Claims (10)
- (質量%で)66〜76%のSiO2、0〜8%のAl2O3、10〜18%のB2O3、0〜4%のLi2O、0〜12%のNa2O、0〜12%のK2O、1〜1.5%のAg、1.5〜2.5%のCl-、並びに合計量が0.01〜0.06%のCuOおよびNiOを含むフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物であって、紫外線照射に曝露された際に、安定状態にある色または色合いから、より薄い色または色合いに脱色可能である、フォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物が熱的に暗色化可能である、請求項1記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物が、150℃以上の温度で熱的に暗色化可能である、請求項1または2記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 2〜12%のNa2Oを含む、請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物がLi2Oを実質的に含まない、請求項1から4いずれか1項記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物がBr-を実質的に含まない、請求項1から5いずれか1項記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物。
- 基板層および請求項1から6いずれか1項記載のフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物から構成されたフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス層を少なくとも1つ備えた多層ガラス積層板。
- ガラス組成物を強化する方法において、
(質量%で)66〜76%のSiO2、2〜8%のAl2O3、10〜18%のB2O3、0〜4%のLi2O、2〜12%のNa2O、0〜12%のK2O、1〜1.5%のAg、1.5〜2.5%のCl-、並びに合計量が0.01〜0.06%のCuOおよびNiOを含み、Br-を実質的に含まないフォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物を、溶融塩浴中に浸漬する工程であって、該フォトクロミックホウケイ酸ガラス組成物が、イオン交換を行うのに十分な時間に亘り十分な温度で該溶融塩浴中に浸漬される工程を有してなる方法。 - 前記浴の温度が約350℃と450℃の間にあり、前記時間が約6時間と10時間の間にある、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記溶融塩浴がKNO3を含む、請求項8または9記載の方法。
