Abstract
Description

Claims (57)
- 組成物であって、
第1の官能基で官能化された第1のポリマーと、

を含み、前記第1のポリマーおよび前記第2のポリマーが、火炎への曝露時に架橋結合によって第3のポリマーを形成するように構成される、組成物。 - 前記第3のポリマーが、前記第1のポリマーまたは前記第2のポリマーのいずれかよりも高い分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1の官能基および前記第2の官能基が、アミンと酸、アミンとエポキシド、アミンと無水物、アミンとイソシアネート、アミンとアルデヒド、アミンとハロゲン化アルキル、アミンとスルホン酸アルキル、アミンとチオール、エポキシドと無水物、エポキシドとヒドロキシル、およびエポキシドと酸の官能基の組み合わせから選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1のポリマーが、エポキシ官能基を含有し、前記第2のポリマーが、ヒドロキシル官能基またはアミン官能基を含有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1の官能基および前記第2の官能基のうちの少なくとも一方が難燃剤を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記難燃剤がリン化合物である、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1のポリマーまたは前記第2のポリマーうちの少なくとも一方がポリオレフィンであり、前記ポリオレフィンが水放出添加剤を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記第1のポリマーまたは前記第2のポリマーのうちの少なくとも一方が、他方よりも低い融解点を有し、より低い融解点を有するポリマーが、反応性架橋剤を含有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記反応性架橋剤が、エポキシ変性9,10−ジヒドロ−9−オキシ−10−ホスファフェナントレン−10−オキシド(DOPO)を含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 織物であって、
第1の官能基で官能化された第1のポリマーの複数の第1の繊維と、
第2の官能基で官能化された第2のポリマーの複数の第2の繊維であって、前記第2の官能基が、前記第1の官能基と異なり、かつそれと相補的である、複数の第2の繊維と
を含み、前記第1のポリマーおよび前記第2のポリマーが、火炎への曝露時に架橋結合によって第3のポリマーを形成するように構成される、織物。 - 前記第1の繊維および前記第2の繊維が異なる、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維が、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)であり、前記第2の繊維が、ナイロンである、請求項11に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維および前記第2の繊維が同じである、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維および前記第2の繊維がナイロンである、請求項13に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の官能基および前記第2の官能基が、アミンと酸、アミンとエポキシド、アミンと無水物、アミンとイソシアネート、アミンとアルデヒド、アミンとハロゲン化アルキル、アミンとスルホン酸アルキル、アミンとチオール、エポキシドと無水物、エポキシドとヒドロキシル、およびエポキシドと酸の官能基の組み合わせから選択される、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維が、前記第2の繊維に螺旋状に巻き付けられる、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維が、前記第2の繊維と同じ方向に織られる、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維が、前記第2の繊維に対して直交方向に織られる、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維および第2の繊維が、2成分繊維を形成する、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 複数の第3の繊維をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第3の繊維が、綿、レーヨン、羊毛、毛、絹、およびアラミドのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項20に記載の織物。
- 前記第3の繊維が、前記第1の繊維または前記第2の繊維のいずれかよりも高い融解温度を有する、請求項20に記載の織物。
- 複数の金属繊維をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の官能基および前記第2の官能基のうちの少なくとも一方が難燃剤を含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記難燃剤がリン化合物である、請求項24に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維または前記第2の繊維のうちの少なくとも一方がポリオレフィンであり、前記ポリオレフィンが水放出添加剤を含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維または前記第2の繊維のうちの一方が、他方よりも低い融解点を有し、より低い融解点を有する繊維が、反応性架橋剤を含有する、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記反応性架橋剤が、エポキシ変性9,10−ジヒドロ−9−オキシ−10−ホスファフェナントレン−10−オキシド(DOPO)を含む、請求項27に記載の織物。
