Abstract
【解決手段】自律床清掃ロボットであって、前進駆動方向を規定するロボット本体と、ロボット本体に担持された制御部と、ロボット本体を支持し、制御部からの指示に応じてロボットを表面上で動かすよう構成される駆動部と、ロボット本体の底面に配置され、ロボットの動作中に着脱可能な清掃パッドを保持するよう構成されるパッドホルダと、パッドホルダに保持されている清掃パッドの特徴を検出するよう配置され、対応する信号を生成するパッドセンサと、を備える自律床清掃ロボットが提供される。制御部は、パッドセンサにより生成される信号に応答するものであり、一組の複数のロボット清掃モードの中から、パッドセンサにより生成された信号の関数として選択された清掃モードに従ってロボットを制御する。

清掃パッド構造
・香り付け及び予め石鹸を付けておくことが可能なウェットモッピング清掃パッド。
・香り付け及び予め石鹸を付けておくことが可能であり、ウェットモッピング清掃パッドより少ない清掃液で清掃可能なダンプモッピング清掃パッド。
・香り付けや鉱油を浸透させることが可能であり、清掃液を必要としないドライダスティング清掃パッド。
・再利用可能であり、水、清掃溶液、香り付けされた溶液、または別の清掃液を用いて床面を清掃可能なウォッシャブル清掃パッド。
いくつかの例において、ウェットモッピング清掃パッド、ダンプモッピング清掃パッド、及びドライダスティング清掃パッドは、一回用使い捨て清掃パッドである。ウェットモッピング清掃パッド及びダンプモッピング清掃パッドは、パッケージから取り出した時点で水又は別の清掃液を含むよう、あらかじめ湿らせた、又はあらかじめ濡らした清掃パッドであり得る。ドライダスティング清掃パッドは、個別にミネラルオイルを浸透させることが可能であり得る。清掃パッドのタイプとの関連付けが可能なナビゲーション挙動及び散布スケジュールは、図4A−4B及び表1−3に関して更に詳細に後述する。

Claims (1)
- 自律床清掃ロボットであって、
前進駆動方向を規定するロボット本体と、
前記ロボット本体に担持された制御部と、
前記ロボット本体を支持し、前記制御部からの指示に応じて前記ロボットを表面上で動かすよう構成される駆動部と、
前記ロボット本体の底面に配置され、前記ロボットの動作中に着脱可能な清掃パッドを保持するよう構成されるパッドホルダと、
前記パッドホルダに保持されている清掃パッドの特徴を検出するよう配置され、対応する信号を生成するパッドセンサと、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記パッドセンサにより生成される前記信号に応答するものであり、一組の複数のロボット清掃モードの中から、前記パッドセンサにより生成された前記信号の関数として選択された清掃モードに従ってロボットを制御するよう構成される、自律床清掃ロボット。
