Abstract
Description
本明細書には、表面に反応性金属が結合された物、物に塗布するための金属含有ポリマー、および該反応性金属を物の表面に塗布する方法が記載される。本発明のプロセスは、さまざまな基質に反応性金属を塗布することを含み、これにより、物の表面からの金属イオンの徐放が可能となる。特に本発明は、基質が、反応性の亜鉛および銅が結合された織物、不織布および編物である場合に有用である。
金属および金属イオンに関連すると考えられる、数多くの健康に関するメリットが存在する。たとえば、亜鉛は、にきび、フケ、およびおむつ皮膚炎の治療、ならびに天然の日焼け止めに使用されることが知られている。銀は、抗菌性を有することが知られている。銅は、皮膚の修復および再生のために医薬に長年使用されている。銅は、酸素運搬を増大し、遊離基を中和し、かつカビおよび白カビの増殖を阻害する。これらの理由等により、生地、仕上がった衣類、および他の製品内に金属を取込むという要望が存在する。
上記の目的は、表面に塗布された反応性金属錯体を含有することによって、金属イオンがその生地または基質の外部の対象物に運搬可能となる、本発明に従う物の提供によって満足された。反応性金属は、担体またはビヒクルによって物に放出可能に結合されている。
反応性金属イオンまたは金属塩を物に付与するためのプロセスと、該プロセスによって製造される物とが提供される。本明細書においては、基質と、基質に塗布された仕上げ剤とからなる、表面に反応性金属が結合された物が記載される。仕上げ剤は、イオンまたは塩の形態の反応性金属を運搬するための極性ポリマー担体またはビヒクルからなる。反応性金属は、+1または+2の酸化状態を有する錯体形態の遷移金属であり、金属イオンは、仕上がった物の表面から離れるように運搬可能である。
(a) 水分率、すなわち、織編物特性の劣化なしに水分を吸収する能力;
(b) 帯電性、すなわち、表面抵抗;
(c) 洗濯およびドライクリーニングに対する耐性、すなわち、機械的特性の損失、退色等なしに、25回以上までの繰返しの洗濯および/またはドライクリーニングのサイクルに耐える必要がある;
(d) 大気の影響に対する耐性、すなわち、機械的特性の損失、退色等なしに、光、酸素、オゾン、酸性不純物等に耐える必要がある;
(e) 柔らかな手触り、良好な引裂強さ;および
(f) 忌避性(水、風、雨、雪、昆虫)。
亜鉛および銅を含有するポリマー担体懸濁液を、懸濁液が均一になるまで最低2時間の間混合した。必要な水の50%未満を薬液タンクに充填し、40℃に加熱した。相溶化剤をその順序で混合しながらタンクに加え、pHを酢酸/重炭酸ナトリウムにより5.5〜7.0に調整した。仕上げ剤を、テンター枠と縦一列に並んだ拡布パッドトラフに加えながらろ過し、トラフ中で一回再循環させた。枠温度が140℃を上回らないことを確実にしつつ、85%のウェットピックアップで仕上げ剤を生地に塗布した。
Claims (20)
- アクリル酸、メチルアクリレートおよびウレタンから選択されるモノマーから合成されるポリマーと、
+1または+2の酸化状態を有する少なくとも1つの金属とを含み、前記金属は、その塩および配位錯体を含む、ポリマー担体組成物。 - 前記金属は、銅および亜鉛の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマー担体組成物。
- 前記金属は、亜鉛および銅、またはこれらの塩もしくは配位錯体からなる、請求項2に記載のポリマー担体組成物。
- 前記モノマーは、ポリメチルメタクリレートまたはポリヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレートである、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 前記モノマーは、ウレタンである、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 前記ウレタンは、末端水酸基ポリブタジエン、末端水酸基ポリエーテル、および末端水酸基カプロラクトンエーテルからなる群から選択されるプレポリマーを有する、請求項5に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 前記末端水酸基ポリエーテルは、ポリ−1,4−ブタンジオールとポリエチレングリコールとのコポリマーを含む、請求項6に記載のポリマー組成物。
- アクリル酸、メチルアクリレートおよびウレタンから選択される、0.5〜10重量%のモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 前記組成物は、懸濁液である、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 前記金属は、硫酸銅(II)、ジンクピリチオン、および硫酸銅(II)五水和物の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項9に記載のポリマー担体懸濁液。
- 硫酸銅(II)五水和物は、前記懸濁液の50〜70重量%で存在する、請求項10に記載のポリマー担体懸濁液。
- ジンクピリチオンは、前記懸濁液の0.5〜10重量%で組成物中に存在する、請求項10に記載のポリマー担体懸濁液。
- オキシアルキレンポリアミノエーテルをさらに含む、請求項9に記載のポリマー担体懸濁液。
- 前記ポリマーは、ターポリマーである、請求項9に記載のポリマー担体懸濁液。
- 前記金属は、銀、またはその塩もしくは配位錯体を含む、請求項1に記載のポリマー組成物。
- 基質と、
前記基質に塗布された仕上げ剤とを含み、前記仕上げ剤は、請求項1に記載の前記ポリマー担体組成物を含み、
前記金属は、イオンまたは塩の形態である、金属注入物。 - 前記基質は、織物である、請求項16に記載の金属注入物。
- 前記織物は、綿、ナイロン、ポリエステルおよびスパンデックスの少なくとも1つからなる、請求項17に記載の金属注入物。
- 前記仕上げ剤は、2〜20重量%で前記基質に塗布される、請求項16に記載の金属注入物。
- アクリル酸、メチルアクリレートおよびウレタンからなる群から選択されるモノマーから調製される、0.5〜10重量%のポリマーと、
+1または+2の酸化状態を有する少なくとも1つの金属、またはその塩もしくは配位錯体とを含み、
前記懸濁液は、1,000cps未満の粘度を有する、ポリマー担体懸濁液。
