Abstract
Description

Claims (18)
- 望まれない細胞増殖を除去又は破壊するための哺乳動物の治療方法であって、
前記方法は、哺乳動物に、配列番号66(Ile−Asp−Gln−Gln−Val−Leu−Ser−Arg−Ile−Lys−Leu−Glu−Ile−Lys−Arg−Cys−Leu)に記載のアミノ酸配列を含む単離されたペプチドの治療的有効量を、前記哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖の症状を治療することができる又は哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖を低減、阻害、抑制、治療及び/若しくは破壊することができる少なくとも1つの活性剤と組み合わせて投与することを含み、
前記方法は、望まれない細胞増殖を除去又は破壊する、方法。 - 前記方法は、請求項1に記載のペプチドの少なくとも1つの治療的有効量及び担体の投与を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖の症状を治療することができる又は哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖を低減、阻害、抑制、治療及び/若しくは破壊することができる少なくとも1つの活性剤は、タムスロシン、フィナステリド、テラゾシン、ドキサゾシン、プラゾシン、タダラフィル、アルフゾシン、シロドシン、デュタステリド、デュタステリドとタムスロシンとの組み合わせ、並びに、これらの混合物及び組み合わせからなる群から選択される1つ以上の薬剤である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖の症状を治療することができる又は哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖を低減、阻害、抑制、治療及び/若しくは破壊することができる少なくとも1つの活性剤は、タムスロシン、フィナステリド、テラゾシン、ドキサゾシン、タダラフィル、デュタステリド、デュタステリドとタムスロシンとの組み合わせ、並びに、これらの混合物及び組み合わせからなる群から選択される1つ以上の薬剤である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、請求項1に記載のペプチドの少なくとも1つの治療的有効量、及び、請求項1の単離されたペプチドのN末端又はC末端のいずれかに隣接する少なくとも1個から最大25個のアミノ酸の投与を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ペプチドは、経口、皮下、皮内、鼻腔内、静脈内、筋肉内、鞘内、鼻腔内、腫瘍内、局所、及び、経皮からなる群から選択される方法によって投与される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、外科的切除、移植、移植、化学療法、免疫療法、予防接種、熱又は電気による切除、凍結療法、レーザー療法、光線療法、遺伝子治療及び射光からなる群から選択される治療による哺乳動物の治療の前、治療中、又は、治療の後に哺乳動物に対して実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記病状は、肺、胸、胃、膵臓、前立腺、膀胱、硬骨、卵巣、皮膚、腎臓、洞、結腸、腸、胃、直腸、食道、心臓、脾臓、唾液腺、血液、脳及びその被膜、脊髄及びその皮膜、筋肉、結合組織、副腎、副甲状腺、甲状腺、子宮、睾丸、脳下垂体、生殖器、肝臓、胆嚢、目、耳、鼻、咽喉、扁桃、口、並びに、リンパ節及びリンパ系からなる群から選択される組織の良性又は悪性の腫瘍である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記病状は、肺、胸、胃、膵臓、前立腺、膀胱、硬骨、卵巣、皮膚、腎臓、洞、結腸、腸、胃、直腸、食道、心臓、脾臓、唾液腺、血液、脳及びその皮膜、脊髄及びその皮膜、筋肉、結合組織、副腎、副甲状腺、甲状腺、子宮、睾丸、脳下垂体、生殖器、肝臓、胆嚢、目、耳、鼻、咽喉、扁桃、口、並びに、リンパ節及びリンパ系からなる群から選択される組織の過形成、肥大又は過剰増殖である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記病状は、肺、胸、胃、膵臓、前立腺、膀胱、硬骨、卵巣、皮膚、腎臓、洞、結腸、腸、胃、直腸、食道、心臓、脾臓、唾液腺、血液、脳及びその皮膜、脊髄及びその皮膜、筋肉、結合組織、副腎、副甲状腺、甲状腺、子宮、睾丸、脳下垂体、生殖器、肝臓、胆嚢、目、耳、鼻、咽喉、扁桃、口、並びに、リンパ節及びリンパ系からなる群から選択される組織であって、ウイルスにより、細菌により、又は、寄生虫により変化させられた組織である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記病状は、肺、胸、胃、膵臓、前立腺、膀胱、硬骨、卵巣、皮膚、腎臓、洞、結腸、腸、胃、直腸、食道、心臓、脾臓、唾液腺、血液、脳及びその被膜、脊髄及びその皮膜、筋肉、結合組織、副腎、副甲状腺、甲状腺、子宮、睾丸、脳下垂体、生殖器、肝臓、胆嚢、目、耳、鼻、咽喉、扁桃、口、並びに、リンパ節及びリンパ系からなる群から選択される組織の形成異常である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記病状は良性前立腺肥大症(BPH)である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、前記哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖の症状を治療することができる又は哺乳動物における望まれない細胞増殖を低減、阻害、抑制、治療及び/若しくは破壊することができる更なる活性剤と組み合わせたプラセボによって哺乳動物を治療することによってみられる改善と比較した場合、約15%から約150%の平均IPSS(国際前立腺症状スコア)改善を提供する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記改善は約40%である、請求項13の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの活性剤は、前記少なくとも1つの単離されたペプチドと別々に又は異なった時点に投与される。請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの単離されたペプチドは、静脈内、筋肉内、鞘内、鼻腔内、腫瘍内、局所的、及び、経皮的からなる群から選択される方法によって投与され、
前記少なくとも1つの活性剤は、経口で投与される、請求項15に記載の方法。 - 望まれない細胞増殖を除去又は破壊するための哺乳動物の治療方法であって、
前記方法は、配列番号66(Ile−Asp−Gln−Gln−Val−Leu−Ser−Arg−Ile−Lys−Leu−Glu−Ile−Lys−Arg−Cys−Leu)に記載のアミノ酸配列を含む単離されたペプチドの治療的有効量を哺乳動物に投与し、その後に、望まれない細胞増殖の外科的治療を行うことを含む、治療方法。 - 前記方法は、外科的治療と組み合わせたプラセボにより哺乳動物を治療することによってみられる改善と比較された場合、約15%から約150%の平均IPSS(国際前立腺症状スコア)改善を提供する、請求項17に記載の方法。
