Abstract
Description
(b)パンチを使用して、シェルの略円筒形の壁と成形された上部領域に対して冷間引抜きを行い、上部領域を、引抜き作業の間に、シェルの遷移ゾーンに接触させ;
(c)端部領域と遷移ゾーンを形成し、開いた上部を閉じ、そこから延伸するネックを形成し;および、
(d)ネックにネジ山を切り込む。
Claims (16)
- 圧力容器内で使用するライナーの製造方法であって:
(a)閉じたクラウン形状の端部(16)と開いた上部を有するアルミ合金のカップ形状のシェル(10)を提供し、前記シェルは、肉厚の小さい壁を有するドラム領域(18)と、肉厚の大きい壁を有する上部開き口に備えられた端部領域(20a)と、肉厚が次第に細くなる中間遷移ゾーン(20b)と、を有し;
(b)パンチ(24)を使用して、シェルを略円筒形の壁に対して冷間引抜きし、成形された上部領域(24a)を、引抜き動作の間に、シェルの遷移ゾーン(20b)に接触させ;
(c)端部領域(20a)と遷移ゾーン(20b)を形成して、開いた上部を閉じ、そこから延伸するネック部(32)を形成し;および、
(d)ネジ山をネックに切り込む、
圧力容器内で使用するライナーの製造方法。
- パンチの成形された上部領域(24a)は、概ね内側に延伸し、冷間引抜きは:
(i)パンチ(24)とシェル(10)を、少なくともシェルの端部領域(20a)の外径よりも小さい径を有するダイに押し込むステップ;および、
(ii)パンチの円筒部がさらに、シェルの遷移ゾーン(20b)を形成するように、パンチをシェル(10)から引き抜くステップを含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップb(ii)は、シェルの遷移ゾーン(20b)の内側表面を平らにする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 成形された、パンチの上部領域(24a)は、凹曲率半径R2を有する第二内側方向湾曲部分に隣接する、凸曲率半径R1を有する第一内側方向曲線部分を含む、請求項2または3に記載の方法。
- R1はR2よりも大きい、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 「R1=2 x R2 ± 20%」である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- ダイの径は、シェルのドラム領域(18)の径よりも小さい、請求項2から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- カップ形状のシェルを提供するステップであるステップ(a)は:
(i)閉じたクラウン形状の端部(16)と、開いた上部を有するカップ形状のシェルを提供するステップ;および、
(ii)カップ形状のシェルを機械加工して、肉厚の小さい壁を有するドラム領域(18)と、肉厚の大きい壁を有する端部領域(20a)と、肉厚が次第に小さくなる遷移ゾーン(20b)を形成するステップと、を有する、
請求項1〜8に記載の方法。
- カップ形状のシェル(10)は、アルミ合金を押し出すことによって、形成する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)は回転形成によって実行する、請求項1〜10に記載の方法。
- アルミ合金は、AA7xxxやAA2xxxシリーズなどから選択された一種類の高強度の合金である、請求項1〜11に記載の方法。
- アルミ合金は、AA7xxxシリーズから選択される請求項12に記載の方法。
- アルミ合金は、AA7060である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 冷間引抜きのステップは、15〜38%の間の量で、シェルの冷間加工が含まれる、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 冷間加工の量は、25〜38%である、請求項15に記載の方法。
