例2(本発明によらない)
触媒を調製するために、6mgのビス(インデニル)ジルコニウムジクロライドを、20cm3の、トルエン含有メチルアルミノキサン溶液(27ミリモルのAlに相当)中に溶解し、そして、15分間放置することによってそのメチルアルミノキサンと反応させた。並行して、乾燥窒素パージした16dm3の容器に4kgのプロパンを充填し、70℃に調温した。この温度で、0.15バールの水素及び30cm3のトルエンのメチルアルミノキサン溶液を加圧下で加え、そしてその混合物(Ansatz)を100rpmで撹拌した。その圧力をエチレンで補充して31バールの全圧とし、触媒を、圧力ロックを介して添加することにより250rpmで重合を開始した。重合温度を、70℃に冷却することによって制御し、全圧をエチレンの添加によって一定に保った。1時間の重合後、イソプロパノールの添加により反応を停止させ、反応器をアンロックして開放した。得られたポリエチレンワックスの物理的性質を表1に示す。
例2について記載したのと同様の方法で製造を実施した。溶融粘度は水素濃度を徐々に高めて調整した。
本発明による例7からの微粒子化ワックスを、それぞれの印刷インキ系中に分散させ、適用技術的に異なる印刷技術で試験した。
ディゾルバーにより、微粒子化物を、0.5%及び0.8%の割合で、水性フレキソ印刷インキ中に激しく撹拌して分散させ、標準に従って試験した。比較例として、その用途に典型的な二種の微粒子化物、Sasol社のProdukt Spray 30(フィッシャー・トロプシュパラフィン、d50=6μm)及びClariant社のCeridust(登録商標)3610(微粒子化ポリエチレンワックス、d50=5.5μm)を使用した。
微粒子化物を、ディゾルバーを用いて強力に攪拌しながら、1%の割合で、グラビアインキ中に分散させ、標準に従って試験した。比較例として、該用途に典型的な二種の微粒子化物、Sasol社のProdukt Spray 30(d50=6μm)及びClariant社のCeridust3610(d50=5.5μm)を使用した。
ディソルバーを用いて激しく撹拌しながら、オフセット印刷インキ(Novaboard cyan 4 C 86、K+E印刷インキ)に1.5%及び3%の割合で微粒子化物を分散し、標準に従って試験した。比較例として、該用途に典型的な二種の微粒子化物、Sasol社のProdukt Spray 30(d50=6μm)及びClariant社のCeridust3610(d50=5.5μm)を使用した。

- −113〜128℃の滴点、
−100〜123℃の融点、
−25℃で0.93〜0.97g/cm3の密度、
−210〜270J/gの融解熱
によって特徴付けられる、請求項1に記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー。 - ≦15μmの平均粒径d50を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー。
- 酸素含有基の含有量及びそれの結果としての0.5〜100mgKOH/gの範囲の酸価によって特徴付けられる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー。
- 140℃で5〜60mPa・sの溶融粘度を有するポリエチレンホモポリマーを含む、≦15μmの平均粒径d50を有する、ワックス微粒状物。
- 印刷インキのための添加成分としての、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー又はワックス微粒状物の使用。
- 塗料(Lacke)のための添加成分としての、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー又はワックス微粒状物の使用。
- ホットメルト接着剤の成分としての、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー又はワックス微粒状物の使用。
- フォトトナーのための成分としての、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー又はワックス微粒状物の使用。
- 顔料マスターバッチのための成分としての、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載のポリエチレンホモポリマー又はワックス微粒状物の使用。
