Abstract
Description
供与体がオプションとして置換された芳香族ポリカルボン酸、特にフタレートのアルキル及びアリールエステルに属する場合に、Mg/Tiモル比は13以上、好ましくは14〜40の範囲、より好ましくは15〜40である。それに対応して、Mg/供与体モル比は16より大きく、より好ましくは17より大きく、通常は18〜50の範囲である。
供与体が式(I)のジエーテルに属する場合に、Mg/Tiモル比は、6より大きく、好ましくは7より大きく、Mg/供与体のモル比は、典型的には9〜20、好ましくは10〜20の範囲である。
固体触媒成分は、好ましくは5〜120μm、より好ましくは10〜100μm範囲の平均粒子サイズを有する。
Mg、Tiの測定
固体触媒成分中のMg及びTi含量の測定は、“I.C.P分光計ARL Accuris”で誘導結合型プラズマ放出分光器によって行った。
固体触媒成分中のBi含量の測定は、“I.C.P分光計ARL Accuris”で誘導結合型プラズマ放出分光器によって行った。
固体触媒化合物の中で内部供与体の含量測定は、ガスクロマトグラフィーを介して行われた。固体成分をアセトンに溶解させ、内部標準を添加した後、有機相のサンプルをガスクロマトグラフで分析して出発触媒化合物に存在する供与体の量を測定した。
2.5gのポリマー及び250mlのo−キシレンを冷却器及び還流凝縮器が備えられた丸底フラスコに入れ、窒素下に維持させた。得られた混合物を135℃に加熱し、約60分間撹拌下に維持させた。最終溶液を連続的に撹拌しながら25℃まで冷却させた後、不溶性ポリマーを濾過させた。濾過液を140℃の窒素気流下で蒸発させて一定の重量に到逹した。前記キシレン可溶性分画の含量は、元の2.5グラムの百分率として表され、その差によってX.I.%で表された。
重合体の溶融流量MILは、ISO 1133(230℃、2.16Kg)に従って測定した。
マイクロ球状MgCl2・pC2H5OH付加物を国際公開WO98/44009号の実施例2に記載された方法に従って製造した。57重量%のエタノールを含有する得られた固体球状粒子は、エタノールのレベルが50重量%に到逹されるまで暖かい窒素流れ下で脱アルコール化ステップを経った。
表1に示した量で粉末形態のBiCl3を溶融MgCl2−EtOH付加物製造ステップで添加したことの差は、WO98/44009号の実施例2に記載された方法に従ってマイクロ球状MgCl2・pC2H5OH付加物を製造した。57重量%のエタノールを含有する得られた固体球状粒子は、エタノールのレベルが50重量%に到逹されるまで暖かい窒素流れ下で脱アルコール化ステップを経った。
前駆体の合成を、米国特許第4,220,554号の実施例1に記載されているように行った。このようにして得られた担体は、以下の組成物を有する:Mg20.2重量%;Cl、29.8重量%;EtOH基41.5重量%。
機械的攪拌機、冷却器及び温度計が備えられた500ml丸底フラスコに300mlのTiCl4を室温で窒素雰囲気下で導入した。0℃に冷却した後、撹拌しながら、表1に示された量の粉末形態BiCl3、表1に示された量のジイソブチルフタレート(DIBP)、及び15.0gのMg系化合物I、IIまたはIII(前記のように製造された)を順次にフラスコに添加した。供給された内部供与体の量は、表1に示されたMg/供与体モル比を満たす量であった。温度を100℃まで上昇させ、1時間維持させた(第1ステップ(a))。その後、撹拌を中止し、固体生成物を沈降させ、上澄液を100℃で吸い上げた(siphoned off)。上澄液を除去した後使用された場合、表1に示された量のジイソブチルフタレートと共に、室温で追加の新たなTiCl4を添加して初期液体体積に再び到逹した。次いで、混合物を120℃で加熱し、このような温度で30分間維持させた(第2ステップ(a))。撹拌を再び中止し、固体を沈降させた後、100℃で上澄液を吸い上げた。上澄液を除去した後、室温で追加の新たなTiCl4を添加して初期液体体積に再び到逹した。次いで、混合物を120℃で加熱し、このような温度で15分間維持させた(第3ステップ(a))。撹拌を再び中止し、固体を沈降させ、100℃で上澄液を吸い上げた。固体を無数ヘプタンで90℃以下の温度勾配で4回洗浄し、25℃で1回洗浄した。得られた固体を真空下で乾燥させ、分析した。
グルタレート系固体触媒成分の製造は、ジイソブチルフタレートの代わりにジエチル、3、3−ジプロピルグルタレートを使用し、第1ステップ(a)の温度が100℃の代わりに120℃である差を有する、フタレート系固体触媒成分と同じである。
