Claims (5)
- 車体に支持されるコラムハウジングと、該コラムハウジングに対し軸方向移動可能に支持されるコラムチューブと、該コラムチューブと前記コラムハウジングとの間に介装され当該コラムチューブを押圧する押圧機構とを備えた車両のステアリング装置において、前記押圧機構が、前記コラムチューブの外面に当接する当接部材と、該当接部材と前記コラムハウジングとの間に介装され当該当接部材を前記コラムチューブ方向に付勢する付勢部材と、該付勢部材と前記当接部材との間に介装され、前記付勢部材に当接する支持部、及び該支持部に対しオフセットした領域で前記当接部材に当接する押圧部を有するシム部材とを備えたことを特徴とする車両のステアリング装置。
- 前記シム部材が、前記支持部を構成する第1の部材と、前記押圧部を構成する第2の部材から成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両のステアリング装置。
- 前記当接部材は、前記コラムチューブの外面に当接する円板部と該円板部の中央から延出する軸部を有し、前記シム部材は、前記円板部に当接し前記押圧部を構成する小径部と前記付勢部材に当接し前記支持部を構成する大径部を有し、前記付勢部材は、中央に開口部を有する円板状の皿ばねが複数重合されて成り、該皿ばねの開口部が前記軸部に嵌合され、当該皿ばねの外周縁部が前記シム部材の大径部に当接するように配設されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両のステアリング装置。
- 前記付勢部材は、前記皿ばねが二枚並列に重合されると共に、該二枚並列に重合された二組の皿ばねが、前記軸部に嵌合される方向で直列に重合されて成ることを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両のステアリング装置。
- 前記コラムハウジングに固定され、前記コラムチューブを軸方向移動可能に支持するプレートを備え、該プレートに前記押圧機構が支持されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の車両のステアリング装置。