- 複数の官能化ナノ粒子をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維が、ナイロンを含み、ヒドロキシル官能基で官能化されたシリカナノ粒子を含み、前記第2の繊維が、ナイロンを含み、エポキシ官能基で官能化されたシリコンナノ粒子を含む、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 前記第1の繊維および前記第2の繊維が、組み合わされたときに発泡体を生成する化学対を含有する、請求項10に記載の織物。
- 難燃剤物品であって、
アンカー分子と、
共役体を形成する前記アンカー分子の反応性5官能基に化学結合したリン酸系難燃剤と、
ポリマーマトリックスであって、前記共役体が前記ポリマーマトリックス中に分散される、ポリマーマトリックスと
を含む、難燃剤物品。 - 前記アンカー分子が、エポキシ官能基、ヒドロキシル官能基、無水物官能基、カルボキシル官能基、スルフヒドリル官能基、エステル官能基、またはエーテル官能基のうちの少なくとも1つを有するアミン変性または無水物変性ポリマーである、請求項32に記載の難燃剤物品。
- 前記リン酸系難燃剤が、赤リン、ポリリン酸アンモニウム、トリスクロロプロピルホスフェート(TCCP)、DOPO(9,10−ジヒドロ−9−オキサ−10−ホスファフェナントレン−10−オキシド)、および1,3−フェニレンメチルホスホネートのうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項32に記載の難燃剤物品。
- 前記アンカー分子がナノ粒子である、請求項32に記載の難燃剤物品。
- 前記ナノ粒子が、剥離グラファイト、グラフェン、およびグラフェンオキシドのうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項35に記載の難燃剤物品。
- 前記アンカー分子が、前記ナノ粒子の表面に化学結合した高分子をさらに含む、請求項36に記載の難燃剤物品。
- 難燃剤物品を作製する方法であって、
変性難燃剤をポリマーマトリックスと混合する工程であって、前記変性難燃剤が、リン酸系難燃剤とアンカー分子の反応性官能基との反応生成物を含む、前記混合する工程と、
前記変性難燃剤を含む前記ポリマーマトリックスを含む前記難燃剤物品を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 前記リン酸系難燃剤の前記反応生成物が、前記リン酸系難燃剤を、前記アンカー分子のエポキシ官能基、ヒドロキシル官能基、無水物官能基、カルボキシル官能基、スルフヒドリル官能基、エステル官能基、またはエーテル官能基のうちの少なくとも1つと反応させる工程を含むプロセスによって作製される、請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記リン酸系難燃剤が、赤リン、ポリリン酸アンモニウム、トリスクロロプロピルホスフェート9,10−ジヒドロ−9−オキサ−10−ホスファフェナントレン−10−オキシド、および1,3,−フェニレンメチルホスホネートのうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項38に記載の方法。
- 前記混合する工程が、前記変性難燃剤を連続相ポリマーに添加する工程を含む、請求項38に記載の方法。
- 難燃剤物品を作製する方法であって、
変性難燃剤をポリマーマトリックスと混合する工程であって、前記変性難燃剤が、リン酸系難燃剤とナノ粒子の反応性官能基との反応生成物を含む、前記混合する工程と、
前記変性難燃剤を含む前記ポリマーマトリックスを含む前記難燃剤物品を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 前記反応生成物が、リン酸系難燃剤を、剥離グラファイト、グラフェン、およびグラフェンオキシドナノ粒子のうちの少なくとも1つと反応させる工程を含む方法によって生成される、請求項42に記載の方法。
- 前記反応させる工程が、前記ナノ粒子を高分子と反応させて前記変性難燃剤を生成する工程をさらに含む、請求項42に記載の方法。
- 前記混合する工程が、前記変性難燃剤を疎水性ポリマーマトリックス中に分散させる工程を含む、請求項42に記載の方法。
- リン酸系難燃剤とアンカー分子の反応性官能基との反応生成物を含む、変性難燃剤。
- 前記アンカー分子が、ナノ粒子を含む、請求項46に記載の変性難燃剤。
- 織物を織る方法であって、
第1の官能基で官能化された第1のポリマーの複数の第1の繊維を提供する工程と、
前記第1の官能基と異なり、かつそれと相補的である第2の官能基で官能化された第2のポリマーの複数の第2の繊維を提供する工程であって、前記第1のポリマーおよび前記第2のポリマーが、火炎への曝露時に架橋結合によって第3のポリマーを形成するように構成される、前記提供する工程と、
前記第1の繊維および第2の繊維を織って織物を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の繊維が、前記織ることによって前記第2の繊維に螺旋状に巻き付けられる、請求項48に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の繊維が、前記織ることによって前記第2の繊維と同じ方向に織られる、請求項48に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の繊維が、前記織ることによって前記第2の繊維に対して直交方向に織られる、請求項48に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の繊維および前記第2の繊維が、2成分繊維を形成する、請求項48に記載の方法。
- 複数の第3の繊維を前記織物に織り込む工程をさらに含む、請求項48に記載の方法。
- 前記第3の繊維が、綿、レーヨン、羊毛、毛、絹、およびアラミドのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項53に記載の方法。
