Abstract
Description
ヒドロコロイド分子に疎水性分子団を導入して疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子を製造する段階;及び
純粋ヒドロコロイド分子に上記製造した疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子を添加してゲル(gel)化する段階;
を含む多様な範囲の疎水性を持つヒドロコロイドの製造方法を提供する。
寒天分子に疎水性分子であるオクタデシルアルキル鎖(C18)をイソシアネート法によって置換度が5%になるように置換して疎水性寒天分子を製造した。
上記実施例1で寒天分子に疎水性分子であるオクタデシルアルキル鎖を置換度が10%になるように置換し、疎水性寒天分子を製造したことを除いて上記実施例1と同一に実施した。
上記実施例1で寒天分子に疎水性分子であるオクタデシルアルキル鎖を置換度が20%になるように置換し、疎水性寒天分子を製造したことを除いて上記実施例1と同一に実施した。
アルジネート分子に疎水性分子であるオクタデシルアルキル鎖をイソシアネート法によって置換度が5%になるように置換して疎水性アルジネート分子を製造した。水溶液上で純粋アルジネート分子総重量に対して上記製造した置換度5%の疎水性アルジネート分子をそれぞれ5重量%、10重量%、20重量%で混合し、カルシウムイオン(CaCl2)を添加して疎水性アルジネートゲルを製造した。
上記実施例1で寒天分子に疎水性分子であるポリプロピレングリコール(PPG)を置換度が5%になるように置換し、疎水性寒天分子を製造したことを除いて上記実施例1と同一に実施した。
上記実施例1及び3でイソシアネート法による疎水性分子団が5%、20%にそれぞれ置換された寒天分子を使って、MALDI(Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization)分析法によって安全性を評価し、その結果を図1及び図2に示した。
疎水性寒天分子の置換度による接触角を調べるために、上記実施例1〜3でイソシアネート法による疎水性分子団が5%、10%、20%にそれぞれ置換された寒天分子を使って、製造された疎水性寒天の接触角を測定した。純粋寒天分子の濃度だけを調節して製造した寒天をコントロールにして、その結果を図3に示した。
疎水性寒天分子の混合比による接触角を調べるために、上記実施例1で純粋寒天分子に置換度が5%である疎水性寒天分子を5、10、20重量%で添加した場合に製造された寒天の接触角を測定し、その結果を図4に示した。
本発明によって製造された寒天の膨潤度及び内部構造の変化を調べるために、上記実施例1で製造した疎水性寒天を利用して膨潤度と、FE-SEMで内部構造を測定した。また、純粋寒天分子の濃度だけを調節して製造した寒天をコントロールにして、その結果を図5に示した。
Claims (9)
- ヒドロコロイド分子に疎水性分子団を導入して疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子を製造する段階;及び
水溶液上で純粋ヒドロコロイド分子に上記製造した疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子を添加してゲル化する段階;
を含む多様な範囲の疎水性を持つヒドロコロイドの製造方法。 - 上記ヒドロコロイドはアガロース(agarose)、アガ(agar)、セルロース(cellulose)、デキストラン(dextran)、ゼラチン(gelatin)、キサンタン(xanthan)、カラギーナン(carrageenan)、アルジネート(alginate)、寒天(agar gel)、ペクチン(pectin)、澱粉(starch)、グアル(guar)、ローカストビーンガム(locust bean gum)、アラビアガム(arabic gum、ARA)、カルボキシメチルセルロース(carboxymethylcellulose、CMC)、ゲランガム(gellan gum、GELL)、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース(hydroxypropylmethylcellulose、HPMC)、アルギン酸ナトリウム(sodium alginate、ALG)、キサンタンガム(xanthan gum、XAN)など選択されたいずれか一つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記疎水性分子団は、アルキル鎖(alkyl chain、C12-18)、アルケニル(alkenyl)、アシル鎖(acyl chain、C12-18)、プロピレングリコール(polypropylene glycol、PPG)及びポリカプロラクトン(poly(caprolactone)、PCL)の中で選択されたいずれか一つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子は、ヒドロコロイド分子にイソシアネート(isocyanate)合成法を利用して、疎水性分子団を導入して製造されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子は、疎水性置換度(Degree of substitution、DS)が5%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記疎水性ヒドロコロイド分子は純粋ヒドロコロイド分子の総重量に0.1〜50重量%で添加されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記ゲル化は水溶液上、120℃で恒温加圧して行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 上記恒温加圧以後、冷却または熟成段階をさらに行うことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の疎水性ヒドロコロイドの製造方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法で製造され、接触角が5〜80度であることを特徴とする、多様な疎水性範囲を持つヒドロコロイド。
