trata-se de um processo para a preparação de um componente catalisador sólido que compreende um composto de ti, um composto de bi e, opcionalmente, um doador de elétrons em um suporte à base de cloreto de mg, sendo que o dito processo compreende uma ou mais etapas (a) executadas a uma temperatura na faixa de 0 a 150°c, em que um composto à base de mg de fórmula (mgclmx2-m)¿nlb , em que m está na faixa de 0 a 2, n está na faixa de 0 a 6, x é independentemente grupo r1, or1, -ocor1 ou o-c(o)-or1, em que r1 é um grupo de hidrocarboneto c1-c20 e lb é uma base de lewis, é reagido com um meio líquido que compreende um composto de ti que tem pelo menos uma ligação ti-cl em uma quantidade de modo que a razão molar de ti/mg seja maior do que 3; sendo que o dito processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que em pelo menos uma das ditas etapas (a) um composto bi é dissolvido ou disperso n dito meio líquido que compreende o composto de titânio.
