Description
少なくとも一つの放射線入力面に、平均でそれぞれ、少なくとも0.067W/mm2および0.2W/mm2の青色パワー(Wopt)が提供されることに対応する。ここで、「平均」と言う用語は、特に、(少なくとも一つの放射線入力面の)領域にわたる平均を意味する。2以上の放射線入力面に照射される場合、特に、これらの放射線入力面の各々は、そのような光子流束を受光する。また、特に、示された光子流束(または青色光源光が適用される場合、青色パワー)は、時間にわたる平均である。特に、細長いセラミック本体は、(青色)光源光の少なくとも一部を、変換器光、例えば緑色または赤色の範囲の光に波長変換するように構成されたセラミック材料を有し、この変換器光は、少なくとも一部が放射線出口窓から射出される。セラミック材料は、特に、A3B5O12:Ce3+セラミック材料(セラミックガーネット)を有し、ここでAは、イットリウム(Y)、ガドリニウム(Gd)、およびルテチウム(Lu)の1または2以上を含み、Bは、アルミニウム(Al)および/またはガリウム(Ga)を含む。以下に示すように、Aは、他の希土類元素を表しても良く、Bは、Alのみを含んでも、さらにガリウムを含んでも良い。一般式A3B5O12:Ce3+は、特に、化学式を示し、すなわち、異なる種類の元素A、B、Oの化学量論(3:5:12)を表す。ただし、良く知られているように、そのような一般式で表される化合物は、必要な場合、化学量論からの少量のずれを含んでも良い。

Claims (4)
- 細長いセラミック本体を製造する方法であって、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、1または2以上の放射線入力面と、該1または2以上の放射線入力面に対して垂直に設けられた放射線出口窓とを有し、
前記放射線入力面は、放射線入力面面積Aを有し、前記放射線出口窓は、放射線出口窓面積Eを有し、前記放射線入力面面積Aは、前記放射線出口窓面積Eの少なくとも1.5倍であり、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、前記放射線入力面の少なくとも一つで、1.0×1017光子/(s.mm2)の光子流束を受光するように構成され、
前記細長いセラミック本体は、青色光原光の少なくとも一部を、少なくとも変換器光に波長変換するように構成されたセラミック材料を有し、
前記セラミック材料は、A3B5O12:Ce3+セラミック材料を有し、ここでAは、イットリウム、ガドリニウムおよびルテチウムの1または2以上を含み、Bは、アルミニウムを含み、
当該方法は、
高温で開始材料を焼結処理し、および/またはホットプレス処理して、前記細長いセラミック本体を提供するステップと、
その後のアニール処理において、前記細長いセラミック本体を、酸素分圧が0.01から100ppmの範囲の雰囲気下、少なくとも1000℃でアニールするステップと、
を有する、方法。 - 当該方法は、高温で開始材料を処理するステップを有し、該ステップは、真空焼結処理および静水圧プレス処理を含む方法を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 当該方法は、中性または還元性雰囲気において、開始材料を高温で処理するステップを有する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記開始材料は、第1のオプションにおいて、前記セラミック材料内に少なくとも90%のLuを有するAを提供するように選定され、または
第2のオプションにおいて、前記セラ
ミック材料内に50から95%の範囲のYと、5から50%の範囲のGdとを有するAを提供するように選定され、
両方のオプションにおいて、前記セラミック材料内のBは、少なくとも95%のAlおよびGaを有する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
