Abstract
Description
少なくとも一つの放射線入力面に、平均でそれぞれ、少なくとも0.067W/mm2および0.2W/mm2の青色パワー(Wopt)が提供されることに対応する。ここで、「平均」と言う用語は、特に、(少なくとも一つの放射線入力面の)領域にわたる平均を意味する。2以上の放射線入力面に照射される場合、特に、これらの放射線入力面の各々は、そのような光子流束を受光する。また、特に、示された光子流束(または青色光源光が適用される場合、青色パワー)は、時間にわたる平均である。特に、細長いセラミック本体は、(青色)光源光の少なくとも一部を、変換器光、例えば緑色または赤色の範囲の光に波長変換するように構成されたセラミック材料を有し、この変換器光は、少なくとも一部が放射線出口窓から射出される。セラミック材料は、特に、A3B5O12:Ce3+セラミック材料(セラミックガーネット)を有し、ここでAは、イットリウム(Y)、ガドリニウム(Gd)、およびルテチウム(Lu)の1または2以上を含み、Bは、アルミニウム(Al)および/またはガリウム(Ga)を含む。以下に示すように、Aは、他の希土類元素を表しても良く、Bは、Alのみを含んでも、さらにガリウムを含んでも良い。一般式A3B5O12:Ce3+は、特に、化学式を示し、すなわち、異なる種類の元素A、B、Oの化学量論(3:5:12)を表す。ただし、良く知られているように、そのような一般式で表される化合物は、必要な場合、化学量論からの少量のずれを含んでも良い。

Claims (15)
- 複数の半導体光源と、細長いセラミック本体とを有する照明装置であって、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、第1の面および第2の面と、前記細長いセラミック本体の全長とを有し、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、1または2以上の放射線入力面と放射線出口窓とを有し、
前記第2の面は、前記放射線出口窓を有し、
前記複数の半導体光源は、前記1または2以上の放射線入力面に、青色光源光を提供するように構成され、前記放射線入力面の少なくとも一つに、少なくとも1.0×1017光子/(s.mm2)の光子束を提供するように構成され、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、前記青色光源光の少なくとも一部を、変換器光に波長変換するように構成されたセラミック材料を有し、
前記セラミック材料は、A3B5O12:Ce3+セラミック材料を有し、ここでAは、イットリウム(Y)、ガドリニウム(Gd)、およびルテチウム(Lu)の1または2以上を含み、Bは、アルミニウム(Al)を含む、照明装置。 - 前記細長いセラミック本体は、開始材料の高温での真空焼結処理と、静水圧プレス処理とを含む方法により得られ、その後、少なくとも1000℃での酸化性雰囲気におけるアニール処理を含む方法により、前記細長いセラミック本体が提供される、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記細長いセラミック本体は、開始材料の中性または還元性雰囲気における高温での真空焼結処理と、静水圧プレス処理とを含む方法により得られ、その後、前記アニール処理を有する前記方法により、前記細長いセラミック本体が提供される、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- さらに、前記第1の面の下流に配置され、前記細長いセラミック本体に光を反射させるように構成された光反射器を有し、
前記放射線出口窓は、前記1または2以上の放射線入力面に対して垂直に構成され、
当該照明装置は、さらに、前記放射線出口窓の下流に配置され、前記変換器光内の非緑色および非赤色の光の1または2以上の相対的な寄与を抑制するように構成された光学フィルタを有する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 前記全長は、少なくとも20mmであり、
前記セリウム濃度は、Aの0.1から3.0%の範囲であり、
前記光子束は、少なくとも4.5×1017光子/(s.mm2)である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 前記放射線出口窓から下流に、前記変換器光のルーメン出力を有し、
単位mm2当たり一定の光子束において、前記ルーメン出力は、前記全長が少なくとも20から100mmの範囲内で、前記セラミック本体の前記全長でスケール化され得る、請求項5に記載の照明装置。 - 前記セラミック本体の熱発光スペクトルは、50から100℃の範囲で最大値を示し、
該最大値は、単結晶で提供された同じ材料の同じ範囲における最大値の、2乃至10倍の範囲である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 第1のオプションにおいて、前記セラミック材料におけるAは、少なくとも90%のLuを有し、または
第2のオプションにおいて、前記セラミック材料におけるAは、50から95%の範囲のYと、5から50%のGdとを有し、
両方のオプションにおいて、前記セラミック材料におけるBは、少なくとも95%のAlおよびGaを有する、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 前記細長いセラミック本体は、形状濃縮因子を有し、該形状濃縮因子は、前記放射線入力面の面積と前記放射線出口窓の面積の比として定められ、少なくとも2であり、
当該照明装置は、さらに、前記放射線出口窓の下流に配置され、前記変換器光を平行化するように構成されたコリメータを有する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置。 - 請求項1乃至9のいずれか一つに記載の照明装置を有するプロジェクタ。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれか一つに記載の、少なくとも2つの照明装置を有し、
第1の照明装置は、緑色光を提供するように構成され、第2の照明装置は、赤色光を提供するように構成される、請求項10に記載のプロジェクタ。 - 細長いセラミック本体を製造する方法であって、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、1または2以上の放射線入力面と、放射線出口窓とを有し、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、青色光原光の少なくとも一部を、少なくとも変換器光に波長変換するように構成されたセラミック材料を有し、
前記セラミック材料は、A3B5O12:Ce3+セラミック材料を有し、ここでAは、イットリウム、ガドリニウムおよびルテチウムの1または2以上を含み、Bは、アルミニウムを含み、
当該方法は、高温で開始材料を処理して、前記細長いセラミック本体を提供するステップと、アニール処理において、前記細長いセラミック本体を、酸化性雰囲気下、少なくとも1000℃でアニールするステップとを有する、方法。 - 当該方法は、高温で開始材料を処理するステップを有し、該ステップは、真空焼結処理および静水圧プレス処理を含む方法を有し、
前記酸化性雰囲気は、O2を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 当該方法は、中性または還元性雰囲気において、開始材料を高温で処理するステップを有する、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