撹拌機、圧力計、温度計、触媒供給システム、モノマー供給ライン及び温度調節ジャケットが備えられた4リットルの鋼鉄オートクレーブを窒素流れ下で70℃で1時間パージした。以前に5分間予め接触させた75mlの無数ヘクサン、0.76gのAlEt3(6.66ミリモル)、0.33ミリモルの外部供与体及び0.006〜0.010gの固体触媒成分を含有する懸濁液を充填させた。ジシクロペンチルジメトキシシラン、D供与体またはシクロヘキシルメチルジメトキシシラン、C供与体中のいずれかを表1及び2に明示された外部供与体として使用した。
フタレート系固体触媒成分に対する重合結果は、表1に報告されており、一方、グルタレート系固体触媒成分に対する結果は、表2に報告されている。
Claims (15)
- Mg塩化物系担体上にTi化合物、Bi化合物及びオプションとして電子供与体を含む、CH2=CHRのオレフィン(式中、Rは水素または1〜12個の炭素原子を有するヒドロカルビルラジカルである)を(共)重合させるための固体触媒成分の製造方法であって、前記方法は、0〜150℃範囲の温度で行われる1つ以上のステップ(a)を含み、前記ステップにおいて、式(MgClmX2−m)・nLBのMg系化合物(式中、mは0〜2の範囲であり、nは0〜6の範囲であり、Xは独立してR1、OR1、−OCOR1またはO−C(O)−OR1基(ここで、1はC1−C20炭化水素基である)であり、LBはルイス塩基である)を、Ti/Mgのモル比が3超過になるように、少なくとも1つのTi−Cl結合を有する量でTi化合物を含む液体媒体と反応させ;前記方法は、前記ステップ(a)の少なくとも1つにおいて、Bi化合物がチタン化合物を含む前記液体媒体中に溶解されるかまたは分散されることを特徴とする、製造方法。
- 前記Bi化合物は、式Ti(OR1)q−yClyのTi化合物を含む液体媒体中に溶解されるかまたは分散され、ここで、qはチタンの原子価であり、yは1〜qの数であり、R1はC1−C20炭化水素基である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記Ti化合物が、テトラハロゲン化チタンまたはハロゲンアルコレートから選択される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記Mg系化合物が、式MgCl2・nR1OHの付加物から選択され、ここで、nは0.1〜6の数であり、R1はC1−C20炭化水素基である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- nが、1〜5である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記液体媒体が、液体Ti化合物からなる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記反応温度が、60〜140℃である、請求項6に記載の人方法。

- 前記Bi化合物が、Biハロゲン化物から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記Ti化合物を含む液体媒体中に分散されるかまたは可溶化されるBi化合物の量は、Mg系化合物の1モルあたり0.005〜0.1モルである、請求項1または9に記載の方法。
- 前記Ti化合物を含む液体媒体中に分散されるかまたは可溶化されるBi化合物が、Mg系化合物の1モル当たり0.010〜0.040モルである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記Bi化合物が、ステップ(a)のうちの1つのみに使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2つのステップ(a)を含み、前記Bi化合物が、第1ステップ(a)で使用される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(a)において、オプションとして置換された芳香族ポリカルボン酸のアルキル及びアリールエステル、マロン酸のエステル、グルタル酸のエステル、マレイン酸のエステル、コハク酸のエステル、ジカルバメート、モノエステルモノカルバメート及びモノエステルモノカーボネートの中から選択されたジオール誘導体、及び下記式の1、3ジエーテルからなる群から選択された電子供与体化合物の使用をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法:
- 前記内部供与体が、少なくともステップ(a)において使用される、請求項13に記載の方法。
