Abstract
【解決手段】
本発明のオイルストレーナ1は、ロアハウジング3およびアッパハウジング4と、ハウジング3,4間に挟持された濾過エレメント5と、を備える。濾過エレメント5は、目の粗い第1濾材16と、第1濾材16の下流側に積層された目の細かい第2濾材17と、この下流側に積層されて、濾材16,17を保持するリテーナプレート18と、からなる。第1濾材16は第2濾材17に部分的に当接する複数のプリーツ24を有し、第2濾材17はオイルのバイパスを許容する開口部28を有する。オイルは濾材16,17を順に通過し、濾材16,17によって異物が捕捉される。第1濾材16を通過したオイルの一部は、プリーツ24間に画成された油路26に沿って流れ、油路26に対応する開口部28を通って第2濾材17をバイパスする。

Claims (5)
- 吸入口および吐出口を有するハウジングと、このハウジングの内部を吸入口側と吐出口側とに区画する濾過エレメントと、を備え、上記吸入口から上記濾過エレメントを通って上記吐出口へとオイルが流れるオイルストレーナにおいて、
上記濾過エレメントは、
目の粗い第1濾材と、
上記第1濾材の上流側もしくは下流側に積層された目の細かい第2濾材と、
上記第1濾材および上記第2濾材の下流側に積層されて、これらの濾材を保持するとともに、複数の通油口を有するリテーナプレートと、
を備え、
上記第2濾材は、オイルの一部が該第2濾材をバイパスするように、少なくとも1つの開口部を有し、
上記第1濾材および上記第2濾材の一方に、他方の濾材に部分的に当接するように凹凸形状が形成されている、ことを特徴とするオイルストレーナ。 - 上記凹凸形状は、複数のプリーツを有するように上記第1濾材もしくは上記第2濾材の母材を波状に折曲加工することによって形成されており、
上記プリーツ間に画成される油路の各々が上記開口部に連通している、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のオイルストレーナ。 - 上記第1濾材は金網からなり、上記吸入口側に配置され、上記第2濾材は不織布からなり、上記第1濾過材の下流側に配置される、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のオイルストレーナ。
- 上記開口部は、上記リテーナプレートの各通油口にそれぞれ対応するように配設された複数の開口部からなる、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のオイルストレーナ。
- 上記開口部は、いくつかの上記通油口に対応するように延在した1つの開口部からなる、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のオイルストレーナ。
