Abstract
Description
本発明の端子金具は、前記突起部が、前記端子本体部の幅方向において前記立壁部に隣接し、前記立壁部側が開放された形態をなして前記立壁部の高さまで突出する突壁部を備えているものとしてもよい。このような構成によれば、突壁部の高さ寸法を、立壁部側が開放されていない場合に比して大きくすることができるから、突壁部の高さ寸法を十分に大きくすることができる。
以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例について、図1〜図10を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
本実施例における端子金具10は、電線の端末部に接続された状態で、コネクタハウジング40のキャビティ41に収容されるものである。端子金具10は、導電性の金属板を所定の形状に打ち抜いた後、所定の形状に折り曲げることによって形成されている。以下、各構成部材において、図1の右下側(相手側端子金具に接続される側)を前方、左上側(電線に接続される側)を後方、また図1の上側(後述する突起部30が設けられた側)を上方、下側を下方として説明する。
本実施例の端子金具10は、電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部11と、電線接続部11の前方に設けられて、略方形断面を有する端子本体部12と、端子本体部12から上方に突出する突起部30と、を備え、突起部30は、端子本体部12の角部から端子本体部12の側面に沿って立つ立壁部35を有し、突起部30の前面は、前方へ向かって次第に突出寸法が小さくなる傾斜をなすとともに、突起部30の後面は、前後方向に開口している。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例では、突壁部36が立壁部35と同等の高さまで突出するものとされているが、これに限らず、例えば、図11に示すように、立壁部35の上端に被さる高さまで突出する突壁部50を有するものとしてもよい。これにより、端子金具がシール部材の貫通穴を通過する際の突起部の潰れ変形等を防ぐことができる。
(2)上記実施例では、突起部30が、端子本体部12の幅方向において立壁部35に隣接し、立壁部35側が開放された形態をなす突壁部36を備えているが、これに限らず、例えば、突起部の全体が立壁部から一体に続くものであってもよく、すなわち突起部が、立壁部の上端から内側に屈曲されて形成されていてもよい。
(3)上記実施例では、本発明を雄型の端子金具10に適用した場合について説明したが、これに限らず、本発明は、端子本体部の内部に相手側端子金具との接触片部が設けられた雌型の端子金具にも適用することができる。
(4)上記実施例では、突壁部36が、天井壁18の一部を叩き出して形成されたものとされているが、これに限らず、突壁部は、例えば天井壁を屈曲して形成してもよい。
(5)上記実施例では、天井壁18のうち突壁部36の後側には、天井壁18を厚さ方向に貫通する本体開口部19が形成されているが、必ずしも本体開口部は設けなくてもよい。
(6)上記実施例では、端子本体部12が、本体開口部19を塞ぐようにして本体開口部の内側に位置する内壁を備えているが、必ずしも内壁は設けなくてもよい。
(7)上記実施例では、突起部30にランス42が係止するものとされているが、これに限らず、例えば端子本体部の後端にランスが係止してもよく、ランスの係止箇所は任意に変更することができる。

- 電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部と、
前記電線接続部の前方に設けられて、筒状の箱部を有する端子本体部と、
前記端子本体部から前後方向に対して交差する方向に突出する突起部と、を備え、
前記突起部は、前記端子本体部の角部から前記端子本体部の側面に沿って立つ立壁部を有し、前記突起部の前面は、前方へ向かって次第に突出寸法が小さくなる傾斜をなすとともに、前後方向において前記突起部の後面が開口している端子金具。 - 前記突起部が、前記端子本体部の幅方向において前記立壁部に隣接し、前記立壁部側が開放された形態をなして前記立壁部の高さまで突出する突壁部を備えている請求項1に記載の端子金具。
- 前記側壁のうち前記突壁部の後側に、前記側壁を壁厚方向に貫通する開口部が形成されている請求項2に記載の端子金具。
- 前記側壁から内側に折り曲げられた状態で前記開口部を覆う内壁を備えている請求項3に記載の端子金具。
