Claims (13)
- 触媒ユニット(10)、特に船舶用ディーゼルエンジンのSCR排気ガス触媒コンバータのためのSCR触媒ユニットであって、非金属の触媒本体(11)を有し、具体的には排気ガスが通って流れるセラミックまたは繊維を含む触媒本体(11)を有する触媒ユニット(10)において、
略矩形の流入側(13)と略矩形の流出側(14)とを有する略立方形の輪郭と、
いくつかの区域において前記触媒本体(11)を包囲する金属製筐体(12)と、
前記触媒本体(11)と前記金属製筐体(12)との間の隙間(18)に位置決めされる少なくとも1つの支承マットと
を有し、
前記流入側(13)と前記流出側(14)とを画定する前記触媒本体(11)の周辺または縁(19)が、210mmから280mmの間の寸法、好ましくは230mmから260mmの間の寸法を各々有し、
前記触媒本体(11)の通過流れ方向(15)に対して垂直に見た前記触媒本体(11)と前記金属製筐体(12)との間の前記隙間(18)が、s≦p*5の関係に従って決定される寸法を有し、ここでsはmmでの前記隙間の寸法であり、pは、kg/m2で表される前記支承マットの密度の無次元量、または複数の支承マットを用いるときは、前記支承マットの平均密度であることを特徴とする触媒ユニット(10)。 - 前記触媒本体(11)の前記通過流れ方向(15)に対して垂直に見た前記触媒本体(11)と前記金属製筐体(12)との間の前記隙間(18)が、s≦p*4の関係に従って決定される寸法を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記支承マットまたは各々の支承マットの密度が0.9kg/m2から2.2kg/m2までの間であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記支承マットまたは各々の支承マットが、50%から70%までの間の全体繊維比率を有し、前記全体繊維比率においてSiO2繊維比率は少なくとも55%であり、30%から50%までの間の蛭石比率を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記触媒本体(11)の前記通過流れ方向(15)に対して垂直に延びる断面を有する前記金属製筐体(12)が、略矩形の断面表面を有し、前記断面表面を画定する前記金属製筐体(12)の周辺または縁(21)が、前記流入側(13)と前記流出側(14)とを画定する前記触媒本体(11)の周辺または縁(19)に対して平行に延び、220mmから290mmまでの間の寸法を有し、
前記触媒本体(11)の前記通過流れ方向(15)に対して垂直な前記金属製筐体(12)の側壁(17)が0.9mmから2.2mmまでの間の壁厚を有し、
前記触媒本体(11)の前記通過流れ方向(15)に対して垂直な前記隙間(18)の寸法が、最大で8mmであり、好ましくは最大で6mmであることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。 - 前記金属製筐体(12)と前記触媒本体(11)との間に少なくとも1つの支承マットが位置決めされる前記区域における前記金属製筐体(12)が、前記触媒本体(11)の方向に引き込まれることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記金属製筐体(12)と前記触媒本体(11)との間に支承マットが位置決めされない前記区域における前記金属製筐体(12)が空間を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記触媒本体(11)の前記流入側(13)の領域と前記流出側(14)の領域とにおける前記金属製筐体(12)が、突出部(23)を備え、前記突出部(23)が、前記触媒本体(11)と前記金属製筐体(12)との間の前記隙間(18)を少なくとも部分的に閉じると共に、投影図において前記流入側(13)および前記流出側(14)を画定する前記触媒本体(11)の周辺または縁(19)に隣接して前記流入側(13)および前記流出側(14)と重なることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記触媒本体(11)が、
少なくとも0.8mm、好ましくは少なくとも0.9mm、最も好ましくは少なくとも1.0mmの外壁厚を有し、
6mm未満の半径、好ましくは5mm未満の半径、最も好ましくは4mm未満の半径で丸められた周辺または縁(19、20)を有し、
1.75*Y(−0.3)≦dIW≦1.75*Y(−0.4)の関係に従って決定される内壁厚を有し、ここでdIWはmm(ミリメートル)での内壁厚の寸法であり、yはCPSI(1平方インチ当たりのセル)において表される前記触媒本体(11)のセル密度の無次元量であることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。 - 前記触媒本体(11)が、
550kg/m2未満、好ましくは500kg/m2未満、最も好ましくは450kg/m2未満の密度を有し、
5.1*10−61/Kから7.0*10−61/Kまでの間の熱膨張係数を有し、
少なくとも6bar、好ましくは少なくとも7bar、最も好ましくは少なくとも8barの均衡圧縮強度を有し、
少なくとも68%、好ましくは少なくとも70%、最も好ましくは少なくとも73%の自由通過流れ断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。 - 前記突出部(23)が、最大で20mm、好ましくは7mmから17mmまでの幅を有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 前記触媒本体の長さが、500mmから690mmまでの間、好ましくは550mmから660mmまでの間、最も好ましくは590mmから630mmまでの間であることを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の触媒ユニット(10)を複数有する排気ガス触媒コンバータ(10)。
