Abstract
Description
図1は、実施形態の電力変換システム1の一例を示す図である。電力変換システム1は、例えば鉄道車両に搭載される。鉄道車両は、電気車の一例である。電力変換システム1には、集電装置400およびトランスの負荷用巻線(500および102)を介して、架線から交流電力が供給される。電力変換システム1は、交流電力を負荷用交流電力に変換して、交流負荷LACに供給する。また、電力変換システム1は、他のトランスを介して、高圧交流電力が供給され、高圧交流電力を変換して走行用モータに供給する。これにより電力変換システム1は、走行用モータに走行トルクを発生させ、鉄道車両を走行させる。なお、変圧器102に供給される交流電力は、高圧交流電力よりも低い電圧となっている。実施形態において、交流負荷LACは、走行用モータを除く鉄道車両の負荷であって、例えば、100ボルトの交流電圧で動作する電子機器などである。また、電力変換システム1は、低圧交流電力を負荷用直流電力に変換して、直流負荷LDCに供給する。これにより電力変換システム1は、交流直流負荷LDCを駆動させる。実施形態において、直流負荷LDCは、走行用モータMを除く鉄道車両の負荷であって、例えば、直流電圧で動作する電子機器などである。
Claims (6)
- 架線からの電力を降圧する変圧器と、
前記変圧器の二次巻線を介して供給された交流電力を直流電力に変換する交流−直流変換回路と、
前記変圧器から供給される交流電力の電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
前記交流−直流変換回路により変換された直流電力の電圧を降下させる降圧チョッパ回路と、
前記降圧チョッパ回路により降圧された直流電力を前記電気車に搭載された交流負荷を駆動させるための交流電力に変換して前記交流負荷に供給する交流負荷用電力変換部と、前記降圧チョッパ回路により降圧された直流電力を前記電気車に搭載された直流負荷を駆動させるための直流電力に変換して前記直流負荷に供給する直流負荷用電力変換部と、を有する補助電源用電力変換装置と、
前記交流−直流変換回路および前記降圧チョッパ回路を制御することで、前記電圧検出部により検出された交流電力の電圧を基準電圧に近づける制御部と、
を備える、電力変換システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記電圧検出部により検出された交流電力の電圧が前記基準電圧よりも低い場合には、前記交流−直流変換回路を用いて前記架線から前記変圧器を介して供給された交流電力を前記基準電圧に近づくように昇圧する、
請求項1に記載の電力変換システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記電圧検出部により検出された交流電力の電圧が前記基準電圧よりも高い場合には、前記降圧チョッパ回路を用いて、前記交流−直流変換回路により変換された直流電力の電圧を前記基準電圧に近づくように降圧する、
請求項2に記載の電力変換システム。 - 前記交流−直流変換回路は、複数のスイッチング素子および前記複数のスイッチング素子に逆並列接続されたダイオードを含むスイッチング回路を含み、
前記降圧チョッパ回路は、スイッチ部、コイル、およびコンデンサを含み、
前記制御部は、前記複数のスイッチング素子、および前記スイッチ部を導通状態と遮断状態との間でそれぞれ切り替える制御を行うことで、前記交流−直流変換回路を用いて前記架線から前記変圧器を介して供給された交流電力を前記基準電圧に近づくように昇圧し、前記降圧チョッパ回路を用いて、前記交流−直流変換回路により変換された直流電力の電圧を前記基準電圧に近づくように降圧する、
請求項1に記載の電力変換システム。 - 前記交流負荷用電力変換部および前記直流負荷用電力変換部は、複数のスイッチング素子を含み、
前記基準電圧は、前記スイッチング素子の耐圧および前記負荷の定格電圧に基づいて決定されている、
請求項1から4のうちいずれか1項に記載の電力変換システム。 - 前記降圧チョッパ回路における直流電力の出力端と前記交流負荷用電力変換部および前記直流負荷用電力変換部における直流電力の入力端とを接続する電力線に接続された蓄電装置であって、前記変圧器から前記交流−直流変換回路に供給される直流電力が低下した場合に、前記直流電力の低下に対応した電力を放電する蓄電装置を更に備える、
請求項1から5のうちいずれか1項に記載の電力変換システム。
