Abstract
Description
選択的に充電状態と放電状態とに設定され、前記充電状態で電気エネルギーを蓄積し、前記放電状態で自動車を駆動するための電気エネルギーを供給する動力バッテリーと、
燃料を貯蔵し、貯蔵している燃料がガス圧力を生じる燃料貯蔵タンクと、
作動状態および停止状態となり、前記作動状態で前記燃料貯蔵タンク内の燃料の化学エネルギーを出力用電気エネルギーに変換する発電ユニットと、
前記燃料貯蔵タンク内のガス圧力を検出する圧力検出装置と、
圧力保護モードを含む複数の作動モードのうち選択された1つの作動モードで作動するよう自動車を制御する作動モード制御装置と、
を備え、
前記作動モード制御装置は、前記発電ユニットが停止状態であり、前記圧力検出装置によって検出された前記ガス圧力が圧力しきい値より高い場合に、前記発電ユニットを停止状態から始動させて前記燃料貯蔵タンク内の燃料を消費する作動状態とし、それによって前記燃料貯蔵タンク内のガス圧力を低下させる前記圧力保護モードとなるよう自動車を制御する、

自動車の車輪に機械的パワー経路を連結するあるいは切り離すためのクラッチを備え、前記作動モード制御装置は、自動車が停止状態から前記圧力保護モードになるときに、前記クラッチを切り離すよう制御する、
という構成をとる。
通常モードは、自動車の始動時あるいは作動状態における主な作動モードであり、現在のハイブリッド車の共通作動モードを採用している。通常モードでは、発電ユニット40は、予め定められた作動方針によって、選択的に作動状態あるいは停止状態となる。また、動力バッテリー50は、予め定められた作動方針によって、選択的に充電状態あるいは放電状態になる。
発電ユニット40が停止状態で、圧力検出装置20によって検出されたガス圧力が圧力しきい値より高い場合、作動モード制御装置30は、自動車が圧力保護モードとなるよう制御する。燃料貯蔵タンク10内のガス圧力が圧力しきい値より高い場合は、燃料貯蔵タンク10が安全でない状態であることを示している。圧力保護モードにおいては、発電ユニット40は停止状態から始動し、燃料貯蔵タンク10の燃料を消費する作動状態となる。これにより、燃料貯蔵タンク10内のガス圧力は適切に低下し、少なくとも圧力しきい値より低い状態に戻る。
上述したように、圧力保護モード下では、発電ユニット40によって生成された電気エネルギーは、動力バッテリー50の充電のために使用されることが望ましい。しかしながら、このときに動力バッテリー50が充電可能な状態であるかどうかは不明である。例えば、自動車の停止後、動力バッテリー50内の電力エネルギーはまだ十分な状態あるいは比較的十分な状態であるかもしれない。この場合、動力バッテリー50は、発電ユニット40による電気エネルギー出力にまったく対応することができないか、十分に対応することができないかもしれない。このため、本発明はさらにバッテリーのみ動力供給モードを提供している。
(1)圧力しきい値は、単一の圧力値である。一度、燃料貯蔵タンク10内のガス圧力が圧力しきい値を超えると、圧力保護モードが引き起こされる。
(2)圧力しきい値は、圧力上限値および圧力下限値を含む圧力範囲である。
燃料源(本発明の燃料貯蔵タンク10に相当)と、
制御システム(本発明の作動モード制御装置30に相当)と、
それぞれが制御システムの制御下でそれぞれ独立して燃料源から燃料を受け取り、燃料による化学エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換し、電気エネルギーを共通電流バスに出力する、少なくとも2つの補助動力装置(本発明の発電ユニット40に相当)と、
共通電流バスを介して充電あるいは放電するよう、制御システムの制御により共通電流バスから電気エネルギーを受け取るために共通電流バスに電気的に接続される動力バッテリー(本発明の動力バッテリー50に相当)と、
制御システムの制御により共通電流バスから電気エネルギーを受け取るために共通電流バスに電気的に接続され、電気的エネルギーを機械エネルギーに変換し、機械エネルギーを自動車を駆動するためのパワートレイン(本発明のトランスミッションシステム90に相当)に伝達するトラクションモーター(本発明のトラクションモーター70に相当)と、
を備えている。
Claims (10)
- 選択的に充電状態と放電状態とに設定され、前記充電状態で電気エネルギーを蓄積し、前記放電状態で自動車を駆動するための電気エネルギーを供給する動力バッテリーと、
燃料を貯蔵し、貯蔵している燃料がガス圧力を生じる燃料貯蔵タンクと、
作動状態および停止状態となり、前記作動状態で前記燃料貯蔵タンク内の燃料の化学エネルギーを出力用電気エネルギーに変換する発電ユニットと、
前記燃料貯蔵タンク内のガス圧力を検出する圧力検出装置と、
圧力保護モードを含む複数の作動モードのうち選択された1つの作動モードで作動するよう自動車を制御する作動モード制御装置と、
を備え、
前記作動モード制御装置は、前記発電ユニットが停止状態であり、前記圧力検出装置によって検出された前記ガス圧力が圧力しきい値より高い場合に、前記発電ユニットを停止状態から始動させて前記燃料貯蔵タンク内の燃料を消費する作動状態とし、それによって前記燃料貯蔵タンク内のガス圧力を低下させる前記圧力保護モードとなるよう自動車を制御する、

前記圧力保護モードでは、前記動力バッテリーは、前記発電ユニットから電気エネルギーを受け取り充電する充電状態である、

前記複数の作動モードは、自動車が始動された場合に実行されるバッテリーのみ動力供給モードをさらに含み、
前記バッテリーのみ動力供給モードでは、前記発電ユニットは常に停止状態であり、前記動力バッテリーは、常に、当該動力バッテリーに蓄積された電気エネルギーを自動車を駆動するために消費する放電状態である、

前記複数の作動モードは、自動車が始動された場合に実行される通常モードをさらに含み、
前記通常モードでは、前記発電ユニットは予め設定された作動設定に応じて選択的に作動状態あるいは停止状態となり、前記動力バッテリーは、予め設定された作動設定に応じて選択的に充電状態あるいは放電状態となる、
ハイブリッド車。 - 請求項3又は4に記載のハイブリッド車であって、
ユーザによって入力され、前記バッテリーのみ動力供給モードが選択されていることを示すモード選択指示を受け付けるモード入力インターフェースをさらに備え、
前記作動モード制御装置は、前記モード選択指示に応じて前記バッテリーのみ動力供給モードで作動するよう自動車を制御する、
ハイブリッド車。 - 請求項3乃至5のいずれかに記載のハイブリッド車であって、
前記作動モード制御装置は、前記動力バッテリーの電力量が電力量しきい値より低い場合に、自動車が前記バッテリーのみ動力供給モードとなることを禁止する、あるいは、自動車が前記バッテリーのみ動力供給モードであることを解除する、
ハイブリッド車。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のハイブリッド車であって、
前記通常モードでは、前記動力バッテリーが充電状態の時、当該動力バッテリーの充電容量は、当該動力バッテリーの最大充電容量よりも低く制限されている、
