Abstract
Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係るミリ波無線通信システム100のシステム構成の一例を示す図である。図1のミリ波無線通信システム100は、AP(Access Point)1、AP2、AP3、および、APC(Access Point Controller)4を有する。各APは、本開示における無線通信装置に相当し、APC4は、本開示における制御装置に相当する。また、ミリ波無線通信システム100は、STA(Station)5の位置を推定する位置推定システムに相当する。
本開示の位置推定システムは、M個(Mは2以上の整数)の無線通信装置と制御装置とを備え、無線通信端末の位置を推定する位置推定システムであって、第iの無線通信装置(iは1からMの整数)は、Ni方向(Niは2以上の整数)のビームそれぞれを用いて、前記無線通信端末から送信される信号を受信する通信部と、前記Ni方向のビームそれぞれに対応するNi個の受信品質を算出する制御部と、を備え、前記制御装置は、前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性を記憶する記憶部と、前記第iの無線通信装置から取得する前記Ni個の受信品質と前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性とを比較することによって前記第iの無線通信装置を基準とした前記信号の第iの到来方向を推定し、前記M個の無線通信装置それぞれを基準として推定した第1から第Mの到来方向、および、前記M個の無線通信装置の位置に基づいて、前記無線通信端末の位置を推定する制御部と、を備える。

Claims (5)
- M個(Mは2以上の整数)の無線通信装置と制御装置とを備え、無線通信端末の位置を推定する位置推定システムであって、
第iの無線通信装置(iは1からMの整数)は、
Ni方向(Niは2以上の整数)のビームそれぞれを用いて、前記無線通信端末から送信される信号を受信する通信部と、
前記Ni方向のビームそれぞれに対応するNi個の受信品質を算出する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御装置は、
前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性を記憶する記憶部と、
前記第iの無線通信装置から取得する前記Ni個の受信品質と前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性とを比較することによって前記第iの無線通信装置を基準とした前記信号の第iの到来方向を推定し、前記M個の無線通信装置それぞれを基準として推定した第1から第Mの到来方向、および、前記M個の無線通信装置の位置に基づいて、前記無線通信端末の位置を推定する制御部と、
を備える、
位置推定システム。 - 前記第iの無線通信装置の制御部は、
前記Ni個の受信品質のうち、最も良い受信品質に対応するビームを用いて、前記無線通信端末と通信を行う、
請求項1に記載の位置推定システム。 - 前記制御装置の制御部は、
前記Ni個の受信品質を示す受信品質ベクトルと、前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性を示す到来方向モデルとのパターンマッチングを行うことによって、前記第iの到来方向を推定する、
請求項1に記載の位置推定システム。 - 前記制御装置の制御部は、
前記第iの無線通信装置を基準として規定された座標系において推定された前記第iの到来方向を、前記第iの無線通信装置の位置を規定する座標系へ変換する、
請求項1に記載の位置推定システム。 - M個(Mは2以上の整数)の無線通信装置を少なくとも備えるシステムにおいて、無線通信端末の位置を推定する位置推定方法であって、
第iの無線通信装置(iは1からMの整数)がNi方向(Niは2以上の整数)のビームそれぞれを用いて、前記無線通信端末から送信される信号を受信し、
前記Ni方向のビームそれぞれに対応するNi個の受信品質を算出し、
前記Ni個の受信品質と前記Ni方向のビームの放射角度毎の特性とを比較することによって前記第iの無線通信装置を基準とした前記信号の第iの到来方向を推定し、
前記M個の無線通信装置それぞれを基準として推定した第1から第Mの到来方向、および、前記M個の無線通信装置の位置に基づいて、前記無線通信端末の位置を推定する、
