Description

以下は、Al−Mg合金部品の高圧金型鋳込みプロセスにおいて、溶融物中に少量の微細固体核を含む溶融金属を低過熱温度において鋳込むことの説明及び利点である。

以下は、Al−Si−Mg合金部品の重力金型鋳込みプロセスにおいて、溶融物中に少量の微細固体核を含む溶融金属を低過熱温度において鋳込むことの説明及び利点である。
Claims (15)
- 低過熱温度からゼロ過熱温度において鋳込むための溶融金属を調製する方法であって、
(a)初めに液相線温度より高い金属又は合金の溶融物を、熱除去が低からゼロの容器内に保持するステップと、
(b)制御された量の熱を除去するために、前記溶融物の中に少なくとも1つの熱除去プローブを配置し、前記溶融物の低過熱温度へのほぼ均一な冷却を確実にするために前記溶融物に活発な対流を加えるステップと、
(c)所望の温度に達すると、さらなる冷却を実質的に停止するために、冷却された溶融物から前記熱除去プローブを迅速に取り出すステップと、
(d)前記冷却された溶融物を、鋳込み用の第2の容器内に迅速に移すステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記容器は、坩堝又は取鍋の形態であり、前記熱除去プローブが熱を除去するよりも有意に低い速度で前記溶融物から熱を除去するような材料で作られ、且つ前記熱除去プローブが熱を除去するよりも有意に低い速度で前記溶融物から熱を除去するような温度である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物の一部分を、固体核が生じるのに十分に前記液相線温度より下に冷却することができる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物の中への前記熱除去プローブの挿入から、前記第2の容器の中への前記冷却された溶融物の流入までの時間は60秒未満である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記冷却された溶融物の中に生じる固体核の割合は、重量で0.05未満である、請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物中の前記活発な対流は、熱除去プローブを通して不活性ガスを毎分2〜10リットルの流量でバブリングさせることによってガス流により実現される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物中の前記活発な対流は、熱除去プローブの回転又は熱除去プローブによる前記溶融物の撹拌によって実現される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物中の前記活発な対流は、前記熱除去プローブの振動によって実現される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物中の前記活発な対流は、請求項6〜8のいずれか一項に記載の解決策の任意の組合せによって実現される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記熱除去プローブは多孔性であり、前記溶融物中に不活性ガスを吐出するように設計された多数のガス出口を与える、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記溶融物は、前記溶融物中での前記熱除去プローブの浸漬の間に、毎分摂氏10度を超える速度で冷却される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記プローブを取り出した後の、前記溶融物の前記過熱温度は摂氏10度未満である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記熱除去プローブは、グラファイト、セラミックス、金属、又はこれらの材料の複合物で作られる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記容器は、グラファイト、セラミックス、金属、又はこれらの材料の複合物で作られる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記金属又は合金は、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、銅、鉄、亜鉛、鉛、錫、ニッケル、銀、金、チタン、又はこれらの組合せから成る群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
