Abstract
Description
I=I0cos(α) 式1
であるランバートの余弦則に従う光源であり、ここでαは観察角度と等しく、I0は、α=0、すなわちLEDに対する法線での光強度である。式1から推論されるように、α=90に近い観察角度での光強度は非常に低い。市販で入手可能なランバーシアンLEDの例は、ルクセオン(登録商標)レベル(Luxeon Rebel)又はルクセオン(登録商標)K2(Luxeon K2)のLEDである。代替は、ルクセオン(登録商標)3535(Luxeon 3535)等の平坦な中電力のLEDである。
Claims (15)
- 少なくとも1つの光源と、
動作の際、前記少なくとも1つの光源から放射される光を受ける光入力端面と、前記光入力端面の反対側に配置される光出力端面と、を各々含む、少なくとも第1の光ガイドと第2の光ガイドとを含む光ガイドユニットと、
を含み、
前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドの少なくとも一部分は、前記光出力端面の近くで、前記光入力端面と前記光出力端面との間において曲げ半径Rで曲げられ、
前記光ガイドユニットの少なくとも前記第1の光ガイドは、断面がリング形状であり、
前記光ガイドユニットの前記第1の光ガイドと前記第2の光ガイドとは、入れ子の関係で配置される、
発光装置。 - 前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドは、第1の表面及び第2の表面を含み、前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドのうちの一方の前記第1の表面が、前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドのうちの他方の前記第2の表面と平行に、且つ隣接して延在するように配置される、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドのうちの一方の前記第1の表面が、前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドのうちの他方の前記第2の表面と当接して配置される、請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットの前記第2の光ガイドは、断面がリング形状である、請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットは、中央空洞の周りに前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドが延在する、当該中央空洞を更に含む、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記第1の光ガイド及び前記第2の光ガイドと入れ子の関係で配置される、少なくとも1つの更なる光ガイドを更に含む、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットは、当該光ガイドユニットの中心軸に対して垂直に延在する断面で見たときにリング形状である、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットは、略漏斗形状である、請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットは、当該光ガイドユニットの中心軸と平行に延在する断面で見たときに略漏斗形状である、請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットは、2つの前記光出力端面を含む、請求項1乃至9の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットの前記光出力端面は、波形状である、請求項1乃至10の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光ガイドユニットの前記光出力端面は、複数のプリズム構造を備える、請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光源は、ランバーシアン光源である、請求項1乃至12の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光源は、1つのLED、複数のLED、又はリモートフォスファ光源である、請求項1乃至13の何れか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 外側カバーと、基部と、前記基部上に配置され、前記外側カバーによって覆われる、請求項1乃至14の何れか一項に記載の発光装置と、を含む、ランプ。
