(c)前記候補薬物又は前記プラセボの前記投与後に、ステップ(a)を反復するステップ;及び
(d)前記候補薬物が、前記第2のサブセットの患者において生じるいかなる低下と比較して統計的に有意に、前記1又は2以上のバイオマーカーの発現を低下させるか否かを判定するステップであって、統計的に有意な低下が、前記候補薬物が前記神経学的疾患の治療において有用であることを示す、ステップ; - 所定の時間の後に、患者から1又は2以上の追加的な血液試料を得るステップと、前記1又は2以上の追加的な試料由来のバイオマーカーのレベルを比較して、疾患進行を判定するステップとをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 患者を所定の期間治療するステップと、前記所定の時間の後に、前記患者から1又は2以上の追加的な血液試料を得るステップと、前記1又は2以上の追加的な試料由来のバイオマーカーのレベルを比較して、疾患進行を判定するステップとをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。

神経学的疾患に関して患者を治療するステップ;
神経学的疾患を有すると疑われる患者から得られる血液試料から2又は3以上のバイオマーカー、前記患者の年齢、及び前記患者の1又は2以上の認知検査の結果を測定するステップ;及び
前記治療が、治療していない前記第2のサブセットの患者又は前記患者から得られる先の試料において生じるいかなる低下と比較しても統計的に有意に、前記1又は2以上のバイオマーカーの発現を低下させるか否かを判定するステップであって、統計的に有意な低下が、前記治療が前記神経学的疾患の治療において有用であることを示すステップ; - 以下のステップを含む、神経学的疾患の診断を補助する方法。
