Claims (23)
- エンジンから排気ガスを受け入れる排気管であって、第1の長手軸を画定する第1の部分と、前記第1の軸に対して傾いた第2の長手軸を画定する第2の部分とを含む排気管と、
前記排気管内に配置され、管状部分と、前記管状部分から半径方向外側に延びるカラーとを含む混合管であって、前記管状部分は複数の開口および複数のデフレクタを含み、前記複数の開口は前記管状部分の内径面および外径面を貫通し、前記複数のデフレクタの各々は前記複数の開口の対応する1つに隣接して配置される混合管と、
を有する後処理システム。 - 前記デフレクタは、前記外径面から外側に延びる、請求項1に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記デフレクタは、前記内径面から内側に延びる、請求項1に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記カラーは、前記管状部分の下流端から延びる、請求項1に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記カラーは、前記管状部分から半径方向外側に延びる複数のブレードを有するスワラを含む、請求項1に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの各々は、半径方向内側端および半径方向外側端を含み、前記半径方向外側端は互いに離間している、請求項5に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの各々は、前記半径方向内側端と前記半径方向外側端との間で、前記ブレードの縁部から半径方向内側に延びるタブを含む、請求項6に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの半径方向に延びる縁部は、各ブレードの前記半径方向内側端と、同じブレードの前記外側端とが回転方向に互いにずれるように角度を付けられる、請求項6に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記第2の長手軸に沿って、前記管状部分の上流端に配置された還元剤注入装置と、前記混合管および前記還元剤注入装置の下流に配置された触媒とをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の後処理システム。
- エンジンからの排気ガスを受け入れる排気管であって、第1の長手軸を画定する第1の部分と、前記第1の軸に対して傾いた第2の長手軸を画定する第2の部分とを含む排気管と、
前記排気管内に配置され、管状部分と、前記管状部分から半径方向に延びるスワラとを含む混合管であって、前記管状部分は前記管状部分の内径面および外径面を貫通した複数の開口を含み、前記スワラは前記管状部分から半径方向外側に延びる複数のブレードを含む、混合管と、
を有する後処理システム。 - 前記管状部分は複数のデフレクタを含み、前記デフレクタの各々は前記複数の開口の対応する1つに隣接して配置される、請求項10に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記デフレクタは、前記外径面から外側に延びる、請求項11に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記デフレクタは、前記内径面から内側に延びる、請求項11に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記スワラは、前記管状部分の下流端から延びる、請求項10に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの各々は、半径方向内側端および半径方向外側端を含み、前記半径方向外側端は互いに離間している、請求項10に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの各々は、前記半径方向内側端と前記半径方向外側端との間で、前記ブレードの縁部から半径方向内側に延びるタブを含む、請求項15に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記ブレードの半径方向に延びる縁部は、各ブレードの前記半径方向内側端と、同じブレードの前記外側端とが回転方向に互いにずれるように角度を付けられる、請求項15に記載の後処理システム。
- 前記第2の長手軸に沿って、前記管状部分の上流端に配置された還元剤注入装置と、前記混合管および前記還元剤注入装置の下流に配置された触媒とをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の後処理システム。
- 排気ガスと還元剤とを後処理システム内で混合する方法であって、
エンジンからの排気ガスが通流する排気管内に混合装置を設け、前記混合装置は管状部分を含むことと、
前記排気ガスの第1の部分を前記管状部分の複数の開口から前記管状部分内に受け入れることと、
前記排気ガスの第2の部分が、前記管状部分と前記排気管の内径面との間を流れるのを可能にすることと、
還元剤を前記管状部分内に注入することと、
第1の旋回流パターンを前記管状部分内に発生させることと、
第2の旋回流パターンを前記排気ガスの前記第2の部分を用いて発生させ、前記第2の旋回流パターンが前記第1の旋回流パターンを取り囲むことと、
を有する方法。 - 前記第1の旋回流パターンは、前記管状部分から半径方向外側に延びる複数のデフレクタによって発生する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の旋回流パターンは、前記管状部分から半径方向内側に延びる複数のデフレクタによって発生する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の旋回流パターンは、前記管状部分から半径方向外側に延びる複数のブレードによって発生する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記混合装置の下流で、前記第1および第2の旋回流パターンをブレンドすることをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
