Claims (13)
- 複数の同心環状セル室を含む筐体、
複数の電気化学蓄電セル、
を備え、
複数の環状セルの各々は、複数の環状セル室のうちの一つの中に位置付けられ、
複数の環状セルは電気的に直列に接続され、
導電性電解質が環状セル室の各々を満たす、
電気化学蓄電マルチセル。 - 複数の環状セル室の各々は、
円筒状コアに巻きつけられてジェリーロール構造を形成する第1及び第2の電極シート、
第1及び第2の電極シートの各々は、ジェリーロール構造の端面に平行なコーティングされていない導電性エッジと、コーティングされていない導電性エッジの間にあるコーティングされている対向面とを含み、
第1及び第2の電極シートのコーティングされている対向面を機械的及び電気的に分離し、且つ、円筒状コアと第1の電極シートのコーティングされている対向面とを機械的及び電気的に分離する、第1及び第2のセパレータシート、
を備え、
コーティングされていない導電性エッジはタブを含み、タブはタブ間のコーティングされていない導電性エッジの一部を切り取ることによって形成され、タブは軸方向に外側へ突き出ていて、ジェリーロール構造を形成するときに、円筒状コアに対して、角度が同一の場所に配置される、
請求項1に記載の電気化学蓄電マルチセル。 - 円筒状コアはプラスチックコアを含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- コーティングされていない導電性エッジの、押し付けられて角度が同一の場所に配置されたタブをさらに含み、押し付けられて角度が同一の場所に配置されたタブは、互いに電気的に接続されている、請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の電気化学蓄電マルチセル。
- 筐体は4つの同心環状セル室を含む、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の電気化学蓄電マルチセル。
- カバーをさらに備え、
複数のセル室の各々は、筐体に取り付けられたカバーによって流体的に分離される、
請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の電気化学蓄電マルチセル。 - 複数の電気化学蓄電セルの各々を筐体の同心環状室内に位置付けること、
ここで、同心環状室の数は複数の電気化学蓄電セルに一致し、
複数の電気化学蓄電セルの各々を直列に電気的に接続すること、
を含み、
環状セル室の各々が導電性電解質で満たされている、
電気化学蓄電マルチセルのための方法。 - 第1及び第2の電極シートを円筒状コアに巻きつけてジェリーロール構造を形成することにより、複数の電気化学蓄電セルの各々を形成し、
第1及び第2の電極シートの各々は、ジェリーロール構造の端面に平行なコーティングされていない導電性エッジと、コーティングされていない導電性エッジの間にあるコーティングされている対向面とを含み、
第1及び第2のセパレータシートを第1及び第2の電極シートの間の円筒状コアに巻きつけて、第1及び第2の電極シートのコーティングされている対向面を機械的及び電気的に分離し、且つ、円筒状コアとコーティングされている対向面とを機械的及び電気的に分離し、
第1及び第2の電極シートのコーティングされていない導電性エッジから一部を切り取ることによって、タブを形成し、
タブは、軸方向に外側へ突き出ていて、ジェリーロール構造を形成するときに、円筒状コアに対して、角度が同一の場所に配置される、
請求項7に記載の方法。 - 複数の電気化学蓄電セルの各々を直列に電気的に接続することは、角度が同一の場所に配置されたタブを押し付けて、複数の電気化学蓄電セルのうちの一つの第1の電極のコーティングされていない導電性エッジを、複数の電気化学蓄電セルのうちの隣接する一つの第2の電極のコーティングされていない導電性エッジに、電気的に接続することを含む、請求項7又は請求項8に記載の方法。
- 複数の電気化学蓄電セルの各々を直列に電気的に接続することは、押し付けられたタブを筐体の導電性インサートに溶接して、複数の電気化学蓄電セルのうちの一つの第1の電極のコーティングされていない導電性エッジを、複数の電気化学蓄電セルのうちの隣接する一つの第2の電極のコーティングされていない導電性エッジに、電気的に接続することを含む、請求項7から請求項9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 浸漬、噴霧、物理的蒸着、及び金属スパッタリングの処理のうちの1つ又は複数によって、電気化学マルチセルを密閉することをさらに含む、請求項7から請求項10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 環状セル室の各々を流体的に分離することをさらに含む、請求項7から請求項11のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 複数の電気化学蓄電セルは、4つの電気化学蓄電セルを含み、
電気化学蓄電マルチセルは、電気化学蓄電クアッドセルを含む、
請求項7から請求項12のいずれかに記載の方法。
