Abstract
【解決手段】本実施形態のバッテリのヒータ制御装置は、駆動対象の使用電力を出力するバッテリの温度を検出する温度センサと、前記バッテリを加温するためのヒータを制御する制御部とを具備する。前記制御部は、前記バッテリの残存容量及び前記温度の関係に基づいて、前記駆動対象の始動特性に応じた始動限界を算出し、前記始動限界に基づいて前記ヒータを制御する。

Description
[バッテリ装置の構成]
図1は、本実施形態のバッテリ装置1(以下、バッテリパックと表記する場合がある)の構成を示すブロック図である。本実施形態のバッテリパック1は、例えば車両に搭載される車載用のバッテリ装置であり、車両本体2に含まれるセルモータ20に対して電力を出力する。また、バッテリパック1は、車両本体2に含まれるオルタネータ(alternator)21から充電用の電力を供給される。オルタネータ21は、車両本体2に含まれるエンジン22の動力により発電する。バッテリパック1は車両本体2との間で、電力線100及び制御信号線110を介して電力及び制御信号の入出力を行う。
[本実施形態の動作]
図3は、車両本体2のクランキング(cranking)時において、バッテリ10の充放電による電圧特性を示す図である。図3において、電圧のプラス方向がバッテリ10の放電状態を示し、電圧のマイナス方向がバッテリ10の充電状態を示す。以下、図2及び図3を参照して、クランキング時のバッテリ10の充放電動作を説明する。

図9は、本実施形態の変形例を説明するためのブロック図である。本実施形態では、図1に示すように、バッテリパック1は、バッテリパック1の全体的制御を行うコントローラである制御部11、及び電圧計や電流計を含む計測器14を内蔵している構成である。

- 駆動対象の使用電力を出力するバッテリの温度を検出する温度センサと、
前記バッテリを加温するためのヒータを制御する制御手段とを具備し、
前記制御手段は、
前記バッテリの残存容量及び前記温度の関係に基づいて、前記駆動対象の始動特性に応じた始動限界を算出し、
前記始動限界に基づいて前記ヒータを制御する、バッテリのヒータ制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、
前記駆動対象の始動前の準備動作の時間に、前記バッテリの残存容量及び前記温度の関係に基づいて前記始動限界を算出するためのデータを作成し、
前記データに基づいて前記ヒータを制御する、請求項1に記載のバッテリのヒータ制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、
前記駆動対象の始動前の準備動作の時に、前記バッテリの残存容量及び前記温度の関係に基づいた前記準備動作の時間状況を示すデータを作成し、
前記データに基づいて前記始動限界を算出し、
前記バッテリの状況と前記始動限界に基づいて前記ヒータを制御する、請求項1に記載のバッテリのヒータ制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、
前記バッテリの状況が前記始動限界に達していない場合には、前記ヒータをオンするように制御し、

前記データに基づいて前記ヒータの抵抗切り替え境界を算出し、
前記バッテリの状況と前記抵抗切り替え境界に基づいて前記ヒータの抵抗を選定し、前記ヒータを制御する、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のバッテリのヒータ制御装置。 - 前記駆動対象は車両であり、
