Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明に係る電極板の製造方法では,第1の位置で対向する第1および第2のロールと,第2の位置で第2のロールと対向する第3のロールとを有する電極板製造装置を用い,第1から第3のロールを回転させつつ,第1の位置に電極材料を供給するとともに第2の位置に集電箔を通過させる。さらには,電極板製造装置として,内部に流路が形成されているとともに,外周面が,第1のロール,第2のロール,第3のロールのうちの少なくとも1つの外周面に接触して設けられている流路ロールと,流路に流体を循環させる循環部とを有するものを用いる。そして,電極板の製造時には,循環部に,流路ロールの流路に流体を循環させる。

Description
電極板は,第2の位置において活物質層を集電箔に転写することで製造される。このため,第2の位置に係る第3のロールの温度変化を抑制することにより,第1のロールの温度変化を抑制した場合よりも,均一な厚みの活物質層を形成できる傾向にあるからである。

Claims (8)
- 外周面の一箇所同士が互いに対向するとともに,外周面同士が対向する第1の位置における外周面の移動方向がともに鉛直方向の下向きとなる向きに回転する第1のロールおよび第2のロールと,
前記第2のロールと外周面の一箇所同士が前記第1の位置以外の第2の位置にて互いに対向するとともに,前記第2の位置における外周面の移動方向が第2のロールの外周面の移動方向と同じとなる向きに回転する第3のロールとを有する電極板製造装置を用い,
活物質および結着材を少なくとも含む電極材料を前記第1の位置の上側より前記第1の位置に通過させて,前記第2のロール上に活物質層を形成し,
集電箔を前記第3のロールに巻き掛けつつ前記第2の位置に通過させ,前記第2のロール上の前記活物質層を前記集電箔上に転写して電極板を製造する電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,
内部に流路が形成されているとともに,外周面が,前記第1のロール,前記第2のロール,前記第3のロールのうちの少なくとも1つの外周面に接触して設けられている流路ロールと,
前記流路に流体を循環させる循環部とを有するものを用い,
前記循環部に,前記流路に前記流体を循環させつつ電極板を製造することを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記流路ロールとして,外周面の硬度が,接触しているロールの外周面の硬度よりも低いものを用いることを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項2に記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記流路ロールとして,外周面が,炭素繊維よりなる炭素繊維層によって覆われているものを用いることを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかに記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,
前記流路ロールが接触しているロールの温度を検出して出力する温度出力部と,
前記流体の温度を調整する温度調整部とを有するものを用い,
前記温度調整部に,前記温度出力部が出力する温度が高いときには低いときよりも,前記流体の温度を低くさせつつ電極板を製造することを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかに記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,前記流路ロールが接触しているロールの温度を検出して出力する温度出力部を有するものを用い,
前記循環部に,前記温度出力部が出力する温度が高いときには低いときよりも,前記流体の流速を速くさせつつ電極板を製造することを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれかに記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,
前記流路ロールが,前記第2のロールについて設けられているものを用いることを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれかに記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,
前記流路ロールが,前記第2のロールおよび前記第3のロールについて設けられているものを用いることを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれかに記載の電極板の製造方法において,
前記電極板製造装置として,
前記流路ロールが,前記第1のロール,前記第2のロール,前記第3のロールのいずれについても設けられているものを用いることを特徴とする電極板の製造方法。
