Description
1.「大径部6wの内径の平均は、中径部6mの内径の平均よりも大きい」
2.「大径部6wの内径の最小値は、中径部6mのなかで、導電性ガラスシール層16に接触している部位における内径の最大値よりも大きい」
3.「大径部6wの内径の最小値は、中径部6mの内径の最大値以下である」
上記3で「以下」と表現したのは、大径部6wの内径の最小値、及び中径部6mの内径の最大値共に、境界Bwmにおける値であり、一致した値になるからである。
実施形態2において、距離比が20%を超え、且つ、第2の距離比が20%以下に設定されてもよい。この場合でも、負荷寿命を確保できると考えられる。

Claims (5)
- 先端側に接地電極を有する略筒状の主体金具と、
小径部と、前記小径部よりも径が大きく、前記小径部の後端に段部を介して接続する中径部と、前記中径部よりも径が大きく、前記中径部よりも後端側に配置された大径部と、を有する軸孔が内部に設けられ、前記主体金具内に保持される筒状の絶縁碍子と、
少なくとも一部が前記大径部内に配置される抵抗体と、
前記中径部内において径方向に張り出して前記段部に接触する鍔部と、前記鍔部から先端側に延び、前記小径部内に配置される脚部と、を有する中心電極と、
前記段部よりも後端側に配置され、前記中心電極と前記抵抗体とを電気的に接続する導電性のシール体と、
を備えるスパークプラグであって、
前記シール体の後端は、前記中径部内に位置する
ことを特徴とするスパークプラグ。 - 前記中心電極は、前記シール体の後端よりも後端側に位置する突出部を有し、
前記突出部は、前記抵抗体に埋設されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記突出部の表面は、亜鉛、錫、鉛、ロジウム、パラジウム、白金、銅、金、アンチモンおよび銀のうちの何れか1つを主体とする金属、または、ホウ素とリンとの何れかを含有するニッケル合金を最も多く含有する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記中心電極の後端は、前記大径部内に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記抵抗体の先端側端部から前記大径部の先端までの距離は、前記大径部の前記先端から前記抵抗体の後端側端部までの距離に対して20%以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までの何れか一項に記載のスパークプラグ。
