Abstract
Description
図1において、符号1は、車両用変速機の変速操作を行うためのシフトレバーである。シフトレバー1は、シフトノブ2と、シフトノブ2を覆うノブカバー3とにより構成される。ノブカバー3は、シフトレバー1の位置情報や装飾意匠等を視認するための透過性の表示窓3aを有している。
表示装置10の第1表示部である透明有機EL素子11は、第1透明電極である透明陽極と、第2透明電極である透明陰極と、透明陽極及び透明陰極の間に配置された透明有機発光層とを有している。
上記のような表示装置10の構成によれば、透明有機EL素子11によって発光表示される情報や模様等に高い視認性が得られる。しかしながら、情報や模様等の視認性が高いだけでは、立体感や奥行き感を出すことは困難であり、意匠性や高級感を演出することも困難となる。
上記のように構成されたベース部材13の反射面13aは、三角錐凹状に形成された立体構造体であるが、各種の立体構造体を特に制限なく用いることができる。光輝性等を阻害しない構成であれば、装飾意匠13bの形状や大きさ等を適宜変更することができる。
以上のように構成された表示装置10は、装飾意匠13b、13c、13dを表示する第2表示部であるベース部材13の位置が情報や模様等を表示する第1表示部である透明有機EL素子11の位置の下方に配設された構成となっている。その結果、ベース部材13の凹状の装飾意匠13b、13c、13dを、透明有機EL素子11に表示される情報及び模様等の位置の下方に立体的に鮮明な状態で表示することができる。このような効果に加えて、次の効果が得られる。
Claims (3)
- 透明有機EL素子と、前記透明有機EL素子に対向して配置され、入射した光を反射するベース部材とを備え、
前記ベース部材の反射面が装飾意匠面として形成され、前記装飾意匠面に形成された装飾意匠が、前記透明有機EL素子によって発光表示される情報の位置の下方に表示されることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記透明有機EL素子は、情報を表示する情報表示部と、模様を表示する模様表示部とを有する請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記装飾意匠が多数の斜面を有する凹状の多面体からなり、前記多面体は二次元アレイ状に配列されている請求項1に記載の表示装置。
