式IIの非イオン性アルキルアルコキシレートと、
R1O−(CH2CH(R2)−O)x−(CH2CH2O)y−H (II)
水と、を含む組成物を織物材料と接触させることを含み、
式中、R1が、直鎖状または分岐C4−C10アルキルであり、
R2が、CH3またはCH3CH2であり、
xが1〜11の実数であり、
yが1〜20の実数であり、
Mがアルカリ金属またはNH4であり、
式I及び式II中のR1、R2、x、及びyが同じであっても異なってもよい。

式中、R1が、直鎖状または分岐C4−C10アルキルであり、R2が、CH3またはCH3CH2であり、xが1〜11の実数であり、yが1〜20の実数であり、Mがアルカリ金属またはNH4である。
式Iのxは4〜6であり、好ましくは5である。
式Iのyは1〜11であるか、あるいは3〜11であり、好ましくは3である。
式IのMはナトリウム、カリウム、またはアンモニウムである。Mは、好ましくは、ナトリウムまたはアンモニウムである。

式中、R1が、直鎖状または分岐C4−C10アルキルであり、R2が、CH3またはCH3CH2であり、xが1〜11の実数であり、yが1〜20の実数である。
式IIのxは4〜6である。
式IIのyは1〜11であるか、あるいは3〜11である。
「アルキルアルコキシレート硫酸塩」は、2−エチルヘキシル−O−(CH2CH(CH3)−O)5.5−(CH2CH2O)3−SO3Naを意味する。
本発明において使用される組成物の精練性能を評価するために、市販される界面活性剤、C12アルコールエトキシサルフェート及びC10−14第二級アルカンスルホネートで比較研究を実行する。
アルキルアルコキシレート硫酸塩、C12アルコールエトキシサルフェート、C10−14第二級アルカンスルホネート(全て、非イオン性アルキルアルコキシレートとブレンドされる)の湿潤性能の比較評価を、アルカリ性水溶液においてドレーブス湿潤試験に従って実行する。
1.1リットルのNaOH水溶液を、2重量%、5重量%、及び8重量%の濃度で調製し、次いで、界面活性剤を活性含量の0.1重量%でNaOH水溶液に添加する。
2.均一な円形の大きさ(直径25mm)をもつ市販のカンバス(織物材料)を、界面活性剤水溶液中に置く。
3.湿潤時間及び浸透時間を記録する。
表3の配合物の精練性能を評価する。
1.精練における配合物:H2O2、NaOH、界面活性剤。
2.精練条件:98〜100℃で40分間。
3.精練後の水でのすすぎ(90℃/60℃/40℃/室温)。
4.乾燥:120℃で2分間、その後は設定器による。
5.布についての白色度試験が、精練前及び精練後に必要とされる。
6.布:編地。
7.布サイズ:長さ(20〜30cm)、幅(〜5cm)。
洗浄した布を20〜30cmの範囲の長さ及び幅約5cmの3つの小片の大きさにし、この布片を、脱イオン水に約1cmの深さで浸して吊るす。5分後、湿潤高さを記録する。精練配合物(グラム単位)を表3に示し、精練結果を表4に示す。

R1O−(CH2CH(R2)−O)x−(CH2CH2O)y−H (II)
水と、を含む組成物を前記織物材料と接触させることを含み、
式中、R1が、直鎖状または分岐C4−C10アルキルであり、
R2が、CH3またはCH3CH2であり、
xが1〜11の実数であり、
yが1〜20の実数であり、
Mがアルカリ金属またはNH4であり、
式I及び式II中のR1、R2、x、及びyが同じであっても異なってもよい、前記方法。 - 前記組成物が、水酸化ナトリウムを更に含む、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
