複数の画素を含む液晶パネルと;
第1の光源、第2の光源、及び液晶パネルを独立に駆動するように構成されたコントローラと;
を具備し、第1の光源からの光が、第2の面又は第3の面でなく第1の面によって優先的に反射され、第2の光源からの光が、第1の面でなく第2の面又は第3の面によって優先的に反射され、
コントローラが、液晶パネルの一次的状態と二次的状態とを迅速に切り替えるように構成され、かつ
コントローラが同様に第1の光源及び第2の光源の駆動を迅速に切り替えることによって、第2の光源でなく第1の光源が照明するときに液晶パネルが一次的状態にあり、かつ第1の光源でなく第2の光源が照明するときに液晶パネルが二次的状態にあるように構成されている。

コントローラが同様に第1の光源及び第2の光源の駆動を迅速に切り替えることによって、第2の光源でなく第1の光源が照明するときに液晶パネルが一次的状態にあり、かつ第1の光源でなく第2の光源が照明するときに液晶パネルが二次的状態にあるように構成されている、ディスプレイ装置。
Claims (15)
- 異なった配向の光分布を有する第1の光源及び第2の光源と;
第1の主表面と第2の主表面とを備える非対称転向フィルムであって、前記第2の主表面が複数の微細構造を備え、前記微細構造がそれぞれ、第1の形状を有する第1の面のうちの1つと、異なった第2の形状を有する第2の面、又は異なった第3の形状を有する第3の面のうちのいずれか1つと、を備える、非対称転向フィルムと;
複数の画素を備える液晶パネルと;
前記第1の光源、前記第2の光源、及び前記液晶パネルを独立に駆動するように構成されたコントローラと;
を具備し、前記第1の光源からの光が、第2の面又は第3の面でなく第1の面によって優先的に反射され、
前記第2の光源からの光が、第1の面でなく第2の面又は第3の面によって優先的に反射され、
前記コントローラが前記液晶パネルの
一次的状態と二次的状態とを迅速に切り替えるように構成され、
前記コントローラが同様に前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源の駆動を迅速に切り替えることによって、前記第2の光源でなく前記第1の光源が照明するときに前記液晶パネルが一次的状態にあり、かつ前記第1の光源でなく前記第2の光源が照明するときに前記液晶パネルが二次的状態にあるように構成されている、ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記二次的状態が静的状態であるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記静的状態がノイズパターンである、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記静的状態が完全に透過性である、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記静的状態が画像を含む、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記画像が妥当な作業空間を含む、請求項5に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記画像が広告用材料を含む、請求項5に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記二次的状態が動的状態であるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記動的状態が前記一次的状態の変形を含む、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記動的状態が広告用材料を含む、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源の少なくとも1つからの光を輸送するように構成されたライトガイドを更に具備する、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記非対称転向フィルムの前記第1の主表面が平滑表面である、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記複数の微細構造が線形微細構造である、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記非対称転向フィルムが反射防止コーティング又は反射防止構造化表面の少なくとも1つを備える、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
- 前記コントローラ、前記第1の光源、前記第2の光源、及び前記液晶パネルが、約8ms毎に一次的状態から二次的状態へと切り替わるように構成される、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ装置。
