帯状の状態で供給される第1の集電体シート上に複数設けられた枠体のそれぞれに、前記第2の集電体の外周部が、隣接する枠体に固定される第2の集電体と重なり合わないよう配置して被切断体を形成する被切断体形成工程と、
当該被切断体の前記シール部を各第2の集電体の外周部よりも外側、第2集電体間の間隙で切断して単電池構造体毎に切り離す切断工程と、
を有する電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の電池の製造方法であって、
前記被切断体形成工程は、
前記帯状の第1の集電体シートを連続供給する工程と、
連続供給される前記帯状の第1の集電体シート上の長手方向に、枠体下層部を繰り返して形成する枠体下層部配置工程と、
前記枠体下層部の内側に正極活物質または負極活物質の一方を充填する第1の充填工程と、
前記枠体下層部上に前記セパレータの外周部が位置するよう前記セパレータを配するセパレータ配置工程と、
当該セパレータの外周部を配した枠体下層部上に枠体上層部を形成して、枠体を形成する枠体形成工程と、
当該枠体上層部の内側に、前記正極活物質または負極活物質の他方を充填する第2の充填工程と、
前記形成された枠体上に、第2の集電体をその外周部が位置するよう配する集電体配置工程と、
を含む電池の製造方法。 - 請求項2記載の電池の製造方法であって、
前記第1の集電体シート上に形成された枠体は、それに隣接する枠体と連続しており、各枠体と前記セパレータとの重なり部分の幅、及び各枠体の辺と前記第2の集電体との重なり部分の幅は、各枠体の辺の幅d/2未満であり、前記セパレータ、及び前記第2の集電体は、それぞれ隣接する枠体で封止されるセパレータ及び第2の集電体と重なり合わないよう配される電池の製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載の電池の製造方法であって、
前記枠体は、矩形状をなし、当該枠体が有する4つの辺のうち相対する一組の辺が隣接する枠体の有する辺にそれぞれ連続してなる電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電池の製造方法であって、
前記被切断体形成工程において、前記第1の集電体シート上に形成された前記枠体の、第2の集電体を配置する側の面に、断面が所定形状をなす溝を形成する工程を含む電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電池の製造方法であって、
前記切断工程で得られた単電池構造体を複数積層配置する工程をさらに含む電池の製造方法。
