Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の複数の気筒のうち少なくとも一つの前記気筒での空燃比を理論空燃比よりも小さいリッチ空燃比に制御し、複数の前記気筒のうち残りの他の前記気筒の空燃比を前記理論空燃比よりも大きいリーン空燃比に制御して、複数の前記気筒からの排気を浄化する触媒を昇温させる昇温処理の実行中であるか否かを判定する昇温判定部と、
複数の前記気筒間での空燃比のばらつき度合に基づいて、前記内燃機関が異常であるか否かを判定する異常判定処理を実行する異常判定部と、を備え、
前記異常判定部は、前記昇温処理の停止中での前記ばらつき度合が第1判定値よりも大きいか否かに基づいて前記異常判定処理を実行し、前記昇温処理の実行中での前記ばらつき度合が前記第1判定値よりも大きい第2判定値よりも大きいか否かに基づいて前記異常判定処理を実行する、内燃機関の異常診断装置。 - 前記昇温処理は、前記複数の気筒のうち一つの前記気筒のみを前記リッチ空燃比に制御し、複数の前記気筒のうち残りの他の前記気筒の空燃比を前記リーン空燃比に制御して、前記リッチ空燃比に制御される一つの前記気筒を順に切り替えることにより実行され、
前記異常判定処理は、前記昇温処理での前記リッチ空燃比及びリーン空燃比にそれぞれ制御される複数の前記気筒の組み合わせ毎の前記ばらつき度合のうちの最大値、前記組み合わせ毎の前記ばらつき度合の平均値、前記組み合わせ毎の前記ばらつき度合の合計値、の何れかを、前記昇温処理の実行中での前記ばらつき度合として用いて実行される、請求項1の内燃機関の異常診断装置。
