領域140L又は140Rの間の長手方向距離L6とノッチ構成110の高さH2(熱伝達シートの厚さを含めない)との比を5:1〜20:1と定める。ノッチ構成210は、連続する移行領域240の間の長手方向距離L7とノッチ構成210の高さH2(熱伝達シートの厚さを含めない)との比を5:1〜20:1と定める。
Claims (14)
- 回転再生式熱交換器用の熱伝達シートであって、前記熱伝達シートが、
熱伝達面の複数の列であって、前記複数の列のそれぞれが、所期の流れの方向に平行に前記熱伝達シートの第1の端部と第2の端部との間に延びる長手方向軸と整列し、前記熱伝達面が前記熱伝達シートの中心面に対して第1の高さを有する、熱伝達面の複数の列、及び
前記熱伝達シートを互いに離間させるための少なくとも1つのノッチ構成であって、隣接し合う前記熱伝達面の前記複数の列の間に配置された、少なくとも1つのノッチ構成を備え、
前記ノッチ構成が、
前記中心面から第1の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第1のローブ、及び
前記中心面から前記第1の方向と反対の第2の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第2のローブを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブの一方又は両方が、前記中心面に対して第2の高さを有し、前記第2の高さが前記第1の高さよりも大きく、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、互いに接続され、共通流路内にある、回転再生式熱交換器用の熱伝達シート。 - 前記熱伝達面が、前記長手方向軸から角度オフセットした波形面を備える、請求項1に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブと前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブとを接続する移行領域によって画定される流れ変更構成をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記移行領域が弓形形状を備える、請求項3に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記移行領域が平坦部を備える、請求項3に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記移行領域が前記中心面に平行な平坦部を備える、請求項3に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記移行領域が流れよどみ軽減経路を備える、請求項3に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、前記長手方向軸に平行な軸に沿って互いに同軸である、請求項1に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、前記長手方向軸を横切る方向に互いに隣接する、請求項1に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブのうちの少なくとも1つ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが互いにオフセットした、請求項1に記載の熱伝達シート。
- 回転再生式熱交換器用の熱伝達アセンブリであって、前記熱伝達アセンブリが、
互いに積層された少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートを備え、
前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートのそれぞれが、
熱伝達面の複数の列であって、前記複数の列のそれぞれが、前記熱伝達アセンブリを通る所期の流れの方向に平行に前記熱伝達アセンブリの第1の端部と第2の端部との間に延びる長手方向軸と整列し、前記熱伝達面が前記熱伝達シートの中心面に対して第1の高さを有する、熱伝達面の複数の列、及び
前記熱伝達シートを互いに離間させるための少なくとも1つのノッチ構成であって、隣接し合う前記熱伝達面の前記複数の列の間に配置された、少なくとも1つのノッチ構成を備え、
前記ノッチ構成が、
前記中心面から第1の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第1のローブ、及び
前記中心面から前記第1の方向と反対の第2の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第2のローブを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、互いに接続され、共通流路内にあり、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブの一方又は両方が、前記中心面に対して第2の高さを有し、前記第2の高さが前記第1の高さよりも大きく、
前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートのうちの1つ目の前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブが、前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートのうちの2つ目の前記熱伝達面と係合し、前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートのうちの前記2つ目の前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートのうちの前記1つ目の前記熱伝達面と係合して、前記少なくとも2つの熱伝達シートの間に流路を画定し、前記流路が前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間に延びる、回転再生式熱交換器用の熱伝達アセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブと前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブとを接続する移行領域によって画定される流れ変更構成をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の熱伝達アセンブリ。

少なくとも1つの第1の熱伝達シートであって、
前記第1の熱伝達シートに沿って延び、前記積層体を通る流れの方向に対して第1の角度に向けられた第1の波形面と、
前記第1の熱伝達シートに沿って延び、前記積層体を通る前記流れの方向に対して第2の角度に向けられた第2の波形面であって、前記第1の角度及び前記第2の角度が異なる、第2の波形面とを備える、少なくとも1つの第1の熱伝達シート、及び
少なくとも1つの第2の熱伝達シートであって、所期の流れの方向に平行に前記少なくとも1つの第2の熱伝達シートの第1の端部と第2の端部との間に延びる長手方向軸に沿って延びる、前記少なくとも1つの第1の熱伝達シートを前記少なくとも1つの第2の熱伝達シートの隣接する1つから離間させるための複数のノッチ構成を画定する、少なくとも1つの第2の熱伝達シートを備え、
前記少なくとも1つのノッチ構成が、
前記少なくとも1つの第2の熱伝達シートの中心面から第1の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第1のローブ、及び
前記中心面から前記第1の方向と反対の第2の方向に離れて延びる少なくとも1つの第2のローブを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブ及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のローブが、互いに接続され、共通流路内にあり、
前記少なくとも1つの第1のローブが、前記第1の波形面及び前記第2の波形面のうちの少なくとも1つの一部と係合し、
